Chapter 62 The breaks

Jamie was dressed in shorts and a crop top and after combing her hair she came down. She was still dazed, her heart beating fast as her intuitions said that something was definitely wrong. She almost missed a step on the stairs and was about to fall but fortunately Charles saw her and caught her in time "What has happened to you, where are you lost."

She looked into Charles's eyes worried "I don't know I just have a bad feeling about this trip and I don't feel like going."

Charles made her sit on the sofa and sat besides her on the floor knelling on both his knees, he held Jamie's face in his hand "You just had to tell me, I will cancel on them, not a big deal." he smiled and took out his phone and as he was about to call Jamie snatched it out of his hands "No don't, Jordan was really excited, he will be upset so we should better go."

"Are you sure."

Jamie smiled and giving him a hug she said "As long as you are by my side, I don't fear anything."

He got up and held her hands "Alright then enough of this, they will be here any minute so before that you need to finish with your breakfast."

Jamie nodded and sat on the table, while they were having the breakfast Jamie took a large bite of her food which was stuck to the side of her lips. Charles was sitting just next to her and he giggled "You are such a clumsy eater."

She looked at him angrily and gave him a punch on his arm "How dare you say that." but Charles caught her wrist and moved closer to her "You dare hit me."

Jamie blushed and moved a little back "You... You... Let go of my hand."

As she tried to free her hand he pulled her closer and held her waist "You are too irresistible." he kissed her lips and then forced his tounge inside her mouth making her blush deeply. They were so engrossed in the kiss that they didn't notice anyone enter but their PDA was being witnessed by Jordan, James and Daisy and a very tense atmosphere surrounded them.

Jordan could not tolerate it so he finally spoke "Doing all this in broad daylight without finishing your breakfast, you must be very desperate my dear friend."

Jamie quickly drew herself back with her cheeks all red, Charles was disheartened for being interrupted and gave a scaring look to Jordan so he sat on the farthest sofa.

Jamie got up "We are almost finished with the breakfast, let's go."

They cleared the table and went out to the car. They enjoyed playing games and shouting all the way to the restaurant where they were supposed to meet Rachel.

At the restaurant she was already waiting and they ordered some food. Rachel excused herself to the washroom and went outside where the mechanic was already waiting for her. She went to him and handing him the money she pointed to their car "Cut the breaks of that car."

He nodded and did his work before going away and Rachel went inside to the table.
