The reason Fu Huai'an instructed Little Lu to go over with Lin Nuan was that he didn't understand Sun Miaomiao's character. He was worried that Sun Miaomiao might talk about this incident in a way that led Aunt Blessing to think Lin Nuan was a petty person.

Little Lu listened as Lin Nuan slowly spoke, not at all able to detect the anger in Lin Nuan's voice. Through the rearview mirror, he glanced at Lin Nuan, who was sitting in the back row with a slight and calm smile. He commented, "Madam, I think you're becoming more and more similar to Sir in terms of your disposition!"

Lin Nuan paused in surprise.

It was often said that one was marked by the company they kept. Having been with Fu Huai'an for so long, his aura had long seeped into her bones. They were becoming more similar… because they had conformed to each other, be it physically or spiritually.

There was no argument about it; Sun Miaomiao needed to bear full responsibility.

The person at the wheel of the Lincoln Stretch Limousine was clearly a chauffeur. He was standing at the spot where the car was hit, his hand touching the dented spot on the car door as he anxiously made a phone call. No matter how Lin Nuan looked at it, it didn't look like someone was forcefully dragging Sun Miaomiao to socialize.

"Little Lu, when you find Sun Miaomiao's information from when she registered for her internship, contact her parents or her school. The compensation for this car should be quite a big sum. Little Lu parked the car by the roadside, then turned on the double flashing lights before getting out of the car.

Upon seeing Little Lu, Sun Miaomiao's lips quivered, tears slipping down her cheeks continuously. Sun Miaomiao wiped her tears and walked towards Little Lu. She was just about to walk down the stairs when the Lincoln limousine's driver yanked her by her arm, the anxious look on his face morphing into a ferocious one. "Where are you going? You're leaving before we're done talking about the compensation for the car?"

"I…" Sun Miaomiao looked speechless, turning her head sideways and pleading with Little Lu to help her with those watery eyes of hers.

The corners of Little Lu's lips turned up. He smiled and buttoned his suit jacket properly before walking over leisurely. "Sir, why can't you talk things over properly instead of getting physical with a lady?"

Little Lu then whipped out his name card from his suit pocket and handed it to the driver, saying, "I'm the personal assistant of the Kaide Corporation's chairman, this is my name card!"

The driver didn't release Sun Miaomiao's slender wrist. He shot Little Lu a suspicious look before taking the name card. He stared at it for a while, then asked, "My car has been hit by her car. Are you going to pay the compensation for her?"
