This terrifying flame was fatal to the cold-blooded creatures on Dragon Island.
“Hmph! Want to flee? Not so fast!”
Qin Feng waved his Verdant Emperor Saber.
“Thousand Spirit Chain Rend!”
A vast number of spirits then overwhelmed three White Pterosaurs, stopping them in their tracks. Four White Pterosaurs, however, were able to flee with their heavily injured bodies. Qin Feng did not have the time to pursue them though. He had sensed that there were more and more ultra beasts swarming out from the ice mountain. Some of them were quite powerful.
Qin Feng quickly beheaded the three White Pterosaurs’ heads and tossed them into his pocket dimensions before rushing onward. The Demonscale Drake quickly ran away.
Qin Feng, of course, was not going to lead the others into the ice mountain—there was a dimensional crack in there after all. If these people were to discover the construction site of the Dark Citadel, Qin Feng would not be able to explain himself.
Right now, he needed to steer them away from these things or else there would be trouble. Thankfully, there were a lot of caves in the ice mountain. As such, he quickly dashed into one of the caves, attempting to use it as their temporary base of operation for now.
“Go in!” Hu San ordered.
After ensuring that everyone had entered the cave, Hu San used his consciousness and blocked the entrance with a gust of snow before freezing them up. The three-meter thick snow had been completely frozen into ice.
Right now, everyone was safe.
The seven A-tiers were already exhausted and worn out. They sat down and meditated, recovering their internal energy and consciousness. Thankfully, the energies here were much stronger than the ones found above. As such, even though they had used up a lot of their energies, they were able to recover quickly.
The S-tiers had not used up too much of their energies. Therefore, Hu San politely introduced each other to everyone. Qin Feng was surprised upon hearing their names. However, he was able to quickly recover and shook their hands politely.
“It’s an honor to meet members of the Beitang family and Nangong family.”
“The honor is ours, Marshal.” Nangong Zeming responded respectfully. He had turned a complete 180 after seeing Qin Feng’s true powers.
Although Beitang Gan knew who Qin Feng was, he did not know that he was a marshal. Still, it was not difficult for him to believe this either—Qin Feng had shown them that he was indeed someone befitting of the title.
“Youngsters nowadays are so impressively powerful. What a pleasant surprise! It’s really nice to meet you!”
After introducing one another, Qin Feng brought out the S-tier bear’s corpse, “We’ve hunted this ultra beast together. Let’s split the materials on it.”
As for the other ultra beasts, Qin Feng did not intend to split the loot—he was the one who took them all down.
“Marshal Qin, this should be yours. If it weren’t for you…” Nangong Zeming responded politely, showing that he did not want to claim the loot.
Qin Feng waved his hand and stopped him from saying further. This loot was not just any mere loot. It was the corpse of an S-tier ultra beast. There was no way he could keep this valuable loot to himself when someone else had helped.
“Mr Nangong, let’s put that aside. We have indeed killed this ultra beast together. I can’t possibly selfishly claim it for myself. If you’re feeling uncomfortable, we could divide it by taking turns. If there’re not enough materials for everyone, we could always top it up with other materials.”
Upon hearing this, Beitang Gan was even more impressed with Qin Feng.
“Well, you’re right. And there’s no denying that this thing is indeed useful to us too. Still, the boy contributed the most in taking this thing down. So, Qin Feng, you should take the largest portion of the loot.”
Qin Feng took a look at Hu San. Hu San knew that Qin Feng did not mind the loot at all. However, it was important for them to divide the loot in a fair manner; if not, it would be difficult for them to work together later.
“It’s alright. Qin Feng, you pick first.”
Qin Feng took a look at the dead, white bear. He knew that the most valuable thing on it was its hide. Thus, he harvested it without hesitation. Of course, this bear also had a crystal core in it but the size of the core was rather small. As such, the core’s value was not as great as the hide.
Hu San was an ice-type ability user. Therefore, he chose the crystal core. Then, Beitang Gan took its flesh and Nangong Zeming took its guts and kidneys.
After dividing the loot, Hu San finally had time to ask Qin Feng his reason for being here.
“I’ve also found a dimensional crack. And it brought me here.”
“There’s another dimensional crack? Can we go through it? It looks like this crack has a different location than the place we came from.” Hu San said.
Beitang Gan nodded. “Yeah. Still… this realm is too perilous to stay!”
Hearing the three of them exchanging words, Qin Feng realized that even Hu San too had just begun his expedition here on Dragon Island. Perhaps he did not know the place as well as Qin Feng—the young man who was reborn.
‘So, does this mean that Dragon Island is still completely undeveloped and untouched? Then, I’ll have the biggest advantage here!’
Qin Feng took a glance at the Demonscale Drakes. His biggest asset right now was still his ability to control undead puppets.
Booom!!
Suddenly, they could hear a loud noise coming from outside. Everyone’s face turned grim in an instant—they could feel a powerful presence from the other side of the ice wall.
Qin Feng, however, knew that this was just the beginning of the beast wave. When the two rivers met, there would be countless ultra beasts meeting together and battling to their deaths. This was the reason he came—to harvest them in the aftermath.
Still, it was quite unwise to go out right now. Qin Feng was wearing the Divine Flame Imperial Robe—if he were to venture through that ice wall right now, he would be a walking target.
Well then, it was time to use that bear hide that he had just harvested.
Qin Feng took out his Magical Tesseract and put the hide into it. In a few seconds, a cape was made.
Then, he took out the Wolf King’s hide and the scales of the White Pterosaurs, and he put them all into the Magical Tesseract. In another few seconds, a brand new set of combat suit, boots, gloves, hat and face mask were made. Of course, this new equipment was not as powerful as the God Armor, Dark Cape and Divine Flame Imperial Robe. However, they had something that these godly armor did not have—the ability to grant its user great cold resistance.
After putting them on, Qin Feng noticed that this combat suit was even warmer than the Divine Flame Imperial Robe! Not only that, this combat suit was completely white in color—giving him the perfect camouflage in the snow.
Everyone was surprised at how Qin Feng was able to craft his equipment on the spot.
