82 Bullies 4

The next day.

The principal of Helmount Public School was walking on the pavement in his tweed sweater while recalling the events of the day before where he had had to handle a case of bullying in a way which left him with an itch that he couldn't get rid of.

He was someone who had clawed his way up from having nothing to being a respectable school principal, but he was still tied down by the school board which decided everything about the school.

He knew about the many incidents of bullying, but he was powerless because the children who were doing the bullying were those who were the sons and daughters of the influential people on the board.

These were all individuals who had considerable backgrounds in some industry or the other, and they had made a lot of donations to the school over the years which led them to have the power of deciding things which would normally be left to the principal.

Hence, even though that poor kid Derek hadn't been responsible for anything, he had no choice but to berate him and that man in front of those parents and ask for a meeting with their official guardians later to appease these members of the board whose sons were the reason behind everything.

He didn't like it at all, but there was no other way.

Of course, that punch that had connected with that parent had felt damn good to watch.

Deciding to call Derek today to talk to him and explain about how society works, he looked up to see that he had reached the school, but he stopped walking as he noticed something he couldn't understand.

A limousine had just pulled up, and a man wearing an impeccable three-piece suit got out of it before looking up at the school with his hands folded behind his back.

The chauffeur who had opened the door for him handed him a file before getting back in and driving away.

After gazing at the school for a little while, this man walked to a tree nearby on the road before opening the file and starting to read.

Wondering who he was, the principal shrugged and made his way inside to start his day.

A few minutes later, Liz and Derek were also walking on the street which led to the school, but Derek who had been walking behind his sister rammed into her because he hadn't seen that she had stopped on the way for some reason.

Scrunching up his eyebrows in a cute motion, he looked up to see that her gaze was frozen on a man who was standing below a tree in front of the school.

He had seen a few romantic movies even though he wasn't supposed to, so using his innocent mind to remember the words he had heard in them, he asked in a loud voice, "Sis, is he your booooooyfriend?"

Hearing this, Liz actually acted like a teenager who had been caught by her friends and blushed before bending down and closing her brother's mouth, hoping that the CEO hadn't heard him.

She had called him the day before, and he had said that he would handle it in the morning.

However, she couldn't have expected that he would actually meet them at the school.

That was why she had frozen on the road after seeing him.

Meanwhile, Derek was starting to struggle against her hand but the words he was saying were making her blush harder.

"Whaaaat? You were looking at him like in those movies!"

Thankfully, the CEO hadn't noticed, as he just looked up to see both of them before walking towards them while holding a file in his hand.

Seeing this, Liz hurriedly removed her hand and bent down and whispered in Derek's ear, "He's my boss, okay? So don't say things like that! Be nice!"

Making an O symbol with his mouth, Derek asked, "But what's in it for me?" making Liz think that he really was her brother, from the way that he also tried to use every opportunity he had to gain something, even if it wasn't very appropriate sometimes.

"Pizza after school!", she said quickly, before standing up and greeting the CEO, saying,"Mr. Will! I didn't think you would meet us here. Good morning!"

His answer made her gawk, wondering whether she had heard correctly.

"Good morning. This is all the information I've ordered to be gathered. While you read it, let me talk to your brother."

Wait… Why did this feel as if they conducting some sort of business operation?
