Chapter 29:First Combat

Jomel reaches for his two swords, ready to pull one from its sheath, but...

"Wait, wait, wait, don't fret, let me grab a video camera. Don't worry, I'll blur your image."

Jomel figured this man was absolutely bizarre. He merely stood there, changing his stance, breathing heavily, and his eyes became alert. Jomel made use of the Fast Swordplay-

*Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrnnggg*

The Soul-Beast let out a scream!

And then dashed in his path.

When the beast got closer, Jomel's eyes started to glow oddly. The beast fires wind blades at Jomel, but he just tilted his shoulder slightly and evaded the assault with minimal effort while going on.

"Oh my god, this is obviously not a Soul-Beast move, and it's certainly not a military move..." While watching the fight, the odd man said.

He knows this isn't a military posture or tactic. Where did this little soldier meet Mozar? He's not even wasting any moves, and yet he easily avoided the attack.

*Ping!! *

*Kishiiing!*

The claw of the raptor clashed with the sword he is holding.

*CLANG*

*THUD*

*SWOOSH*

Jomel's nose bled as a result of the collision's impact and shockwave.

He has pushed a long-distance backward, but the Raptor chased him without allowing him a chance to recover.

***PSSH***

Jomel was unconcerned with the blood gushing out of his nose.

He simply measured the beast's power in comparison to him, and the outcome was just as he predicted. The Raptor folds its wings and produces another wind edge, this time six of them, but smaller than the previous attack.

*Swissshh*

The assault was so near and Jomel is that as it may fair sidestepped the assault effortlessly since precognition covered up talent. He chose to come near to the raptor-like animal, Jomel coated his sword with Will's vitality, and when he got nearer. The raptor's tail lights up, and Jomel dodges the attack once more with a slash.

His two swords then made contact with the raptors' cranium.

*TINK!! *

As a result, his attack is just a standard one but if he coats it with venom, the attack would be ineffective because the opponent is a Metal-Soul Beast... Metal-Type Soul-Beast is resistant to Venom-Type move sets and avoids Standard-Type moves or assaults, but Jomel's attack is not unsuccessful so damage is still dealt.

The Raptor was pinned down but it delivered a strike again using his Sword-like tail.

*SHIIIING*

*SLASH*

Jomel saw it coming and easily evaded it and he swung his sword again.

*TING*

The attacks were repeated a lot of times.

*TING*

*TING*

*TING*

Despite having a sturdy metallic frame and numbers, the raptor was caught down on the ground several times. It has now been 50 minutes, but Jomel is continuing to hit his opponent. When the Raptor realized he couldn't succeed in close combat, he fled, while Jomel let it go. Jomel's smile was unimaginably sincere right now, but on the outside, he appears relaxed and dangerously serious.

This Raptor, or so-called Vultory, seems to be preparing something.

*Aaacccckkkkkk*

The Vultory raptor-like Soul-Beast screamed angrily.

*PISHIW*

*PISHIW*

*PISHIW*

The Vultory raptor-like Soul-Beast shots a dozen of single steel-like arrows towards Jomels position,

Jomel saw it all coming, with a strong concentration of will energy on his sword.

He positioned he turned back towards in front the first arrow he evaded and then...

*Kaboom*

The steel arrow exploded with a boom.

The shockwave of the impact propelled him away from the other arrows.

*Booom*

*Booom*

*Booom*

Luckily his mind works faster and got used to Precognition's hidden talent a little.

If he didn't train on the way, he might have been shredded by the impact.

Luckily he didn't trust it fully. Trusting completely in everything is an act of cowards. In the past, he trusted the specialist for curing his small sister but it all depleted him. He will never believe anybody completely, ever again. Trust is the same thing as dependence and maybe blame of quitters, he is in no require of such weakness.

He may believe Motus but not completely since he is fairly persuaded of its superior quality.

He trusts Motus but not fully.

All beings must cooperate, for no one will live if they do not trust anybody.

Someone they consider as greater and nobler than themselves. Those that are deserving will look ever further, finding more superior beings, to escape those obligations. And those bosses do the same, searching for better and more powerful individuals on which they can place their trust.

This is how Kings, Emperors, and rulers are made.

Even Gods are created by these misguided human concepts of nature. To escape long-range battle strikes, Jomel rushed towards the raptor. The fast win blades are avoided, by sliding himself from side to side.

When jomel is closed to the Voltury he swung his sword with all his might.

*CLANG*

*BAM*

*TING*

The same thing that happened before is happening now. And if his Standard attack is ineffective, he will continue to strike repeatedly. After a half-hour of non-stop sword-swinging, the Raptor stopped running and counter-attacking.

It collapses to the ground, exhausted and fainting. The Young soldiers' movements were flawless because the Strange stranger watching them was in shock. It is full of experience as if he can see the future and those attacks coming. He's so happy he filmed this.

This is gonna be a hit, especially in an online battle arena. The online battle arena is the arena where every race fights without using combat form. Only by using hidden skills and some elemental moves that a computer can handle.

A soul-Beast Tamer or Even a normal people can join in there as long as they are willing to fight.

A player will go to a room where there are a part of wires and a player will wear something like a head protector to enter the virtual tournament. In there the physiques are the same. A player can fight a level 100 being, and it was empowering to practice fighting in that virtual environment.

There are also five vs. five and one on one games.

It can be a private or public fight.

It's exciting and a perfect way to refine practice fighting skills.

If a character dies in there, he or she will not die in real life.
