Chapter 1209 - She’s a Natural-Born Actress!

Zhou Yuchen actually had a lot of questions to ask Yun Liuli, but he was never a good talker.

He was worried about Yun Liuli and was even more worried about the guy she liked. This guy seemed to be much older than her, and age gap aside, he was worried that this guy had used improper means to have her wrapped around his little finger.

Seeing that Zhou Yuchen agreed with her, Guan Nina said to Jacob Bellucci, “So, our Liuli is a beautiful heroine that you’ll only meet once in a blue moon! Don’t let our Liuli chase after you for too long! She’s very popular among the guys!”

“How many times have you said that?” Yun Liuli reminded her.

“I’m telling the truth. Nothing wrong with that!” Guan Nina smiled brightly.

Zhou Yuchen focused all of his attention on observing Jacob Bellucci.

Zhou Yuchen didn’t understand just what Yun Liuli liked about Jacob Bellucci. He didn’t seem to be friendly or a good talker. When Guan Nina talked to him, he always frowned and avoided her gaze, as if he felt very uncomfortable.

He was very different from what Zhou Yuchen imagined him to be. Zhou Yuchen thought… the guy Yun Liuli liked had to be someone tall and big, and someone that radiated positivity—someone different from him!

The guy in front of him was tall, but he definitely didn’t radiate positivity. On the contrary, he gave off a gloomy feeling…

Zhou Yuchen knew this gloomy feeling very well. It was identical to the gloominess that he exuded.

As a result, Zhou Yuchen boldly wondered if Jacob Bellucci had caught Yun Liuli’s eye because he was also once bullied.

After all, Yun Liuli loved to help piles of mud like them.

Guan Nina stood at the path in front of the hospital. She turned back to glance at the hospital and smiled. Both she and Yun Liuli had to work harder.

With Sheng Kang taking care of Jacob Bellucci, Yun Liuli followed the cast and crew of “The General” to film a variety show with her mind at ease.

The variety show was filmed indoors and hence wouldn’t be physically demanding. They only had to play some entertaining games like charades or Undercover, that or some games that required more thinking.

Yun Liuli was the actress who appeared the most in “The General” and played Xie Xun’s love interest, so she fully deserved to be considered the female lead.

On the set of the variety show, the host asked Director Hu why he cast a newbie like Yun Liuli as the female lead.

Director Hu smiled and replied, “The truth is… Yun Liuli originally followed her manager, Fang Yan, to the set to see how movies are filmed. When I saw Yun Liuli… my thoughts were the same as the netizens’. She fit the image of the princess I had in my mind. Initially… I hadn’t planned for the princess to appear on screen—after all, I imagined her to be an extremely beautiful lady.
