200 Chapter 200: Don't Wanna

"Why are you surprised when you already accepted his proposal?"

Hazel furrowed her brows as she retorted, "I said yes to his proposal. Not to get married quickly."

She mumbled, "I thought the wedding would happen in the long run"

Jinha rolled his eyes, "Clearly, Usui doesn't think that way"

Hazel scowled at him. She leaned back and rubbed her forehead.

'Just what was going in his head?'

Jinha looked at her troubled face and chuckled.

'I would love to see his face after she rejects the marriage'

He was so done with that guy shouting all over the place, how lucky he was to be Hazel's husband. He even stole his thunder while announcing that when everyone came to know about Reyna, they didn't have much reaction.

He smirked evilly thinking how crestfallen he would be.

Reyna suddenly asked, "Hazel, why did you even barge into the forest?"

Jinha suddenly had his expression shift from gloating to frown. How could he forget about her adventure?

His frown deepened when he remembered hearing about her coincidental meeting with a stranger.

Reyna noticed the change in him and tugged at his hand. Jinha smile at her and patted her hand gently.

Turning towards Hazel who was still in deep thoughts, he asked.

"Should I start on how careless you were?"

Hazel shook her head making him exhale.

"So you knew that going in was careless and yet you went." Staring at her, "Do you have anything to explain?"

Hazel sighed, "I wanted to check what was happening to make all the beasts scared."

Then she squeezed her brows and said, "And, it was weird to find the sabertooth tigers in the middle region."

Jinha shook his head at her. She never listens to anything he says. Well, he was glad that she was strong enough to fight all of them. When he heard about her battle from what Usui had deciphered, he wasn't surprised.

After all, Hazel was trained to make use of anything near her as weapons. So it wasn't a surprise when he knew that she used the sharp ends of the branches to fight against the tiger.

He was grateful that she didn't use her mana to fight against them. He didn't want to think what all could have gone wrong if she was forced to use it. For that, he was grateful for the mysterious guy's appearance.

Talking about that, he asked her curiously, "So, are you going to explain about this Lance guy?"

Hazel raised her eyebrows at him.

He asked, "What? Did you expect your so-not-jealous boyfriend to keep his mouth shut?"

Her lips twitched.

Hazel shuddered at the mention of Seria. She nodded absentmindedly swearing to all the Gods that she would never step foot inside the inner regions, ever again.

Jinha rubbed his chin as he asked, "So, what you are saying is that the python was that guy's pet?"

Hazel nodded.

"And, you think the python was guarding him all along?"

She pursed her lips as she nodded again, feeling completely stupid at her deduction.

But what else could be the answer? Why else would he appear inside the forest with a python as a pet?

He frowned, "Just who was this guy?"

Hazel shook her head. She didn't feel any murderous aura from him apart from the time he dealt with the sabertooth tigers.

"He is strong." She looked at Jinha and said, "Too strong that if he turns out to be an enemy, we would have trouble."

Jinha nodded.

Reyna suddenly asked, "You said he disappeared when Usui came. So why did he show up in front of you if he wanted to keep his existence a secret?"

Hazel shook her head, wondering about the same. Jinha smirked, "You know what, you really shouldn't be thinking about another guy"

Hazel who was in deep thoughts, scowled at him. Before she could say something, she noticed Jinha had his hand intertwined with Reyna.

'Were they holding hands the entire time?'

She frowned when she saw Jinha squeeze her hand and smiling at Reyna.

She rolled her eyes and said, "I get that you love her. But do you have to rub it in my face?"

Jinha sneered, "I'm just following someone"

Saying that he lifted their hands and kissed her hand lovingly before looking up and said, "I should make up for all those years"

Reyna flushed deep red making Hazel laugh.

"After all... I'm still better than someone who was shouting on top of his lungs"

Her eyebrows twitched as she clearly understood who she was referring to.

'Looks like I would have to talk to him soon'

And at that moment, the door opened and showed Usui standing by the door, shocked.

"Love?"

He didn't know that she had awakened. No one informed him. A happy smile spread across his face as he rushed towards Hazel. Hazel smiled at him as she felt her heart squeeze in happiness.

Usui slid beside her and grabbed her hand. With his other hand, he brushed her hair away from the forehead and touched it.

After a couple of seconds, he mumbled, "Good, your fever is all gone"

"Fever?" she looked shocked by this news. She turned towards Jinha who was scratching his chin embarrassedly.

"Don't look at me... we were distracted"

Usui answered on behalf of them, "When we reached the castle yesterday, you were running a high temperature. The healer said it was mostly because of fatigue and cold. You didn't wear your cloak for most of the day."

Hazel touched her forehead and mumbled, "I see"

She didn't even realize that she was feverish yesterday.

Wait-

Her eyes widened as she looked up and said, "Yesterday?"

Usui nodded making her gape at him. He pulled her against his chest and nuzzled her hair.

Hazel blushed, "I haven't taken a bath"

Usui chuckled as he kissed her hair.

"You still smell fragrant to me."

Hazel hid her face in his chest making him laugh lightly.

Jinha looked at them with a sour face and asked, "Just who was it asking me to not shove it to her face?"

Reyna nudged him with her eyes widened making him ask silently, 'What?'

Hazel tilted her head and stuck her tongue out at him.

Usui brushed through her hair as he asked, "What were you guys so distracted with?"

Hazel froze and looked at Jinha urgently. He smirked at her flustered expression before he leaned back and said.

"Well, we were just talking how strong and handsome Lance was."

Usui's hand stiffened on her hair making Hazel facepalm mentally. She quickly threw Jinha a glare which made him chuckle. Hazel leaned back and held Usui's hand making him look at her with pursed lips.

"We were talking about the mystery behind Lance."

Usui furrowed his brows and asked, "Mystery?"

She nodded and proceeded to say her theories making his eyebrow squeeze together.

"Hmm... that is truly suspicious."

Hazel sighed, "Let's talk about this after knowing more."

Usui nodded.

Jinha stood up, still holding Reyna's hand on his, and said, "We will leave you lovebirds alone." and turned towards Reyna, "Let's go somewhere far from them."

Reyna chided him softly, "Jinha"

Jinha smiled at her before pulling her towards the door. Reyna threw an embarrassed look at Hazel who laughed at her.

Usui watched the couple leave and muttered, "You know...he's being showing off his love, shoving it in our faces that Loki and Liz were close to shipping him off somewhere "

Hazel chuckled as she teased him, "Just like someone, eh?"

"Hey! I wasn't that bad"

Hazel laughed, "You think"

He scratched his chin helplessly and asked, "What is it?"

Hazel looked at him in surprise making him laugh, "What? did you expect me to ignore his gloating expression?"

Hazel pursed her lips, "Well, it's about our... umm... wedding"

Usui's eyes brightened as he happily said, "Yeah?"

Hazel bit her lips as she asked, "Umm... aren't we rushing too fast?"

Usui held her hands and played with her fingers.

"Well, my mother started celebrating when she knew that we were engaged. So, she started making plans eagerly with your mother."

He shrugged, "I really didn't have a voice."

Hazel nodded.

"Since we already decided to be together, I thought it wouldn't be a problem if we got married early-"

Hazel gripped his hand tight making him stop his words.

"What is it, Love?"

Hazel mumbled, "I don't want to get married"

She felt his body stiffen from her words making her close her eyes shut.

'Damn it'

Usui felt as if his world was crashing. He was all over the sky from the moment she accepted his proposal and now he had fallen.

'Don't want to get married'

'Don't want to get married'

'Don't want to get married'

It repeated in his mind so much that he choked, "Are you rejecting me now?"
