Chapter 162 - Why Aren't You Pregnant Yet?

Ru Shi stared at her friend and couldn't believe what she just heard. "So you're saying that Liang Shao stayed at your place last night and nothing happened?" Shen Ruyi sighed. "Yes, for the hundredth time nothing happened. It's just urghh…." Shen Ruyi said in frustration. When she woke up this morning she saw that Liang Shao had made breakfast for her. He didn't say anything about what happened last night. They just ate in silence. After, that he offered to drop her at school. She is now beginning to question her charm.

Is she not pretty or s.e.xy? So many guys have been chasing her for god knows how long but it seems Liang Shao is immune to her. "Do you think it is because he is afraid of Mu Chang? Like a bro code or something." Ru Shi said as she taps her finger on her table. "Hmm. I just think he sees me as the little cousin of his best friend." Shen Ruyi said as she pouted. Ru Shi grinned as he hit her Shen Ruyi's shoulder.

"So why are you all worked up. Don't tell me you like that guy huh?" Shen Ruyi stiffened when she heard Ru Shi. "Who likes him?!" Shen Ruyi said as she snorted. "I just----" Shen Ruyi trailed off. Does she like him?

"You—just what?" just admit it already Xiao Ruyi. You like Liang Shao. Too bad the guy is slow. I have a feeling that he will sit by and let another prince come and take you away. Such a silly boy. That will be like a scene from a drama!" Ru Shi said as she chuckled.

"Ru Shi are you happy about my misfortune? Why is it that my luck with guys is so bad. It's like I'm cursed! Either they are with me for my money or they are too slow with this relationship stuff." Shen Ruyi sighed. She was going crazy just thinking whether Liang Shao likes her or not. She is afraid to get her hopes up then bam gets disappointed like always.

"Well, enough about me. Let's talk about you and cousin. How are things going between you two?" Shen Ruyi said as she stares at Ru Shi's stomach.

"What? Why are you looking at my stomach like that?" Ru Shi said as she held her stomach. Shen Ruyi laughed. "Well, I'm beginning to doubt my Cousin's ability. Why aren't you pregnant yet?" Ru Shi rolled her eyes. These pair of cousins why do they want her to pregnant? "I'm on pills silly." Shen Ruyi frowned when she heard her. "Ru Shi, you know using the pills too much will affect you. If you don't want to get pregnant I think you should use a c.o.n.d.o.m." Ru Shi blushed when she heard her. "What are you talking about?" Shen Ruyi burst into laughter when she saw Ru Shi blushing.

"Ok, I won't tease you again. So what have you planned for cousin's birthday? You gonna give him a romantic dinner and hot s.e.x?" Shen Ruyi said as she winked at Ru Shi. "L.e.w.d." Ru Shi said. Shen Ruyi burst out laughing. "Cousin has never celebrated his birthday since his sister died but I think he won't mind that romantic dinner and hot s.e.x!"

Ru Shi falls into deep thought as she thinks about what she should do for Mu Chang's birthday. Suddenly an idea appeared in her mind. She smiled faintly. She hopes Mu Chang will like the surprise. "Ru Shi, what are you planning with that smile on your face? I'm sure you're planning something for Cousin. Do you want to tell me?" Ru Shi looked at her phone and ignored Shen Ruyi. Looking through the pictures in her gallery an idea came in her mind.

"I have to go. Don't forget to pay for the drinks since is your treat." Ru Shi said as she stood up and picked up her bag.

"You where are you going? You're supposed to spend the day with me!" Shen Ruyi complained bitterly ever since her friend started dating her cousin, she rarely has time for her. She wants her friend back! Ru Shi waved her hands at her. "Later. Take care."

Just as Ru Shi exit from the door she bumped into someone because she was busily looking at her phone. "I'm very sorry. Please forgive me." The man looked at Ru Shi and frowned slightly. "Are you Ru Shi?" The man asked coldly. Ru Shi looked at the man with suspicion. She doesn't know him but she can feel the hate in his voice when he mentioned her name.

Seeing that she wasn't talking the man concluded it is her. He snorted. "I'm Qin Mo. Qin Jieli's father" Ru Shi smirked when she heard him. No wonder she can feel such hate when he mentioned her name. She bowed slightly as a form of greeting. Even though, the man was Qin Jieli's father he was an elder after all.

"What does Mr. Qin want to talk to me about? After all, we are not friends what do we have in common that we can talk about?" Ru Shi said as she smiled faintly. Qin Mo furrowed his brows when he heard her. Thinking about his daughter who is at home and has refused to eat for days he swallowed his anger.

"Trust me. What I have to say, Miss Ru will be very interested. Just a few minutes." Ru Shi looked at her watch and said, "okay just a few minutes. I hope Mr. Qin doesn't disappoint me and isn't planning on hurting me or we all know what Mu Chang will do when even a strand of my hair is hurt."
