103 Chapter 103: Yours?

Loving can only hurt a person. Giving all your heart to someone for it to be broken is stupid right?

It breaks our delicate heart into tiny crumbles just like how Hazel watched Usui's heartbreak into pieces.

But, for some reason, Hazel couldn't wipe away his anguished face from her mind. It was like she did some sin that she would not be able to change in the future. She couldn't wipe away the guilt that accompanied her for lying and breaking his heart just because she didn't want to change.

She didn't want her time to move. It was frozen that night and she thought it was best that way. She had enough with one memory which would haunt her for the rest of her life.

But, Why is her heart hurting too? Why didn't it like what she did?

...

"You shouldn't let the past ruin you, Freya"

Hazel opened her eyes and released him. She smiled as she looked away from him and murmured, "I don't... my future was already ruined that night, Jinha. I shouldn't even think about love, Jinha."

She looked at him. Her emerald eyes sparkled making Jinha's heart wince.

"That's my punishment, Jinha."

Jinha caught her arms as he shook her and said agitatedly, "It is not. You were young, Freya. You can't blame yourself for that night."

The smile disappeared from her face as she said softly, "I was naive and that was exactly why it happened."

"He wouldn't like this... if he was alive, all he would have wanted was for you to be happy."

She mumbled, "But he isn't, right?"

Silence descended upon them as they heard the wind howl in their ears. Hazel sighed before looking up and said, "It's fine this way, Jinha. I'm happy."

Jinha scowled, "Don't lie, Freya. Why do you look like you are at your breaking point then?"

Hazel touched her face in shock and asked, "Do I?"

Jinha sighed as he looked at her. That funny, witty, brave, innocent, and cute girl was nowhere to be seen since that night. It was like even though she was saved, her soul had completely left her leaving behind a shell.

Jinha shook his head and told, "Try giving him a chance when you are ready, Freya. Please, for me?"

Hazel stared at him silently as Jinha patiently waited for her to respond. Smiling slightly, Hazel teased, "Why do I feel that you love him and want me to reject him so that you can take over later?"

Jinha widened his eyes in shock before gritting his teeth. He raised his hand to hit her when he heard her chuckle softly. He rolled his eyes as he snorted, "Even if I had to fall for a guy, I would never fall for that idiot."

" And, yet you want me to give him a chance."

Jinha nodded as he said, "Yes because that idiot would make you happy."

Hazel knitted her brows as if asking, 'When did he make me happy?'

Someone behind them asked, "If you guys are done, Can we go out?"

Hazel and Jinha turned around and saw everyone gathered together and looking at her hopefully. A smile graced her face when she saw them waiting for her answer. Their eyes held worry for her.

She shook her head slightly at her friends, 'She had them and that's all she needed. Asking for too much, isn't it being too greedy?'

Ren looked at her excitedly as he pleaded, "Come on princess, let's go fill our tummies."

She laughed as she nodded her head.

Jinha smiled widely and held her hand pulling her along with him as they made their way out the building. Instantly her friends surrounded her, chattering endlessly.

Hazel's eyes lingered on his hand before it slowly shifted to his broad back.

She apologized mentally, 'Im sorry, Jinha. I'm sorry for using you.'

Her eyes shifted to her friends who were having fun chatting with each other. She felt Liz and Reya wrap their arms around her shoulders as they giggled.

'Love, huh?'

....

Stella hastened her speed as she rushed downstairs looking around for the cold guy. She bit her lip angrily as she failed to find him. Enraged, she stomped her foot on the ground like a helpless kid. Her eyes swept through the crowd as she exclaimed, "Geez... just how fast was this guy!"

She bit her lip wistfully as she mumbled profusely, "Couldn't he be a little nicer?"

She exhaled seeing no trace of him. She turned around and was about to leave when she heard some girl say Loki. She knitted her brows as she glanced at the crowd through the corner of her eyes. She tapped her foot as she hesitated to head over or not but eventually curiosity took over her.

She approached them and stood behind a wall as she tried to eavesdrop on them.

A woman within the group blurted, "That guy is so ruthless. I didn't think he could get even worse than the already existing rumors."

Another woman nodded her head as she added, " I heard he slammed the silver mages guy into the wall and made his thing break. Wasn't it too brutal of him?"

Stella's eyes instantly grew colder as she understood what they were talking about. She should have just left before!

A guy suddenly yapped, "Yeah.. he not only did break his arms, he even broke his ribs and .... Anyway the principal's guy is in a coma. They said they have no hope in saving him."

Another guy sniggered, "Tch, Loki sure is brave. Isn't he worried about getting expelled?"

"Ah! he doesn't have to be. After all, he was the prince of Lunora. His father would protect him unlike the rest of us."

But another girl lowered her voice as she said, "But doesn't his father hate him? I heard he had suffered under them and that he came here to escape them."

The guy scoffed, "Hahaha... serve him right. I always hated his arrogant cold self."

Stella had her hand over his mouth as her eyes widened in shock. She remembered the cold handsome guy and wondered how his family could hate him. She clenched her fists as she heard that mocking laughter from those imbeciles.

Before she stepped out, the next sentence made her pause, "Did you know? He did all that for a girl. I heard she is an angelic beauty."

The girls snorted, "Even if she is a beauty, what use is there? she must have been damaged by those guys."

"I heard Loki saved her just in time."

The guy sniggered, "Bah! I can't believe that guy. He saved her just so he could get his hands on the beauty."

Anger fueled in her body as Stella heard those unjust remarks. How dare they malign her handsome's reputation. Her eyes narrowed at them as she tightened her hand into fists.

She marched towards them and stood before them with folded hands. She looked down at them disgustedly as she said, "I never thought the students of Royal Mages could be so immoral. Don't you guys feel any shame for accusing someone?"

The students jumped in panic when they were caught but when they looked at the person, they were stunned. They blinked as they gazed at the beauty in front of them.

One of the girls gritted her teeth hatefully when she saw the guys stunned by this bitch. Her eyes suddenly brightened when she noticed her hair, "Wait, aren't you the girl from Silver Mages?"

The guys asked shocked, "What?"

The girl smirked, "I'm sure she is the one. I heard the girl had silver hair."

Stella tilted her head at the girl. She scoffed as she had seen many shameless bitches back in the academy. Remembering how they slandered Loki, her eyes narrowed as she glared at them murderously.

"Take it back."

A shiver went down their spines when they heard the warning in her voice, "Huh?"

Stella insisted, "Take it back. Take whatever you said back. How dare you slander Loki who unlike you people had a good heart?"

She snorted as she said, "What did you say? He saved me because he wanted me."

"What if it's because of that? I would be glad if he wants me. If he didn't want me, I would throw myself against him."

She mocked them, "Did anyone say that he can't have me?"

The girl sneered, "Well, it would be only right if he gets a slut like you."

Stella rolled her eyes as she said, "At least he is getting a beautiful and hot girl unlike you. You should throw away all those desires because he is mine. A person who slanders the person she likes doesn't have the right to speak of his name."

One of the guys smirked, "Beauty, Loki is just a piece of wood. He wouldn't know what to do. Come to me, I can give you a good time."

Stella looked at him disgustedly. She looked at her nails as she casually commented, " Do you know that I was the one who destroyed that creature's main thing?"

She looked at him and smiled evilly, "I stomped on it so many times till I was satisfied."

The guy gulped as he staggered backward. She huffed as she said, "How dare you compare Loki to your disgusting selves. Even if Loki has a cold exterior, he is a good person, unlike you vile creatures."

Stella raised an eyebrow when she saw their faces drain of color. She smirked happily as if her warning worked.

She glared at them as she stressed, "Loki is mine. He's hot, handsome, and strong. Why wouldn't anyone want a treasure like him? You, people, better apologize and disappear from my sight."

The students bowed their heads vigorously as they apologized and scurried away with their tails between their legs.

Stella tilted her head as she rubbed her chin and said, "Were they too scared? Well, how dare they slander him, Hmph!!!"

She sagged her shoulders as she turned around to be frozen on her stance. Right behind her was the guy she was looking for. He was observing her coldly but his eyes had a hint of curiosity in them.

Stella widened her eyes as she staggered back and stammered, "Y-You..."

Stella slapped herself mentally as she thought, 'When did he arrive? Did he hear everything?'

Loki tilted his head as amusement flashed through his eyes as he asked, "I am yours?"
