109 Chapter 109 : Aren't you getting off of me?

Hazel blinked at him and let her hands down slowly. She repeated her words, "Remove your clothes"

Adrian widened his eyes in shock. His hands unconsciously crawled to his chest and covered them. Her lips twitched when she saw his reaction.

'Did she look like someone who takes advantage of others?'

Hazel rolled her eyes as she sneered, "Stop overreacting. I need to see your body to get a clear idea."

"Oh!"

Adrian had an understanding expression on his face making Hazel scowl. She looked at him unbelievably when she heard him mutter, "You should have told me clearly."

Hazel retorted, "Why? You wanted to be ready before I jump on you?"

Adrian choked on his saliva upon hearing her. Hazel raised her eyebrows when she saw him gaping at her, "It's not my fault that you have a dirty mind."

Adrian pursed his lips as he reflexively shouted, "What-"

But before he could complete his words, he saw Hazel raise her hand, glaring at him and assert, "Remove now or I can help you with it."

Adrian pursed his lips as he started unbuttoning his shirt. As soon as half of his chest was revealed, gasps and squeals echoed making him pause.

Hazel turned towards the door and saw her juniors crowding near the entrance. She raised her eyebrow at them making the crowd scatter instantly.

Hazel frowned before she turned to look at Adrian. She finally realized why they crowded at her door. This guy was gorgeous!!

That half revealing sturdy chest was such a tease for the onlookers. She watched him unbutton the shirt and remove it while flexing his muscles. She raised her eyebrows when she saw his toned abs coupled with his oblivious face on how much damage his body had caused her poor juniors.

'Oh boy!'

Adrian watched her gaze at his body keenly. He smirked when he saw how distracted she was. He cleared his throat making Hazel shift her eyes towards his face.

On seeing him smirk, Hazel rolled her eyes as she said, "Make sure to cover yourself once you leave this room. I don't want my juniors to faint."

That comment wiped off his smirk making him sit on the bed uninterestedly. Hazel's lips twitched as she gestured him to lie down.

She took out her needles from her pouch making him look at her warily. She hid the smile coming to her face as she said in a soothing voice, "Relax... this won't hurt you."

For some reason, her calm soothing voice relaxed his tense nerves making him sink into the bed. Hazel took that chance to place all the needles in his acupuncture points and waited for a minute before taking his pulse.

Adrian watched her diligently. He saw her purse her lips and knit her brows making him ask worriedly, "What's wrong? Is it that bad?"

Adrian froze as he smiled awkwardly, "I am"

She rolled her eyes as she asked, "So, you really don't know what's wrong with your body?"

He nodded seriously making Hazel want to slap him senselessly.

"So, you didn't know that you had a seal in your body?"

Hazel narrowed her eyes when she saw shock pass through his eyes quickly. She continued, "You didn't know that the seal was hindering your energy channels making you go berserk once you exert more mana?"

He widened his eyes as he stood up and shouted, "Impossible!! The seal in my body is to control my magic."

Hazel stared at him emotionlessly making him want to sit back on the bed.

"You started to doubt it too, didn't you?"

Adrian pursed his lips as he mumbled, "How did you find out?"

He recalled back to what she did while checking him. He didn't find anything extraordinary as she did the same technique as all the other healers did. And yet, she was the only one who realized that he had a powerful seal in his body.

"That's isn't relevant now. If you were beginning to doubt it, then why didn't you ask the person who placed it in you to remove it? "

Adrian bit his lip as he repeated what his elders said to him, " The seal was used to control my powers and not the opposite."

Hazel sighed at the stubborn guy in front of her. She asked him, "Are you sure about that?"

He frowned at her words but remained silent.

"Really?"

Seeing him not answering her questions, Hazel continued firing questions at him, "Do you remember the exact time this started to happen? Did you go berserk right after the seal was implanted in your body?"

When she saw him nod his head to her questions. Hazel looked at him sharply and said, " I'm sure by now you already have a gist of the situation and since you want someone to spill it to you, I would do that."

"Someone wanted to harm you instead of saving you. The seal they have used on you is quite powerful and dangerous. It can control your mana to a certain limit but once you cross that, the pent-up mana it had stored would explode within your body, making you go berserk."

Adrian opened and closed his mouth hearing her theory.

He looked away from her as he muttered, "But, they wanted to help me. My father wanted to help me."

Hazel nodded as she said, "I'm sure they did have that intention and brought a skilled mage to implant a seal in your body and killed him off to keep the news within the royal family. But have you ever thought that your enemies could corrupt the mage and make him plant a harmful seal on you?"

Adrian widened his eyes as he never thought of this possibility.

Hazel sighed as she turned around, searching through her table as she suggested, "Start from the person who suggested this idea. You will eventually reach the culprit."

Adrian nodded glumly as he imagined all the massacre he would have to do to reach the culprit.

He looked at her hopelessly as he asked, "So you can't resolve it?"

Hazel raised her eyebrows as she turned around and looked at him with a needle in her hand and said, "When did I say that?"

Adrian chuckled as he laid back down on the bed.

.....

After an hour, Hazel packed up all her stuff while wiping away the sweat on her forehead. Removing the seal took half of her energy. She glanced back at the guy who was sweating profusely on the bed.

She smiled softly, "Take some rest before we leave for the town."

Adrian took deep breaths as he looked at her standing against her table.

He shook his head as he panted, "No..we don't have to wait. Let's leave before we turn up too late."

Hazel chuckled as she understood his hidden worry, "You don't have to worry about Adrianna. She is with my friends and I'm sure they would take good care of her."

Adrian smiled as he denied, "It's not because of her. It's just that I feel fine so I don't want to waste my time."

Hazel shook her head at him as she turned around to search for a pill.

Adrian got up from the bed with his legs shaking. He panted heavily as he felt his sweat trickle down towards his chest. He couldn't help but lament at how painful the session was. He had to stop himself from screaming out loud by clenching his jaws.

He shook his head as he took a step forward to grab his shirt when his legs gave away. He let out a yelp as he fell straight towards Hazel who had her back facing him.

Hearing a shriek, Hazel turned around right in time to see a huge figure fall over her. She reached out to catch him and asked worriedly, "Are you okay?"

Adrian heaved a sigh, nodding his head at her. He turned his head towards her only to be frozen when he saw her face near his. His ears turned red as he hurriedly tried to move back. Yet, he tripped on the sheet on the floor and fell back onto the bed along with Hazel in his arms.

Adrian stared at the ceiling as he tried to catch his breath. He couldn't believe how weak his legs were after one session. He glanced down at the soft figure who had her face buried on his chest.

Hazel groaned when she felt her nose crash against a hard object. She got up from the hard object while rubbing her painful nose.

Adrian tried holding back his smile as he asked her, "Hazel, are you okay?"

Hazel stopped rubbing her nose and glared at him.

"Didn't I tell you to stay put?"

Adrian smiled at her apologetically making her grimace at him. She straightened herself and was now straddling him. He raised his eyebrows at her who was completely oblivious to her position.

"Aren't you getting off of me?"

Before Hazel could retort, both of them heard a thunderous voice reverberate loudly, "Yeah... Aren't you getting off of him?"
