Chapter 39 - The Traumatize Ai Jia

"Emma, we are not having a well of money. This is the best that we can afford for your grandmother. Please do not offend your poor family here," Aunt Santi is reprimanding her niece about her question.

"Auntie do not be upset. I mean well as an unfilial granddaughter, I want to provide my grandmother with the best care. Can she be a move to the private room?" Emma is telling her aunty about her plan when she knows her husband will not feel good to stay in this cramp wardroom with all eyes on his back.

"ah… I thought you are going to flaunt your money in front of us. We are not asking you to come for your money," Aunt Santi is making her niece remembers about the ground rule of the family. Never ever base the family value on money. Emma remembers her mother value her family ground rule and teach her about it.

"okay only for this time. Next time you have to do it our way, understand!" Aunt Santi is giving into Emma persistent persuasion for moving the grandmother.

"thank you, aunty. my husband is going to take care of it," Emma is hugging her aunt with a warm gesture. She feels safe and at ease at the moment after all that happening with her life. She feels contempt for her life and is grateful for everything. However, She still needs to pay Luo Han Zheng betrayal with her adopted sister.

"Excuse me, Madame. What is the name of the patient?" Ai Jia is asking about grandmother name.

"Who is this handsome man, here?" auntie Santi is getting all workout from the young and handsome appearance from AI Jia.

"He is my husband assistant, and he will take care of Grandmother hospital administration. However, we need grandmother's name for beginning," Emma is remembering her auntie nature for a handsome man.

"How about this young mature lady is going to take you to the administration desk? Emma goes inside. your grandmother is waiting for on the corner bed," auntie Santi is grabbing Ai Jia arms and drag him to the administration table.

Emma is going to the ward toward the end of the room where her grandmother lay on the bed with the IV line on her arm. She looks older than her paternal Grandmother in C country.

"Nenek (Grandmother in Bahasa) how are you?" Emma holds her hand to ignite a happy look into her eyes.

"I am good. When are you coming? You do not need to come and visit this stupid lady in her death bed," Nenek is telling with her soft voice. Emma tears start to wheel up in her eyes to see her grandmother still alive. In the last life, Lin Yang poison her with the news about her maternal family want more money from her because they look at her as their money cash.

"Nenek, I miss you that is the reason I flew down here. Please let me introduce my husband," Emma is pulling Vito to come closer and introduce him to her grandmother.

"Why do you not let this old lady know about your marriage? Am I not worthy of your blessing?" Nenek is feeling wronged for her ignorance.

"It's not like that. We are having a flash wedding and not yet having any party. We will hold a grand wedding when Nenek will need to attend," Emma assures her grandmother for her word. Vito is standing behind his wife and put his arm behind her back to comfort her.

Out of a sudden, his phone is ringing so he excuses himself to be taking the call in the corridor.

It is the phone call from Andrea about all his schedule with the Alban royal family and the update for the Lu Xi case. The heir of Lim Corporation is washing his hand and putting the same announcement to blacklist Lu Xi for her unprofessional conduct.

Vito really can't proceed with the meeting when he has to be present and supporting his wife in the hospital. Andrea is doing as his boss instructed and end the connection with Vito. He is joining back his wife with her grandmother when the nurse comes back with her aunt and Ai Jia. It seems the timid AI Jia get pretty bad molested by Emma's aunty until he comes with a pale facial expression.

"We are going to move Madame Yulianti to the VVIP ward," the nurse is informing the family member.

"Your husband secretary not let me get a level lower than that. it is the most expensive level of the ward in this hospital which makes the price for hospitalization is getting expensive." Auntie Santi is complaining toward Emma which make her question herself after checking the traumatize Ai Jia.

"it's okay aunty. I can find the money but not grandmother health," Emma answers my aunty diplomatically. Emma feels remorse for AI Jia after went with her aunt.

"What happens?" Vito looks at his assistant expression still not recover from the effect.

"Boss, madame auntie is grabbing and touching my arse while she expresses her objection for moving the old lady to the most expensive room ward," AI Jia is reporting to his boss in a slow tone. No one ever molested him like that. it is not including some arm grabbing and hugging him on her arm as if they are a couple.

"Did she kiss you?" Vito is teasing his timid assistant.

"Boss… Do you want me to kill myself? For God's sake, she is way older than me," Ai Jia is telling his boss with unbelievable expression.

"Just let me know when you are going to kill yourself so I can train someone to take your post," Vito is telling him with a cold expression which makes Ai Jia expression more shocked to hear his boss expression. He wants to kill his boss at the moment to express the pain in his heart to know that his boss does not express an inch of sympathy expression on his pain.

"Do not listen to Vito. I am sorry for my aunty. I forget to let you know about her behaviour," Emma is hitting her husband about his remark to his assistant. She knows deep down her husband care about his assistant and will do everything to keep him on his side. it is not easy for him to find a loyal assistant after years of following him.

"Thank you, madame," Ai Jia spirits get lift up with the console from her lady boss.. Vito is smiling to see his wife decided to console his assistant pain as if her own staff.
