The Maybach navigated through the palm tree-lined road on its way to the waterfront resort perched on a cliff. While the two people in front were marveling on the striking blueness of the ocean as though inviting them for a dip under this hot temperature, Nick was pondering on certain things.
There's uncertainty in him if he should divulge Blythe's illness to his family or not.
His grandparents are a strong proponent of honesty. After their discovery of Li Hong's abusive antics when Nick was young, they made sure their grandchildren tell them whatever they are going through. Although he lied about how he and Blythe's relationship started, this one is entirely different. Not informing them will especially hurt his grandmother once she discovers it.
Furthermore, they both needed his family's moral support.
However, it might be a reason for her grandmother to insist on what she wanted. After all, Trinette treated Blythe lukewarmly. He tried talking to the old woman before they left Montenegro but she intentionally avoided being alone with him.
On top of that, he didn't want his wife to be worried about his family's approval of her. That being the case, he settled on keeping a tight lid of it for now.
Blythe squinted when she heard him sigh.
"What's wrong?"
He shook his head and smiled as playfully pinched the bridge of her nose. Whatever thing that was bothering him previously, dissipated.
"Stop it."
She moved away from his arms and coiled her loosened hair to a bun. In her head, she was thinking of asking her husband what was bothering him. The moment she closed her eyes, she sensed he's worried about something.
But, the two people on the front seat were stopping her from prodding.

"Update me later." Nick reminded Luo Shen before he got off the car.
The latter nodded and watched them take the entrance leading to a private house on one side of the property.
"It's treatable." Luo Shen gave out the answer even without hearing the question Bai Xiao Wen was about to ask.
Nick's man turned to him in surprise.
"How did you know?"
"Sixth sense," he said without mentioning to him that his movements earlier mirrored what was on his thoughts.
Bai Xiao Wen sighed in relief.

The couple entered the two bedroom house. What caught Blythe's attention instantly was the unobstructed view of the ocean from where she was standing. Like a child, she sprinted to one side of the glass walls that surrounded the whole residence, completely forgetting the pain of being punctured in her pelvis.

She opened the sliding door and stepped on the shaded open deck, barefoot. On her left was a lounge area and her right was a rectangular pool and sun beds. Ignoring the lure of the sea, Blythe padded on the floor, approaching the glass railings and inhaled the sea breeze. There were both lightness and happiness in her heart. These past days, it felt like she was living in a twilight zone. She was worried sick that he will never accept her once he knows her illness. Yet, in a streak of luck, she was married to a wonderful man who was willing to ride this roller coaster with her.
Her hopes of getting cured became stronger because of him.
Whatever it takes, she wants to live.
A warm body enveloped her. She reached the arms that were on her neck and held on to it and they both gazed on the view up front quietly.
When the sight of his 40-meter yacht anchored at the small marina below them came to view, she inquired, "Why Destiny?"
Its name was boldly printed in red on the boat's hull. She found it surprising as historically speaking, most boats are named after women.
'Ex-girlfriend?' she surmised.
"My ex-girlfriend's name."
"Oh yeah?" she quipped knowing that he was simply teasing her.
He laughed at her and responded, "Actually, I bought the yacht from my grandfather. He had this boat customized for my grandmother. When they first met, she was called Destiny."
"Oh, why did they sell it?"
"After grandma's heart attack, they never used it. So I made the offer. It's been with me for a year and just thought of keeping the name as it is."
"It's beautiful," she commented. It sounded like her appreciation came too late because she'd been on the boat for more than a week yet she never voiced out how she felt every time she looks at it.
"It is. I am going to rename it."
"Really? What would it be?"
"Secret," he said with a grin.
Blythe was silent with his answer. She had a conjecture but shoved it off somewhere her brain, not wanting to get ahead.
A minute later, he broke the quietness by mentioning "Let's have our wedding here."
"Are you proposing?" she joked.
"Yes," he replied instantly.
"So unromantic,"
"Let's go to the bedroom, I'll show you what's romantic."
Blythe blushed and her instant reaction was to nudge her elbow to his stomach. But this was nothing to him for his laughter wafted in the open space.
