Chapter 211 - You Were Married?

Jasmine turned around and look in his direction when she saw his reaction.

"You were married? How is that possible? The news never mentioned that? And you are just 24 years old right, if that was six years ago that means you got married when you were 18 years old. This is just ridiculous Jasmine," Jackson analysed with a painful look on his face.

Whether or not she was married and divorced five times he doesn't give a damn about that because all that matters is that he loves her. But what scares him so much was that Jasmine might still have feelings for her ex-husband.

"I didn't get married so relax. I only almost got married and this fact is only known by those close to me. Outsiders don't know about," Jasmine said to the relief of the guy who had thought that the possibility of capturing her heart was slim.

Jackson quickly covered the gap between them when he heard her reply.

"What happened? Who is the man you almost got married to? Why didn't you get married to him? Is he perhaps the same guy who broke your heart and crushed your belief in love?" Jackson bombarded her with questions he urgently needed answers to.

"Ice Prince, can you not ask me questions? I don't want to talk about unimportant people and the event that almost ruined me. I would really appreciate it if you don't try to pry the answers from me?" Jasmine said seriously as she turned to walk away but Jackson quickly turned over and stand in front of her.

"If thinking about that event or that someone makes you sad then I promise not to force you to talk so cheer up. He is the loser for leaving an angelic beauty like you. A lady whose personality makes every other woman jealous. You are the epitome of perfection so you don't have to feel sad. Although you can be very naughty sometimes, you are wonderful in all aspects," Jackson said while staring into her misty eyes.

"Stop flattering me just to make me feel good...,"

"But none of my words earlier were flatters. Every single word I said earlier was the truth. I promise I didn't say a single word of lies just to make you feel good," Jackson said with his right hand placed on his chest to signify that he was sincere.

Jasmine stares at him trying to read his inner thoughts.

"If that is the case then take me and let's go party. That is the only way I will be happy," Jasmine said as she eagerly waited for his reply.

"Ok, let's go to the club then," Jackson said not hesitating for even a minute. His quick response surprised Jasmine but she did not let it show on her face.

"Not the club. I am planning to take everyone to the club tomorrow so I don't feel like going to the club tonight," Jasmine replied in a calm tone.

"If not the club then where to? You know I can't organize a party for you even though I wanted to since it is pretty late now," Jackson said not knowing what to do to please the lady who said she was sad.

"Let's go party somewhere quiet just the two of us. You have the right to reject if you don't...,"

"I know somewhere that is perfect for this so let's go," Jackson said as he grabbed her hand before she could talk.

What is wrong with Ice Prince lately, he is so unbelievably nice to me. A part of me feels uncomfortable because of this while another part of me feels happy about this. I mean who wouldn't feel good about being treated nicely by a guy who always treated you indifferently in the past?

Jasmine thought as she stares at the back of the guy who is still holding onto her hand. When they reached the car, Jackson opened the door of the car for her.

"We are going for a party, I hope you have stocked alcohol in your car?" Jasmine asked before Jackson could close the door.

"Wait here, I will be back in a jiffy," Jackson acting like he had recalled something shut the door of the car. He left only to come back a few minutes later with a bartender following him with three bottles of wine. Jackson held a bottle of whiskey and two glass wines.

After carefully placing the items in the backseat the bartender left the two people alone. Jackson later went to seat in the driver's seat. Before Jackson could drive off, Jasmine rested her head on his shoulders.

"What are you waiting for? Let's go," Jasmine ordered when Jackson did not drive off despite that the car was ignited. Jackson zoomed off afterwards.

While this was going on Jackson and Jasmine did not know that someone has been watching them for a while now.

"What are those two up to and where did that naughty girl go to with a single man so late in the night," Elizabeth who has been watching everything from afar thought aloud as she continued staring at the direction the car took. She went back into the hotel a few minutes later.

The journey from the hotel to the special place Jackson talked about took them twenty minutes. Jasmine finally opened her eyes when she felt that the car wasn't in motion anymore. Jasmine sat straight and took a proper look at their current surrounding. The place was quiet and close to the water. Sitting inside the car she could see a bridge at a far distance. With how quiet and dark the place was Jasmine could not help but think that this place was perfect for committing a crime.

"How did you find this place?" Jasmine asked as she turned to face him.

"I am sure you noticed that I was in a very terrible mood yesterday. I didn't want you to see the angry side of me that is why I left the hotel in search of a quiet place where I can stay and reminisce. I found this place after so many minutes of searching," Jackson said as he turned and stare at her too.

"Do you normally hide away each time you are angry? Is that how you are gonna hide from your wife each time she makes you upset? will you punish her by making her die of worry?" Jasmine asked in a gentle tone. Jackson hesitated a bit when he heard her question.

"If it was up to me, I would say I don't want to ever get into a fight with my wife but if such a case arrives, I will try my best to resolve the issue. Even though I was the one wronged, I will do everything within my capacity to appease her. This will be my little way of showing her how much I love her. I am sure by doing this she will know that I love her more than she loves me," Jackson said staring into her eyes.

"Not many men are capable of humbling themselves like you are planning to do that is why I admire your dreams. I wish you will marry a good lady who will love you as much as you love her. I wish you won't end up marrying a b*tch who trample on your love and goodness," Jasmine said as she opened the door and step out of the car. She did not let him say what he had in mind.

"I don't know why one thing or the other always happens each time I muster up up the courage to tell her how I feel towards her. I can't believe she left the car before I could confess my feeling," Jackson said as he carried the jacket she had pulled off earlier. He came out of the car afterwards.

"Wear this or you are gonna catch a cold," Jackson said as he tried to cover her with the jacket but Jasmine quickly brush his hands off.

"Why do I need the jacket when you are here to embrace me if I feel cold?" Jasmine joked as she smiled at him. Jackson merely stares at her not knowing what to say or do about her shameless words.

After staring at the water for five minutes Jasmine unlocked her phone in her hand and navigate to her playlist. She located her hip-hop list and then press a particular song she loves so much.

"Let this well-endowed lady shows you why men can't seem to take their eyes off her. Enjoy the dance as much as you could because you might never get to see it again since she will be a married lady soon," Jasmine said as she winked naughtily at Jackson sitting on the bonnet of the car. She dropped the cellphone on the car close to where Jackson sits.
