Chapter 111 - The Earthquake

"Wait a second. Uncle is the head of Sun family?" Lin Yan did not believe about the fact regarding her sister husband wealth. The heaven is not fair at all when her sister gets the best tin her life while she has only a foreigner.

"not really any longer. It is already pass into A Man now who is the head of the Sun corporation and family. I already in my retirement and left to enjoy the life," Grandfather Sun is telling everyone.

"I will ask my brother in-law guidance then. I am the brand ambassador of the Sun corporation. Many of their product use my face as their ambassador," Lin Yan is informing him about the cooperation she has with the Sun Corporation.

"It is not under my hand. Andrea is responsible for all the operation in the Man Corporation. I am not into the operation anymore so I can't give my ten cents to the operation," Vito is turning her down in one sentence.

"Okay, enough. I will arrange auspicious day for your wedding. We will have a grand wedding soon for Lin Yan and Jack," Grandmother Lin is telling them.

"Stop it. do not be too ruthless toward her or she will put her fangs out," Emma is whispering to his ear. She is well verse of her sister character.

"I am sorry. I leave her for you to deal," Vito is answering softly to his wife.

"Thank you. I am tired…. Grandmother and Grandfather, I will go firs to the room. I am bit tired," Emma is excusing herself from the table. Vito is helping her toward her room before Grandmother and Grandfather are retreating into their room.

Jack is helping Lin Yan to get out from her seat and followed her into their room. Jack never sees such a luxurious room in his life. Mr Russo house also does not have this kind of luxurious stuff.

"Do you have any clothes with you?" Lin Yan is asking him before she is realising that the maid already placing his clothes in her closet.

"The maid is taking off my suitcase. I have to ask them regarding my clothes," Little Jack is going to the door direction before Lin Yan stops him.

"You have your clothes in here. The maid already unpacked your suitcase," Lin Yan is letting him know before he walks out the door.

"I am sorry. Everything is new for me. I have to learn a lot from you," Little Jack is embracing her from the back. Lin Yan is feeling warm and safe inside his body. She is resting her head to his shoulder.

"Why do you want to marry me?" Lin Yan is asking him.

"I am falling in love in first sight with you," Jack is answering her honestly before Lin Yan is turning here body and kiss him so passionately.

In Emma room, she is taking shower and getting ready to bed when Vito is still busy with his laptop. He has been playing with her the last few days so it means his work must be pilling up.

Emma is going to sleep after she makes call to the maid quarter to send some snack and black Italian coffee. At least, she can serve him some snack. 

It won't take long before the maid is bringing her request. Emma is going to get it for Vito and put it on the table.

"Why do not you wear any slipper?" Vito is looking at her who walking with bare foot. 

As soon as she put the tray down, Vito is sweeping his wife into his arm. He really does not like to see her without any shoes.

He puts her down inside their bed and tuck her under the blanket.

"Sleep!" he is giving her a kiss before back to his desk and work until dawn start to creep into their window.

Vito is closing his laptop and join his wife inside their bed. He managed to finished half of the job for two days. He also put in the plan for Lin Yan to push her into marriage with Jack.

Sun An is laughing to see Vito's back to the country and bringing the stupid Jack to the C city. He even takes him as his brother in-law. 

His plan to take reign in the C city almost one hundred per cents. He is looking at his opponent who is not doing anything and he is enjoying his live leisure.

Vito is only an empty vessel and Sun An already learn everything about him. his reputation does not match with the reality.

Sun An is sitting on his family room and enjoying his old whisky. Mimi is sitting on the ground naked with her hand on his lap. She already changes into a submissive pet for Sun An.

He has broken her psychology until she is changing into a living doll and submissive into every word come from Sun An. 

He pets her hair with his hand to show his love. Mimi is sitting without expression on the ground.

After he read the last message on his phone, he is walking to his room. Mimi is following him to the bedroom to serve him.

In the afternoon, Emma is waking up after the phone keep ringing. It is the hospital number.

"Emma is speaking," she is talking with her hoarse voice.

"this is Nurse Jiang. Please come to hospital. We do need you to help out with the earthquake victim from the mountain outside the capital. We really need a lot of doctors. We are waiting for you," Nurse Jiang is informing her before ending the phone.

"Who is calling?" Vito is asking without even opening his eyes.

"The hospital. There is an earthquake victim flying through to hospital. We have to help out," Emma is sitting up on the bed.

"Tell them to send the victim to the Man hospital," Vito is getting his phone and calling his nephew to ask him. He is shouting out of his lungs because the hospital already full of patient. They are full capacity with the patient. 

The Man hospital even have to reject patient with non-threatening sickness.

Vito is in trance to hear such tragedy happening near the capital. In his memory, C city never had an earthquake.

He is making a quick call to max when Emma is in the bathroom.

"Make an investigation regarding the earthquake," Vito is telling Max regarding the earthquake. His instinct told her regarding the whole situation.

Max is understanding and dispatching his subordinate to check about the whole situation. They are the best people in investigation.

Vito is joining his wife into the shower and changing to his casual clothes. He is driving his wife to the hospital and help her to save the patient.

"You are going to become my assistant and Li Na is going to become our scrub nurse. There is no but if you still want to save someone," Vito is laying his rule to his wife. 

"But I am under Professor Lim team. How do you going to change those?" Emma is complaining to her husband.

"I will take care of it. You do not need to worry about it," Vito is helping her to his office and change into scrub uniform.

They are going to the neurology department and pick up one of the patients before start to enter the operation theatre to save the life.

Vito impeccable skill make them save numerous patients in the hospital with the shortest time possible. However, Vito keeps checking into his wife condition. He did not want her to get to tired.

They are moving in and out the operation theatre to sort out the patient. After a while, the condition already settled down. They are sitting down in the doctor room.

Everyone is sitting down as their energy got drain by the wave of patient. They are even laying down on the ground. They are not able to lift their limb after a while.

Emma is falling to sleep on the thigh of Vito. She really can't feel her limb any longer. It seems today work to save people life equal with Vito's work on their bed.

Vito is getting some water from Ai Jia. Li Na also sitting down on the sofa with her energy drain. Max is coming to help her to get some energy. 

"Boss, we find the reason for the earthquake," Max is reporting his finding to his boss.

"What it is?" Vito is looking at him.

"Someone blows the core in the mountain and create the man-made earthquake. The mud is sliding down to the village. We have our project in the mountain and the government will pointing his finger to us," Max is whispering to his boss ear.

"Get Andrea to tackle the issue and give out a public relation. AI Jia compensate all the victim for their lost," Vito is instructing his assistant for all the problems arise for this.. They have to move first to avoid the mishap happen a bit later.
