Chapter 90 - The Hearing In Mancuso Headquarter

They are arriving in the Rome airport where Vito takes Emma to the hotel in the downtown of Rome. It is belonged to the Man International Corporation.

The hotel is located inside the heritage building and listed as one of the ancient buildings by the government. Vito acquired it and turned it to one of five stars hotel with all the luxurious service and amenities.

The hotel located within walking distance to the shopping district and restaurant. It is also near to the famous Pantheon and Trevi fountain.

Vito is holding Emma in his hand and walking inside the hotel lobby. Ai Jia is going to the reception and get the keys for their room.

It is a penthouse with the view to the whole city of Rome. In this hotel, every room is preserving their baroque style with a modern and luxurious furniture. Emma is amazed to see the level of luxurious in this room.

"It seems this room is for president and important person," Emma is asking him after looking around the room.

"You are the most important person in my life. You are allowed to stay in this room. So what are you going to do now?" Vito is asking her plan.

"I am hungry, and I want to eat some Italian food. let's have some lunch together and you can go and do your work," Emma is holding his arm and try to lead their way back out from the hotel room.

"It will be fine by me. I will accompany you until late evening and I will have to do some work meeting outside. Do you mind about it?" Vito is asking her on their way to the restaurant for their lunch. Emma is shaking her head to answer her husband request.

He is taking her to the nearby Piazza for their lunch in the traditional Italian restaurant. They are having their local food for their lunch before Vito is preparing her medication. He still attentively preparing her medication.

Vito is taking Emma to walk around to the nearby tourist attraction. He is attentively spending time with her. they are eating an Italian gelato while walking around the Trevii Fountain.

They are watching the sunset in the Rome and Vito take her back to their hotel room. She is yawning and getting tired from all the walking. It is a good time for her husband to have his work meeting in the night while Emma can stay back in their hotel room.

Emma is going to take a shower before snuggling inside her bed. Li Na is going to stay on the living room to guard her bedroom while the bodyguards are staying outside the penthouse corridor.

"Do you book the whole floor?" Emma is looking at the enormous amount of the bodyguard outside their hotel room.

"I do not want something like last month happen again to you," Vito is replying her back. He is already change into his black business suit. He looks handsome and vicious with his outfit.

"are you going to work or dating? You look handsome with the outfit," Emma is looking at her husband from the bed. She is wearing a night gown and ready to snuggle under the blanket. The television in front of their King size bed already turns on.

"I am really working. Why should I go dating if I have my heart in here with you?" Vito is sitting on the side bed and kiss her so passionately.

"go. Ai Jia already knocked on our door," Emma is pushing back her husband from her lips. She did not want to part with him but his work also important.

"I will be back a little bit late. Order some dinner from the hotel and sleep. I have prepared your medication on the side table. Li Na is outside so she will check on your condition periodically. If you have anything pain or discomfort. Please call Li Na. she is a registered scrub nurse," Vito is caressing her cheek and reluctant to part with his wife.

"I know it. go!" Emma is telling her husband to go work. Vito is standing up and walk out from their hotel room. It is hard for him to leave her alone in the foreign country. If it is not to deal with the culprit who dare to hurt his wide. He would not want to leave her alone.

"Do not worry boss. I will put my life on the line to protect Madame," Li Na is promising her boss regarding their lady boss.

"Make sure to check her dinner for poison or drug. You have the tools, and the bodyguard is going to check for the cart. The special cutlery and dish already prepared in the dining area to serve her. Remember, If you make any other mistake then I will skin you alive and sell you to the cruise ship," Vito is telling her with his cold tone.

"Understand, boss! I am going to make sure everything," Li Na is answering her overprotective henpecked husband boss. She wants to laugh and cursing at the same time.

Vito is walking out to go to the airport before hop into his private jets to Malta airport where the headquarter located. The whole Mancuso staff and important people are lining up and bowing to him as soon as the car door is opening.

Vito is walking inside them headquarter to start for their public hearing of the mole inside their organization. If this kind of mistake keeps happening then there is not need of any rule.

He is walking inside their hall room which already set up wit a big screen on the wall and connected to the video call of their important person in other country who can't attend this meeting.

Vito never held such a grand meeting like this. It means something big happen and he needs to use his exclusive right to exercise his authority.

They are sitting in their sit after got sign from Vito who already sit down on the head of the table.

They are bringing Nobis, the mole inside their organization inside the meeting hall.  They place him in the middle of the room with his hand cuffed to his waist.

Andrea is talking in the meeting as usual when Vito is putting his hand together and closing his eyes. His facial expression grows darker by the minute of the meeting.

They are talking to each other regarding the person on the middle of the room. As they know Nobis really person who greed of money. They were not surprised when he got evicted by their boss.

They are even pushing the button guilty before the verdict or his guilty decision.

"Who ask you to do the job to kill my wife?" Vito is asking him coldly. He is wearing his black gloves on his hand.

"it does not violate the organization rule to tell the person who hire the hitman!" Nobis is asking him back. He knows well his life end tonight, so he does not want to open his mouth.

"Are you sure? I am still asking you nicely," Vito is asking him nicely.

"Who are you?" Nobis is asking him back to rebel for all his wrongdoing.

"Max!" Vito is sitting back and closing his eyes again.

Two burly man is coming near Nobis. They take off his sock and put a big thick nail to the middle of nobis' feet. There is a loud scream from his mouth before he passes out. The blood is kept oozing out from the wound.

They throw a bucket of cold water to wake him up.

"I ask you again. Who ask you to put the hitlist? It is not official on the organization logbook. It means this deal is under table!" Vito is telling him coldly.

"I am not telling you!" Nobis is keeping his mouth shut. Vito actually already has the proof from EXO regarding the payment into Nobis account.

"Max!" Vito is telling his subordinate again.

This time the burly man is nailing his hand cross to his shoulder. This time, Nobis can feel the excruciating pain come from the bone and flesh on his shoulder. The two-wound inflicted on his body make him suffer from the pain.

"Just kill me!" Nobis is screaming to them when the vote reach almost 98% to kill him. apparently, his under-table deal is a common think on the organization. If the client does not have the money to pay the legal price within the organization. They can pay the under-table rate which is cheaper.

"It is not easy. There is still a lot of point in your body which can inflicted the worst pain in the body. They will be piercing it through your flesh with the thick nail. What do you think?" Vito is giving signal to continue their torture into his body.

The burly man is getting closer to him. Nobis can't hold any longer with the pain.. These two nails already give him excruciating pain.
