Chapter 16 - Back To Village

With a little bit of my guidance, we landed just outside the formation protecting Phoenix village.

"I didn't know there is a village in the middle of this forest!" Cang Yue said with shock and disbelieve.

"And not just any village, these are people with Phoenix Bloodline Cang Yue, you have to promise me you won't speak to anyone about this..." I said with a very serious voice.

The Blue Wind Princess gasped and looked at me, then she slowly nodded, in understanding.

"I Will Junior Brother..." sensing that she is genuine with her promise, I nodded at her.

"Good, now I need you to touch that barrier, " I pointed at the barrier, Cang Yue was a little bit hesitant, but she still did it.

The moment she touches it, she quickly jumped back.

"w-what was that?! it like my Profound Energy went... out of control!" She looked at me with awe, shock and fear.

"that's the defence mechanism of this formation barrier, at first it only disturbs Profound energy, but if you ignore it and continued moving on, you will eventually 'forget' how to sense Profound Energy as long as he or she is inside of it," I said with a hand motion.

"forget?!? how D-did you came up with this?" She slowly calmed down.

"it in people head Cang Yue, easy no? it really doesn't matter if he is Elemental Profound or Sovereign Profound they still human in end, two legs, two arms, one head, the difference is just how much Profound energy flows through one's veins." the only reason I was not in total awe when I saw Qianye Ying'er, is that in the very end no matter how much you progress in that cultivation race as long as you don't take that 'final' step of turning into real 'True God ' you still need your body, your blood, your brain...which can still be manipulated and lied to...

And that's what I did in this formation, as the invader who enters into this barrier without permission, will be 'attacked' by the profound energy inside the barrier which is denser than that of invading person, thanks to the Phoenix trials and my own personal formation amplifier.

The best part is that once the person steps in that dense profound energy will start interfering with invaders ones, and if he ignores that, we'll he will get one hell of a wake-up call, because no matter what he does once he reaches the 10-metre line inside of it, he will 'forget' how to sense it, as the barrier invading profound energy will literally reach his brains by that point and it will mess up his 6 senses, and for the cream on top he will be ejected like from a catapult, sending right into the middle of a profound beast infested forest...

Obviously I didn't tell neither to Ying'er or Cang Yue none of them need to know how lethal this formation actually is...

"When you put it like that Junior Brother..." Princess had her own realisation.

"right I want you to touch it with your hand again, and I will give you permission..." she nodded this time without hesitation she did what I asked.

Same time I send a pulse of my profound energy accessing the formation, and adding Cang Yue Profound energy into 'whitelist'.

Once done with that we both passed the barrier, Princess already by then recalled her flying mount.

I can believe we made it back only in 6 hours while it took me a month of walking!

Well, not that I was rushing to reach the city...

Anyway we continued into Village and soon enough...

A Black missile rammed into me with a hug.

"Big Brother Feng you finally back!" Feng Xian'er said happily as she completely ignored the Princess next to me who started giggling a little bit, only now Xian'er heard that.

"Oh! is that your wife Big Brother Feng?!" She looked at Princess with her big innocent eyes.

Cang Yue expression made a complete 180 from giggling to super blush in a flash, if this was anime world she would be having steam coming out from her ears by now.

"Nop, She is a disciple for now Xian'er..." She nodded happily, hearing that for some reason.

"I see! will you teach her how to scream your attacks as well?!" I nearly lost my footing hearing that.

"what's wrong with shouting my attacks? It helps with blood pumping when you fight!" I defended my reason, but I could feel my ears going into the red zone.

Princess next to me was almost on the ground laughing, she was holding her stomach and all...

Even my 'Golden hug pillow' inside pearl was doing the same thing...

"really? I didn't know that! anyway Big Brother I had a breakthrough to next small realm!" She did a victory pose with two fingers. something I taught her.

I looked at her and she was at forth of Elemental Profound...

"Good as long as you follow what your elders telling you, and if you think they are wrong, then come to me, ok?" She nodded at me and dashed back to into the heart of the village.

"isn't it too early for her to cultivate at that age?" Cang Yue asked after getting herself back together.

"not if she stays in Elemental Profound..." I said back to her, as we continued walking towards my house.

None of us conversed until Princess saw my house, she simply stopped and stared at it for several moments, while I did unlocking sequences with my hand signs.

"I have never seen this kind of unique building type before... it feels original, like it belongs to you..." Princess finally said what she wanted to say, which is kind of true...

I mean I am 'Westerner' in the eastern world, while I know their traditions it doesn't mean I will follow all of them...

"Right, come in, while you are Princess of this Empire, this is still my home, and you shall follow my house rules..." She nodded very quickly as she saw my gaze.

I opened the door, Allowed her to enter first then I followed right after her and closed them after myself.

"Right shoes go over there " I pointed shoebox, I already started taking my own battle shoes.

Seeing me do that Princess followed after me as she took off her own fancy looking shoes.

then I pulled out soft-looking slippers for myself and her.

"thank you," She said that and put them on.

Once we done with that I lead her into the living room.

"Let me show you where you will be living for next year..." I said to her, while Cang Yue listened to what I said, her eyes were wandering around, from sealing, checking from where the light was coming from, to 'unique' looking kitchen in distance, and of of course the bar separating the living room and kitchen.

"This is the living room, over there in the kitchen, the doors on right in the kitchen is to the terrace, which is still under construction," I said in one breath, as I continued walking

"the corridor on left, which lead to the armoury, workshop, and stairs to next floor..." I said while continued walking towards the corridor.

"While there is still a lot of space on the ground floor, I am keeping them open, in case I get 'enlightenment', and turn those rooms into something..." I said with shrug, Princess stayed quiet as she was, I think having a cultural shock...

I had that too when I entered into that filthy sect, everything was a big waste of space, rubbing into the face of people, most of all showing off their wealth, I personally don't mind showing off, I do that too, but there should moderation...

"right if you wish to cultivate, don't do it on your bed, instead I have a room for that, it over there, that door..." I pointed at the cultivation room.

"that means Princess, that bed in your room is for sleeping, ok?" she nodded, as we continued to go to the next floor.

"Right this room is yours..." I opened the door it had a single bed, table with chair, a bookshelf combined with wardrobe, a one big set.

"the mirror is inside of wardrobe once open it..." I said before she can even ask, about it.

"and of course the doors on right inside this room is the bathroom, equipped with shower and bath..." she didn't ask instead she walked over and opened the door, the lights turned on, on its own.

"what's is a 'shower'?" I stared at her, she stared back at me, this is the moment I realised that the cultural gap between my world and her...

Moments like these, where I wish to share some of my old world miracles... like coke, jacuzzi, YouTube, and supermarkets.

Instead of answering, I showed to her instead, I walked in the bathroom, she followed after me.

"See those two Profound runes on the wall?" I pointed at the wall with several runes on the wall.

"the red one is for hot water, the blue one is cold water, and those two other ones are for power of water stream..." I send a wave of Profound energy into runes and water started coming from sealing...

"that is a 'shower'..." I said to her.

"it's fascinating, but why you don't use Profound energy to clean yourself up if you get dirty?" She asked the obvious... I could feel even Ying'er nodded inside the Pearl...

But at that time I looked at Cang Yue as if she is a heretic...

I sighed at her...

"Spending time in the shower, or even in the bath helps... one to relax, two, allows you to think, to get over things, and three... sometimes best of ideas come from relaxing in a bath..." like a certain philosopher who got eureka in Syracuse... and was running nȧkėd through streets...

"I See... Interesting... never thought about such benefits." I rolled my eyes

"and it's obviously not just simple water, Cang Yue, It's rich in Profound energy, as well as there are several types of herbs which can be used in the mix to get even more benefits..." I showed a storage area above a sink.

I took her back to the Living room.

"Now let's get some things down..." I said to her.

"do you have any clothing for battle?" She shook her head.

"I... Didn't though I need them..." She blushed as she's said that, I literally stroked my nose bridge hearing that.

"but you have a weapon right?" She nodded at my question and summoned a Chinese sword, on the thinner side, basically meant for the female hand.

"a true Profound one, not bad but we will get a better one, now follow me to my workshop I need to take your measurements." She nodded at me and followed to the workshop.

Her eyes instantly started to look at all sort of instruments hanging on walls, from hammers to saws, then she looked at another side where she saw few mannequin line up.

One of them was dressed up in the same battle robes just like I was wearing now.

Only that it had quite a bit of different runes and formation inside of it, a prototype of sorts...

"Right I will take your three sizes..." she instantly blushed up a storm finally getting at what's about to happen...

"Don't worry I don't need you to take your dress off..." She relaxed hearing that, I pulled out measurement tape, and did a quick measurement on her three sizes.

"now I need to know your favourite colour?" She looked at me weirdly as question was... well out of the blue, for her...

"it's blue I guess..." I rolled my eyes hearing that

"of course Blue Wind Princess, Blue Moon princess and all that..." I shook my head in amusement, Cang Yue blushed up a storm.

I didn't want to embarrass her any more than necessary, so after taking measurement on paper, we went back to the living room where Princess spotted a golden blond sitting woman in one of the sofas with a book on philosophy, in her hand, reading.

"master are you done with measurements? can we get to taste your heavenly cooking now?" Ying'er asked, I rolled my eyes, Is she the 'slave' or I am?!.

"fine, I was hungry anyway..." I said, with a shrug and went to change into more casual clothing...

Thus, leaving Princess, and 'Goddess' alone...

"well, Cang Yue we need to talk..."
