"Ah, so you're saying you needed help to become a queen? And how do I do that?"
Jomel questioned the lady in front of him. He is in a weak scorpion bug tree right now with only the cultivation stage of Anthrobite that is equal to level forty in the main world.
"However, I have a question... How do you improve your cultivation in this world?"
Jomel asked with curiosity. The people beside him also don't know how to improve their level of cultivation and he craves it.
Jomel also noticed that he couldn't get out of this cave-like can't find a way to get out and even his people and bugs didn't know.
He plans to cultivate by absorbing sunlight because of his devascorpion form that can, however, he cannot find a way to get outside and it is his obstacle to improving his level.
So he plans to ask for another way.
"The only way to improve the level is to become a knight of kings and queens of a bug tree," Vann explained to Jomel respectfully.
"Ah! The teleportation guy,"
Jomel noticed because of his precognition ability, he beckoned his hand and a beetle appeared out of nowhere and acted submissively.
"Here, take a seat." Jomel offered as the beetle acted as a chair.
Vann was shocked at the beetles obeying him without any sort of resistance, he had seen and witness a lot of beetle tamers but never before anyone controlled a bug army without resistance. Some of them take a lot of drugs even to tame.
"Thank you." He said with respect.
"It's okay, we can forget pleasantries, please explain what are these kings, queens, and the bug scorpion tree."
Jomel asked once again, while he also gave the queen and the cloaked person a scorpion chair as Jomel noticed that the lady quite has authority because she was born on the thing Jomel saw last time.
The queen and the cloaked person did not interrupt as they also listened.
Turning his head once again, Jomel asks,
"Is that the only way? I heard my people mentioning king and queens of bug trees, what are they exactly?"
Vann replied calmly, "The queens are responsible for creating an army of intelligent beings while the kings are responsible for commanding it. The more bug wars a young tree like ours won, the more cultivation limit we will surpass."
Jomel was impressed and asked, "Sounds amazing, does a king can cultivate too?"
"Yes, a king's cultivation is the based limit to our bug tree, the higher the cultivation and bloodline power level the bug king has, the stronger their descendant will become."
Jomel was a little confused, "So... The knight's and queen's cultivation limit is the cultivation that the king got?"
'Must have been a lot of tasks to become a bug King.' Jomel thought as the king's job may have been a lot harder than that.
"Yes, sir," Vann said respectfully.
"Why do you keep on saying sir, uh... What are your intentions of coming here anyway?" Jomel asked as he prepared himself for their answer or whatever it is.
"How do I say this, Our beloved queen left her pheromone here as this is the only place where she can perform a ritual of being a true queen of this bug tree."
Vann said as he prepares himself for the Lost King's anger. His aura was releasing a little and he is planning to transport his queen once again if things go haywire.
Jomel however, only calmly asks, "I still have a lot of questions, like why here?"
Vann was stunned, it seems that this Lost King is reasonable. And of course, Jomel is not hungry now.
Vann wiped out his sweat and replied respectfully, "Answering your question sir, this is where our queen is supposed to choose his official king."
"What a king? Why she didn't have any king?" Jomel asked.
Vann was dumbfounded, "Aren't you the one who killed him, King sir?"
Jomel suddenly thought of something, "The delicious fat guy?" He said that almost made Vann, the Queen, and the cloaked person spurt some blood.
Jomel noticed this as he looked at the silent queen and apologizes, "I am sorry, for killing your King. I am mindless at that time, are you here for revenge?" He said.
His aura changed and an invisible terrifying pressure descended on everyone including his people. The bug beasts under his command are the only ones unaffected but all of them released a shriek as their bloodlust was combined with Jomel's pressure on his devascorpion form.
Vann, the blood queen, and the cloaked person nearly fainted, as they hurriedly replied with difficulty, "No! No! No! Lost King sir."
'What is this power?' the cloaked person said on his mind.
Jomel looked at his surroundings when he heard that, he noticed that everyone was on the ground hurting, so he stopped his pressure and scratch his head.
He looked at his people and said, "I apologize." While smiling at them.
Everyone suddenly replied...
"You don't have to worry king. It's a piece of good news for us."
"We are okay king."
"Thank you for your concern, my King."
They were used to his presence, whenever he lost to the game of chess he invented, he would release this invisible pressure.
However, to his people, this is a good sign to avoid their king being bored. They once witness him get bored and ate countless giant big beasts under his command.
The horror they felt when he did that made them realized that the one who protects them is so scary, that they would never mess with him.
It's also the reason why they call him Scorpion King.
"I apologized for that, I thought you guys are here to kill me. I was planning on eating you three alive, but don't worry since you mean no harm. I won't do it." He said with a tone of violence in his voice.
"It's okay, Sir king, we are looking for Candidate King for our queen and our current Kingless Scorpion bug tree."
Vann said while his inside is still injured to the heavy pressure earlier.
"Is that so..." Jomel thought of something asked for fun, "Am I included to become a King too?"
Vann looked at him and hesitated for a moment. "Sir but aren't you a Lost King?"
Jomel was bewildered, "Lost King? What is that?"
