Ru Shi set the table with silverware and plates, and they sat down to eat.
"Wait, you aren't married right?" Ru Shi's asked him. He looked up, she was watching him from across the table, a thoughtful expression on her face.
"What? No! No, not yet Kitten," he saw the relief on her face.
Ru Shi didn't know what she would do if she felt this attracted to a married man. This would have broken all her morals.
"So how old are you?" Mu Chang asked her.
She looked young to have nearly got married. Thank God the jerk cheated on her.
She deserved better.
"Twenty-two, you?"
"Thirty, so you're still at university?"
"Yeah," just as she was answering she saw the collection of vinyl on the shelf. She got up and started flipping through them. She settled the needle in the groove and started playing it. The warm sound was soothing.
"I love this song!" Ru Shi lightened up, "my parents used to play it all the time."
The sound of old love washed over her and right away she felt calmer.
Ru Shi smiled with memory. "I remember, growing up, my parents would slow dance around the kitchen whenever it came on."
"Are they still together?" he asked.
She smiled sadly, "Well, in heaven, what about you?"
"Oh...I'm so sorry," Mu Chang said awkwardly, "my parents, the last time I checked they were somewhere in Africa enjoying married life as they said. My dad was very busy when I was growing up even though he would spend time with me and my mother anytime he got, it wasn't enough. So after I completed university he left the house to me and left with my mom traveling around the world," he said with a feeling of nostalgia.
"Well, you must miss them a lot."
"Yeah, so do you know how to sing?"
Ru Shi sat back on her chair, "well, I can barely sing in tune."
"You sound pretty good m.o.a.ning my name."
She blushed, looking down.
"Don't you like it?" He asked. She was picking at her noodles, taking sips of wine.
She gave him a bashful smile. "It's great. My stomach is just tied up in knots, that's all."
He sat back, relishing the sight of her. He has never met anyone who could make innocence look so damn s.e.xy. It drove him crazy when she stopped him back there at the couch, but he respected her too. Not many women would put on brakes especially not with him.
"Are you a v.i.r.g.i.n?" he asked bluntly.
Her eyes widen, "Mm well... yes, even though I made out with my ex a few times we didn't you know.....reach that part," she said shyly while avoiding eye contact.
"So why didn't you sleep with your ex?"
He didn't take his eyes off her. He couldn't believe she was so inexperienced. Everything about her screamed sensuality. The way she moved against him.
This girl was made for s.e.x.
"Well... I wanted to be a v.i.r.g.i.n bride, and he promised to wait for me. He was really perfect when I met him, I don't know what went wrong. Maybe he was tired of waiting."
She looked down, trying to hide her disappointment and the heartbreak in her eyes. He swears he could break the guy's jaw for making her feel this way.
"He's a goddamn fool," he told her. He couldn't believe anyone would betray her, he must have been blind and dumb not to cherish her. So he couldn't wait to marry her before sleeping with her why did he lie? And it would have been worth the wait, seeing her.
"It's fine." She shrugged it off with a sad smile.
"Well, our bodies were designed for p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e...you feel good as the world disappears as you fall into an abyss of passion."
He watched her eyes widened at his words, her eyes showed shock, but d.e.s.i.r.e and curiosity too.
"It's a crime he didn't wait for the wedding to teach you what you're capable of, you deserve to know just how good you could feel." He told her meaning every word.
Ru Shi blinked trying to think about what to say.
"What do you mean by to fall into the abyss of passsion?"
Ru Shi asked curiously.
"When I'm lost in the d.e.s.i.r.e when it all fades away, I forget everything. Stress, competition."
He told her. She let out a whispering shiver of a sigh. "That sounds wonderful," she murmured.
"To forget everything...'
Her eyes glazed over, her lips parted, soft and wet and crying out for him to take them.
Damn!
He can't hold back any longer. He got up and slowly walked over to her. She froze, looking up at him.
He held out his hand. "I made you a promise."
He told her his voice coming out low and horse with d.e.s.i.r.e. "I won't push you further than you're ready. But I can show you p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e as you've never dreamed of before..."
