13 Stop Looking At My Breas

July 6, 20xx

Paris, France

Outside the bedroom, Li Jie shook his head in amusement and headed to the kitchen.

'I need to feed my wife.' he thought.

He opened the fridge and when he saw there was nothing in it except eggs, pepper, tomatoes and eggplants, he sighed.

'This will make do.' he reminded himself this was not his kitchen.

He took the vegetables out and put them on the kitchen island before checking out if there was cooked rice.

After washing his hands for 30 seconds, he started slicing the eggplant into medium size strips and rinsed them. Next, he placed them in a bowl and added a dab of salt and let it sit on the counter as he chopped the bell pepper and onions and minced the garlic and ginger.

Then he took the wok, added oil and waited for it to heat well before frying the soaked eggplant.

When it was completed, he remove the oil and sauteed garlic, ginger and bell pepper. When the aroma from the spices wafted in the air, he mixed in the fried eggplants and added light soy sauce, vinegar and a pinch of sugar.

Seeing the liquid was absorbed by the eggplants, he transferred them into the white plate.

There was a low 'tsk' sound when there was no scallion to garnish the Hong shao qie zi(1).

In the same skillet, he added minced onions, garlic before adding two small bowls of rice. While letting the spices be absorbed by the rice, he scrambled two eggs on a bowl and put in a pinch of salt and pepper. He then poured this over the rice and mixed them all together.

Yan Shi who came out five minutes ago, watched him skillfully make his way in the kitchen and felt tightness in her heart. This is the first time someone cooked for her aside from her mother.

The man called out when he took notice that she was standing by the doorway.

"Let's eat."

He set two plates opposite with each other and served the fried rice and the eggplant dish.

Yan Shi took the utensils and glasses of water.

The aroma of food was salivating that she took a bite the moment she sat down.

She took a bite of the food and she uttered the word 'yum' as she chewed it slowly inside her mouth, savoring the taste. The eggplant was coated with rich flavoring that came from the combination of soy sauce and other spices he added. It was so delicious that she was unable to restrain herself from eating more.

Sensing something wasn't right, she looked up and noticed he hasn't even lifted his chopsticks. His eyes were on a certain part of her body.

Instantly, she crossed her arms to cover her front and asked in an angry tone.

"What are you doing?"

The man never took his eyes off and answered casually "Looking at your chest."

Impulse told her to hit him because of his frank answer but she held herself.

Wrinkles.

She reminded herself.

"Stop looking at my breast."

That was the only time, he glanced up to meet her eyes and bluntly said, "Why? They are a nice pair."

Then, grinned from ear to ear.

That irritating arc on his lips made her lose her composure and it resulted to hurling the table napkin at him.

"Pervert"

He jerked to avoid getting hit and his amused laugh was heard.

"Only to you wife. Only you." he said sincerely.

After dinner, the two cleaned up everything. When Yan Shi saw the clean counter where he prepared food, she heaved a sigh.

Why does it seemed that he never used the counter at all?

In her case, the kitchen would have the appearance of being hit by a tornado once she finished cooking.

When Yan Shi saw the prompt 'Registration Completed', she gave out a smile.

'Step three, check.'

By the time she accomplished the task of replying to all the responses she's getting on her newly created travel blog, dusk has settled in, creating that beautiful hue that engulfs the city.

She hurriedly changed her clothes to a classic blue button-up shirt dress and paired them with white sneakers before taking brown shoulder bag and left the room.

She wanted to go strolling through the Parisian streets especially at the banks of Seine where she and her mother would wander at in search for a beautiful spot for Laura Ricci to paint.

The man on his laptop in the living room lifted his head the moment he heard the door opening.

She appeared to be going out and that possessive streak in him revolted upon seeing her ensemble. He groaned. She shouldn't go out unaccompanied with that super short clothing.

As she was leaving, she sensed the man behind. Suddenly, his arm was on her back as they entered the elevator.

She stepped forward in the effort to get away but he was tightly holding her waist.

She raised her elbow to his side but his quick reflexes blocked it in seconds.

"What are you doing?" she gazed up angrily. With his height, she seemed to be short, even if she's 5'7.

He simply smiled at her, slouched on her side and watched as the numbers changed on the monitor.

"Let it go." she warned as his arm locked her tighter.

But the man paid no heed to her warning. Unfazed, he leaned closer and placed his chin on her shoulders making her smell his masculine scent that was so addicting.

"Wife, let me accompany you, okay?" his bewitching voice sounded too close to her ears and the heat spraying on her face made her blush and unable to refute.

Catching a glimpse of that flustered face, his eyes glittered with mischief.

Shortly after, he gave her a peck on the cheek, startling the woman.

When the sound of opening doors was heard, he straightened up and Yan Shi took advantage of it to move away from his grasp. Opportunity rose and she stepped on his foot with force.

She marched out in anger and left the man clutching his stomach in laughter and in pain.

His wife is really feisty.
