149 Chapter 149: Holy Mage

Julian grimaced visibly at Sirius who had a hunger for battle displayed on his face. His loud laugh echoed like the thunder rumbling in the sky. Julian clenched his teeth as he looked down and saw his blood falling towards the ground.

He gripped his hand around his robe and tore it apart before he used it to wrap his wound. Sirius flashed him a grin before he vanished from his spot and appeared behind him. Julian met with his attack with his sword. His sword trembled slightly from the force but he held on and pushed the demon back.

Taking a deep breath, he positioned in the middle of the sky, pointing his sword at the demon. He started gathering green light around it which slowly combined into a huge ball at the sword's tip. The light gleamed in the night as it grew bigger before Julian held the sword up and slashed it in the demon's direction.

Sirius smirked as he used his vines to counter-attack it with his power. A huge dark ball formed in front of his eyes as he calmly looked at the incoming light ball. He smirked as he threw his ball towards the light ball.

Darkness and wind collided against each other creating a loud explosion in the sky. The force of the attack pushed both of them a thousand meters away.

Julian panted as he glanced in the demon's direction. His eyes widened when he saw the demon disappear from his sight and appear before him instantly.

Sirius tilted his head and studied the guy in front of him before a chilling smile spread across his face.

"Old man, you are not so bad. You are weak and yet you stand before me fighting with all you have got."

Julian pursed his lips angrily.

'Do you really have to be arrogant because you can heal?'

Sirius smirked, "Maybe that's where your daughter got it... Stupid bravery!"

Julian froze before he looked at the demon in shock. The demon raised his eyebrow and asked incredulously, "You didn't expect me to not know the person who killed one of us, right?"

Smirking, he said, "I heard she was really beautiful and that..."

Pausing for a while, he glanced at him and said sniggered, "She loves her family a little too much."

Julian's face paled as he finally understood the reason behind today's attack. And, the next words proved his thoughts right.

Sirius tutted under his breath, "Tch, it's too bad that she's not here."

"But, if I destroy her home, then maybe she will come to me willingly."

Julian's eyes flashed in fury as he lifted his sword and swiped it across the sky.

He roared, "You wouldn't live to touch a single hair from her body."

Sirius chuckled as he disappeared inside his mist. His chuckle echoing around Julian who had a fierce expression on his face.

"For that, you need to be alive, old man." the demon's cold voice whispered in his ear.

He wanted to end the game he had started.

His eyes flashed as he directed his vines to attack him continuously. Julian blocked some but a few managed to pierce his arms and legs. Yet, he continued fighting, snarling at the demon.

During the fight, Julian drifted his eyes towards Usui who nodded.

Julian sighed before determination flashed through his eyes. He gripped his sword tight and lashed out his final attack -Tornado.

Huge tornadoes formed beside him making the demon raise his eyebrows in a challenging way.

He clapped his hands and the two huge tornadoes joined into one big tornado before it attacked Sirius.

The demon stood there calmly as if the huge tornado was nothing but a small breeze. He lifted his sword which was coated in darkness before he attacked the incoming tornado. His eyes narrowed when he felt cuts across his body.

He realized that the tornado was much like his previous attack. The wind was being used as blades, attacking one when the person was focused on protecting one's self from being carried away.

He smirked as he gathered his vines together to form a huge sword and slashed it through the tornado. The tornado was cut in half before it disappeared into thin air.

"Good one, indeed"

He grinned before he dashed towards Julian who was glaring at him hatefully. Just before he reached him, a countless number of walls formed around Julian, separating him from the demon.

He smiled crazily as he directed his vines to attack the walls. But slowly his smile faded and his lips curled up, snarling as his eyes scanned for the person obstructing him.

His eyes stopped at one who was watching him silently. When Usui saw that Sirius was looking at him, he flashed a grin making his snarl grow wider.

Usui smirked before he crushed his hand into a fist and instantly Sirius could feel the space close around him.

He gritted his teeth and growled, "I didn't think I would be able to meet a formation master in this battle"

Usui glowered at him in response making Sirius cackle.

"Did you think a measly formation could hold this great master?"

Sirius's eyes glowed as he bellowed, "Impossible"

He raised his fist which was covered in darkness and smashed against the space in front of him. The demon kept on smashing the space that Usui felt like his body would break from holding him in.

"Brother"

Zelal yelled when Usui spurted blood and fell on his knees. The demon smirked before he ran his fist into the walls.

Instantly, cracks formed on the walls as it crumbled one after the other. Surprise clouded his face when he saw the person standing before him.

Long silver hair, flowing in the sky as her golden eyes stared at him murderously. Sirius looked shocked upon seeing her that he forgot what he was supposed to do.

Stella raised her curved blade and performed her special attack - Thousand needles.

Thousands of cuts appeared on the demon letting his blood ooze out. At the last attack, Stella gripped her curved blade tightly and the white light shone brightly. She dashed past him in a second and heaved heavily.

Blood spurted out from his chest as his eyes widened in pain. He fell from the sky towards the ground creating a huge hole. He gasped n pain as his hands touched his wounds. And, to his horror, he saw his wounds not healing.

Sirius's face darkened as he screamed angrily as he looked at the girl hovering in the sky. A hateful name came across his mind but he couldn't believe it.

After all, he was one of the people who eliminated that race from the world. So, how could one of them be alive?

He glared at Stella before his eyes drifted towards the sword. His eyes narrowed when he saw the familiar markings on it and an annoying face came to his mind.

He snorted, "Princess Stella, I never thought I would see you again."

Stella paused as she looked at the demon in shock.

"How do you know me?"

Sirius ridiculed, "How can I not know the most beloved person of that annoying fellow's?"

Stella frowned making Sirius narrow his eyes. His hands covered his wounds and for the first time in million years, he was injured, and that too because of a Holy mage.

How shameful!

Sirius hated the holy mages more than anything in this world that he joined with the other demons who had planned on eradicating them. They were the only ones who could injure the demons and everyone hated it.

But to their advantage, those fools loved peace so much that they refused to take part in battles. The king, Stella's father, was especially a kind powerful person who refused to battle even when he was at the death's door.

Now, he understood why the king was adamant about not fighting. He was protecting her, giving her the time to escape the palace.

"Tch" Sirius tutted under his breath as he glanced at the girl who was clueless about everything.

He had enough! with the addition of the holy mage, things wouldn't end well as he imagined. He growled as he started transforming into his original form. His body twitched as his feet and hands grew bigger. Horns appeared on his head and his red eyes glowed brilliantly as it stared at Stella.

His vines grew bigger and surrounded his body, pointing at Stella.

Stella froze in shock as images flashed through her mind. She clutched her head as she saw the same figure before her, appear in her memories accompanied by a doting voice, "My dear daughter, go out and live well. We love you so much!"

She saw the figure in her memories entrust a blade in her hand and said, "Only the royal descendants can wield the blade, Stella. Keep it safe"

Finally, she saw her father's face who smiled at her and kissed her lovingly.

"We are sorry that we couldn't accompany you to see how you grow up beautifully."

Tears welled up in her eyes as she gripped the blade tightly. She held the blade to her lips and cried, "Father...Mother"

Her tears fell on the blade as she cried and the white light around the blade shone brighter.

Stella felt the wind on her face and a snarling voice accompanying it, "Die"

Usui and Zelal shouted loudly, "STELLA !!!!"
