Yan Cheng replied, “My eyelids are twitching.”

Truth be told that men’s instinct was like a dog’s nose. They could keenly dig underground and find the dog bone easily.

Chen Jinyao didn’t know if this analogy made sense or not.

But when the class monitor sent her a message, she became speechless. Even more, she remained silent to Yan Cheng making trouble for no reason.

Class monitor: this is the class assistant’s WeChat. He’s going to pick you guys up from the airport.

Chen Jinyao: it’s fine. I’m familiar with Shanghai.

Class monitor: it just so happens that he’s going to pass the airport. There are some people that are just coming today too. Their flights are earlier than yours.

The class assistant helped her a lot when she just entered college.

He was a year older than her and a gentleman.

Because she was the class commissary like he was, they needed to communicate frequently. The two had interacted quite a bit. After a while, the original body’s roommate even asked her if she was with the class assistant.

From Chen Jinyao’s expression, Yan Cheng could guess what happened. While feeling proud about his observational skills, he didn’t forget to darken his face in order to express his feelings. But when he talked, he acted like a generous man.

He slightly furrowed his brows and then kept quiet.

He glanced at the view outside but his inner dialogue inside was very childish.

“He’d only know to retreat after seeing it personally for himself!”

“Even if she adds him, she could still delete him!”

The weather became warm. Yan Cheng remained expressionless and suddenly realized that he also felt restless.

He shifted his gaze to look at Chen Jinyao. “Is this person…”

Before he could finish, Chen Jinyao seemed to have read through his mind and nodded. “I think so.”

“…” Yan Cheng’s heart felt heavy.

But quickly, he recovered his expression.

He actually knew it himself. He didn’t need to be scared of the guy. He didn’t need to.

They were incredibly bored at the lounge room in the airport.

Chen Jinyao greeted the class assistant and then told him about how long they were going to stay in Shanghai and whatnot. After that, they stopped talking.

To speak the truth, one could feel the awkwardness seeping through the screen.

She sighed deeply. “If I knew it earlier, I should’ve persisted and refused to come to this class reunion.”

Yan Cheng had already adjusted to this. He lifted his chin and asked, “Why should we reject this class reunion? Had I known earlier, I should’ve brought some sweets to give to your classmates.”

She thought about this momentarily.

Chen Jinyao came to a decision. “Why don’t we take a picture?”

“I want to upload a picture to my friend circle before boarding the plane.”

She rarely posted in her friend circle.

She also set it so that people in her friend circle could see her posts from the last three days.

The most recent one was the time she received roses and money in May.

The suitcases were sent to be checked through. Cheng Jinyao pulled Yan Cheng and said, “Let’s go to a place with good lighting.”

The huge French window was behind them, revealing the blue sky and white clouds.

The background was of a Donghang passenger plane.

Chen Jinyao found a good spot and lighting, raising her phone.

Meanwhile, Yan Cheng stood behind her and allowed her to do whatever she wanted silently.

The two had a distinct height difference.

When Chen Jinyao said “hey, look at the camera,” Yan Cheng slowly moved his legs apart and bent down so that he could be the same height as Chen Jinyao. Then, he said behind her ears, “Okay.”

The man wore a gentle expression and his eyes were spirited, his lips slightly curled up.
