9 C9 : Tony's Rescue

"What the f*uk!" Nick screamed when he saw his third eye.

It had the black sclera like his other eyes but the pupil was red with a black iris, 'Is this the same eye from Tokyo Ghoul?' Nick asked himself in his head.

"What's 'Tokyo Ghoul'?" Peter asked Nick.

"Huh, I didn't say that out loud, how did... I have telepathy now." Nick told Peter, "Ok, think of something and I'll try and read your mind."

"Ok ... (Can you hear me, umm, my favourite colours are red and blue.)" Peter said inside his head.

"Your favourite colours are red and blue ... so I can read mind's as well as telepathy, but it looks like it's only when I activate my third eye." Nick said as he looked at the red veins spreading out from his third eye.

Nick then willed the eye to close and it soon did, the red veins also disappeared.

"That's cool." Peter said as watched Nick's new eye close.

"Thanks." Nick replied as he looked down at the dried blood on all his wrists and tail.

He one of his hands closer to his eye and saw lots of tiny little barbs on his finger tips, "Hey, check your finger tips, mine have little barbs on them." Nick said to Peter.

"Barbs?" Peter said looking down at his hand, "Your right, I have them too... isn't that how spiders climb walls?" Peter said looking back to Nick.

"Try it out." He said as he pointed at one of his walls that had nothing on it.

Peter nodded his head to Nick and then walked up to the wall placing his hands on it, he felt that his hand was stuck and that he had to use some force to pull it away.

"I stick to the wall!" Peter shouted excitedly as he turned back to Nick.

"Well go ahead, try and climb the wall." Nick said as he rubbed his wrists, they were starting to hurt, the same with his tail.

Peter turned back to the wall and placed his hand back on it and then his feet, he was soon walking up the walk and hanging upside down on the ceiling.

"Hahaha, check this out, I'm walking on the ceiling." Peter said as he stood up onNick's ceiling, raising his hands to celebrate and that's when one of his wrists shot out a white web that stuck to the floor.

"I can shoot webs as well! How did I do that." Peter said as he dropped off the ceiling, flipping and landing on the floor upright.

Peter then started making different hand signs, trying to shoot his web with each one.

Nick just walked up to Peter and showed him the hand sign, flexing his wrists which made a black web shoot from his wrist.

Peter followed what Nick did making another web shoot from his wrist, "How did you know how to shoot the web?" Peter asked Nick as he frowned.

"I saw you do it of course, if you haven't noticed already but we have heightened senses now." Nick lied but told Peter about the heightened senses to distract him from guessing the truth.

While Peter was trying out his new abilities Nick went back to looking at his wrists, even after he shot his web his wrists still hurt and so he tried to release that pain by flexing his hands.

Which release the black stingers from all his wrists, they looked just like his tail stinger but they were completely black.

'This is just like scarlet spider.' Nick thought to himself as he looked at his four new stingers.

Peter finally looked back at Nick and saw his new stingers, "Wow, you have some new stingers now and there black, that's bada**!" Peter shouted when he saw them.

"Did your tail stinger change as well?" Peter asked as he walked over.

"I don't know, let's see." Nick then released the stinger from his tail.

It was now also completely black, "Yeah, it also changed, it's also black now." Nick said to Peter as he returned all the stingers to their homes.

The pain in has wrists and tail now gone.

"I'll see if I can do that was well." Peter said as he tried to release a stinger from his wrist.

"You probably don't have any, the spider bite affected me differently then it did you, I'm a mutant after all." Nick tried to explain to Peter.

"Oh, ok." Peter said disappointed as he stopped trying to release stingers from his wrist.

"Here this might cheer you up." Nick said as he released his tails stinger again, he them used it to attack Peter at his chest.

Peter felt the hair and skin all over his body tingle like someone had walked across his grave.

He felt the danger approaching from his front as well, so on reflex he jumped backwards, landing on the wall behind him.

"What the hell was that for Nick!" Peter shouted at Nick as he jumped down from the wall.

"Peter my tail is very, very fast, there's no way you could have dodged that unless you knew that it was going to happen." Nick said as he put his tail stinger back, Peter just made a confused face.

"Hah, don't you remember the spider that had such a quick nerve system that it seemed to have precognition." Nick explained.

"So that feeling I had was the precognition warning me of your attack, a spider sense." Peter said with a thinking face, hand to his chin.

"That's right, now your getting it." Nick said as he patted Peter on his back.

"Now follow me, we're going to test are new strength." Nick then lead Peter out of his room, too his gym.

But before he was able to open the gym door, his mother, Jennifer walked down the corridor towards his room.

"Nick, there you are, where have yo-" Jennifer then stopped in her tracks, she was staring up at Nick's forehead.

"You have horns... why do you have horns?" Jennifer asked a little lifeless.

"Umm, I think I had a growth spurt and more of my latent mutant genes manifested themselves last night, in the form of these horns." Nick said as he tried to bluff his way through it.

Life returned to her eyes and she said, "Oh, I see, haha. I guess I worried for nothing." She then continued walking down the corridor, " You two don't be late for school now."

"She's right, we have school, if people suddenly see me with all this muscle they will be asking questions I just can't answer, the same for you and your horns and third eye." Peter said worryingly.

"Don't worry we'll stop off at a store and get you some baggy clothes and me a head band or something for my third eye, nothing I can do about my horns though." Nick said trying to calm Peter down.

"We should do that now, we'll test are strength after school just be careful when you handle thing's or you might break everything you touch." Nick then walked back into his room and changed into his biggest clothes, with his new hight, his other clothes barely fit him.

It was the black longline sleeveless t-shirt he was wearing when he went to Egypt with May and Peter, but now it was tight fitting, instead of the loose fit it was before.

It showed off his ten-pack abs and muscular arms and back, when he noticed that Nick's first thought was that he could tease May even more easily now.

And he then put on some black harem pants with a large dark blue waist band and dark blue bandages wrapped around his calf's, it had a hole in the back for his tail.

And then the normal black military boots.

"You ready to go." Peter called from the corridor.

"Yeah let's go." Nick said back as he put a hand on Peter's shoulder, teleporting them away.

...Shopping Mall...

They had just bought Peter some new baggy clothes so that he could hide his new muscles.

And they were now looking for something that could cover Nick's third eye.

"Nick, what about this?" Peter said holding up a black bandana.

Peter then passed the bandana to Nick and he then looked it over.

'This reminds me of Roronoa Zoro's black bandana, all I need now is some Japanese swords.' Nick thought to himself.

"Who's Roronoa Zoro?" Peter asked Nick.

"Huh... did I just use telepathy without realising again?" Nick asked Peter as he turn the camera on his phone on so that he could look at himself, it showed his third eye closed but the red veins were there.

"Yeah you did, and you didn't answer my question." Peter said to Nick, trying to force an answer out of him.

"He was a Japanese Swordsman who was known to wear a black bandana whenever he fought seriously." Nick told Peter.

Peter was using his new hearing to listening to Nick's heart beat to see if anything changed to the regular beat and when nothing did he let it go.

Peter was doing this because Nick had been acting weird whenever he asked certain questions about things like how he knew different things, like with the spider bite.

Nick then focused his third eye again so that he wasn't talking into someone else's head again, and when it was off he sighed in his mind, 'Peter is just to smart for his own good, I need to watch what I let slip from now on.'

Nick then paid for the black bandana and teleported away from the shop with Peter, leaving the person at the register praying to god, praying that the blue devil that just left didn't leave with his soul.

...Midtown High School...

Nick had just teleported them directly into the classroom because they were running a bit late and so the people already in the classroom were surprised when a large cloud of red smoke suddenly appeared in the middle of the room.

"Sorry we're late Sir." Peter said to the Teacher who was sitting at his desk, read an old Captain America comic to pass the time until homeroom started.

"That's alright, the bell hasn't gone yet, just get to your desk." He said quickly and then looking right back down at his comic.

Peter nodded his head and went to sit down at his desk, Nick followed but he couldn't help but feel a slight tingle going across his skin and so looked around the room and saw that everyone was looking right at his head.

"They growed bigger over night, they have always been there you just wouldn't have seen them because they were so small." Nick said calmly and with a no-nonsense tone so that they would understand why he would suddenly have horns on his head.

Some of the students just nodded to them self's and look away again to continue what they were doing, but Nick could still feel looks being pointed his way during the lesson.

'Maybe I should take a selfie and post it saying that my horns finally grow out or something so people won't keep being surprised.' Nick thought to himself, his Instagram was now the most followed account on the app so if he did post everyone would know.

...End of school day...

"I'll see you later Nick." Peter said as he walked away from the school with Ned beside him.

'Don't tell anyone about your new abilities if you don't want to end up a lab rat, not even May.' Nick said directly into Peter's mind, Peter stopped. his his tracks and turned around to face Nick but he had already teleported away.

...Nick's Room...

Nick had just teleported away from school, leaving Peter with one last warning about who he revealed his powers too.

He dropped his stuff off in his room and then teleported right to his mother when found her with his Byakugan.

"Mom, I'm going to got get uncle Tony. I love you." Nick said right after he teleported next to her.

"Wai-" She tried to say but Nick had already teleported away again.

"Be careful..." She said to no one.

...Afghanistan...

Nick had just teleported straight to Afghanistan right after saying goodbye to his mother just in case something went wrong, but it was very unlikely with his Byakugan and spider sense's.

He teleported right on top of mountain that was close to where Tony was kidnapped.

Nick spent two hours teleporting from mountain to mountain in hopes that he would find the right one, the one where the Ten Rings had Tony kept.

It was getting close to the third hour when a great big fireball appeared between two mountains and a flying man quickly came shooting out of said fireball, smoke trialling behind him.

"That's him!" Nick shouted out when he saw his uncle, who was about to taking a nose dive into the dessert sands.

Nick quickly teleported right next to his plummeting uncle, and when he did appear next to him he used his lightning fast tail to grab on to him.

"Uncle Tony!"

"Nick! What the hell are you doing here!" Tony screamed back as they were still heading for the ground.

"We can talk later! Let's land first!" Nick said as he teleported them above the ground.

Nick used his body to cushion the rest of the blow for his uncle.

His body could take a beating after he got the spider bite and so this was equal to a scratch.

"Urr, Nick, are you ok? Nick!" Tony shouted as he rolled off Nick.

"Arr, stop shouting! I'm not deaf." Nick said as he crawled out of the hole he made on landing.

"Are you ok? You shouldn't have taken the fall for me, the suit could have taken it." Tony said as he started to take off the remains of his suit.

"Don't worry, my bodies stronger then you think." He said as he brushed the sand from his clothes.

"Well you still shouldn't hav-" Tony stopped talking all of a sudden.

"What was that, you suddenly stopped talking." Nick said looking up at his uncle.

"You have horns. You. Have. F*cking. Horns!" Tony screamed out as he quickly tried to shack off the rest of his suit.

"Huh, oh yeah, I guess I'm not used to them yet." He said as he put one of his hand's up to his horns, "Yeah, I grew some horns while you were kidnapped, that's why I couldn't come get you right away, I was bed ridden growing these," he said as he pointed to his horns with his top hands, "And these." All four of his hands then released their stingers.

Tony was shocked by this but didn't think more of it, he just thought that it was his nephew's mutant abilities growing.

"Now, that is cool." Tony said as he patted Nick on his shoulder.

"Hahaha~ thanks, now let's get you home, mom's really missed you."
