Two days passed in the blink, and now the airship is flying through the northern part of the continent. Sometimes, when the clouds don't obstruct my vision, I can see beautiful vast snowy fields down below.
Our destination is Kiave; it is a big mountain range on the north, we are going to destroy The Station of the Grimm Monsters that is deep into the mountain, from the map the team leader had shared, it looked like we will have to climb some mountains to reach our destination.
The airship will not directly take us to The Station of the Grimm Monsters, that would be like telling them we are destroying the camp. We are going to attack the camp sneakily. Their type of strategy is best to destroy such big camps when you have small numbers.
The Airship will take us to one of the hidden Camps of the Continental Military; from there, we will move toward The Station.
We did not have the full details of the Mission yet, just the basic area so we could be prepared, we will likely get whole information before the mission starts.
I looked at the time again, seeing there was an hour remaining before we reached the hidden camp, I continued with my reading and training.
This is what I have been doing for the past two days; in the past two days, I have read most of the reading materials I have on the backlogs, some will remain, but I will finish it soon.
Training is not the only thing important in the fighting; knowledge is also just as important. Every week I would create my reading target and read it, though I don't have much time with all the training and missions, I still create enough time to read.
Time passed and soon I felt the airship going down. I wanted to watch the scenery below, but the small window had turned black for some reason.
Thud! Sup Sup...
A few minutes later, I felt the airship landing on the hard surface, and next second, the sound of the door opening started to ring out one by one. My door is also opened, but I did not walk out as it is not my time yet.
My cabin is still glowing, bathed in red. Only when the light turned Green will my turn will come to get out, which came after a few minutes of waiting. I got out of my pod and saw my teammates are in front and behind me, getting out of the airship in the order.
As I exited the airship, I saw teams that came out before standing before the young man and women who seemed to in the twenties.
They are giving off a deep oppressive aura, which even I wasn't able to measure up with my sensory abilities, but one thing is sure that they are not the powerhouses of the Knight stage, they are likely to be a powerhouse of Lord Stage or higher stage.
I controlled the unconscious shudder I felt with their aura and waited with my team for the rest of the teams to come out of the airship.
"Welcome to Hidden Camp 679; I am Author Ravious warden of this camp, all the arrangements for your mission have been made, I hope your mission would be successful and you all return alive," he said.
"If you have any problems or queries, you can ask Michelle, she will help you.," he said introducing the woman behind him, who is giving off the same type of aura as the man but hers is a little lighter, it is clear that she is a little weaker than him.
"Team leaders, please follow me to the Conference room while you all please go to the resting area, the map of the resting area had been already sent to your holo watches," she said before she left with team leaders.
Like she had had said, there is a map of this hidden facility in my holowatch. It is a big map bigger than I had imagined but only a small part in green invisible while the rest is in red and blurred.
We could only move in the small area while the rest were forbidden to us, and she did not have to tell us what would happen when we caught snooping around. This is a Military base, and it is very dangerous to snoop when you did not have enough authorization.
Sup!
We followed the map and went to the resting area that is assigned to us, I reached the room that is assigned to me and scanned my holowatch in it, and the door of the room was opened.
The room is very simple, it does not have anything except for a table and a small bed, there is an attached bathroom which is also small, but it was extremely clean and had all the basic amenities.
The first thing I did was to take the shower before wearing new clothes. It got out of my room and walked toward the cafeteria. When I got there, I found it already half-filled with members of many teams.
The cafeteria is big and has a separate space for the monster to eat; it is good that I did not have to send Ashlyn to the Monster area to eat as she would not have liked it at all.
Ashlyn can eat in a common area. Only monsters bigger than the half meter had to eat at the Monster area.
I looked around and soon found my teammates, I queued up the line with two plates, and a few minutes later, I walked toward my teammates with two filled plates. We ate while we talked, most of the talk about the Mission and Limited information we have.
This meeting that the team leader had gone to likely reveal all the information about the mission. I just want to get the whole mission details as soon as possible so that I can prepare myself mentally.
"Micheal, what do you think about this mission?" Sacha asked, "From the info, the team leader has provided us, this mission is extremely dangerous. If our luck is bad, we might all get exterminated." I said softly.
"F.u.c.k what are they are doing! They are sending six hundred of us to fight against thirty thousand Grimm Monsters. This is clearly a suicide mission." Charles raged again, but no one replied as we all know his anger is justified, and this mission really looked like a suicide mission.
I finished dinner and went back to my room with Ashlyn. I wanted to practice, but I did not as it usually takes an hour or more for my practice to be done.
I didn't want to get disturbed when Team Leader called for a meeting when she came out of the meeting, so I continued reading what I had been reading earlier.
Ting!
About an hour later, my holowatch rang out from the text from the team leader. Reading that, I got out of the bed immediately and walked toward the room of the team leader.
The room of the team leader is a little bigger than mine, but now it is jammed packed with chairs, half of these chairs already filled, and while others are filling by the seconds. I sat on the empty beside Tom and waited for the meeting to start.
