Lin Nuan was speechless.

She swallowed back the words of solace to Bai Xiaonian—she couldn't bear to break her defenses.

"Take good care of uncle!" Lin Nuan urged Bai Xiaonian.

"His illness isn't that bad. He said he's still going to watch your show tonight!" Bai Xiaonian smiled and looked full of hope. She continued, "As long as I can make enough money to get him to take the medication, he still has a long time to go…"

Bai Xiaonian sounded light-hearted. Lin Nuan urged her to look after her father, yet she insisted on sending Lin Nuan off.

Bai Xiaonian stood outside the hospital door for a long time as she watched Lin Nuan drive away in the Maybach in the pouring rain. She then went back upstairs.

By the time Lin Nuan got Fu Huai'an's call that he reached Jincheng, it was already 6:50 p.m.

She urged him to get some rest then hung up the phone so she wouldn't disturb his work.

Lin Nuan ate some food then sunk in the sofa to read about the guests who were coming on her next show.

Her show went on air at eight in the evening. Surprisingly the viewership rate bounced to second place and kept rising steadily. When it aired for fifteen minutes, the viewership rate had risen to the top.

After half an hour, Lin Nuan got out of a shower and saw congratulatory texts from her colleagues. Miss Xia's phone call came in.

"Lin Nuan, you're going to be famous!" Miss Xia couldn't contain the excitement in her voice. "Do you know the viewership rate of your show? 1.881%. The market share is now 17.82%."

The show was the best one Miss Xia took up since she entered the business.

Despite it being expected that the show would have high ratings due to its reporting of the disappearance of flight T-324, Miss Xia was still overtly excited.

Before she went to bed, Lin Nuan received Bai Xiaonian's call in the bathroom. She made her check the top searches on Weibo and said she would reveal that it was Lin Nuan who went to Iraq for Wen Moshen that year if she got angry with her.

Lin Nuan calmed herself down and comforted Bai Xiaonian. She then took a look at her Weibo.

"A Sunday Date" together with Lin Nuan, Wen Moshen, and Gu Hanyan's names were on the top three of the hot search list.

Some user posted a video of Wen Moshen calling Lin Nuan "Nuan Nuan" and it spread like wildfire. People were all guessing that it was Lin Nuan who was Wen Moshen's love.

There were even posts that revealed Lin Nuan's background in detail and showed how she once had a fiancé, Gu Shaoting, who was the only son of the Gu family in Haicheng, and that Wen Moshen and Lin Nuan had a considerable age gap…

As well as the poignant yet deep gaze Wen Moshen's had when he looked into Lin Nuan's eyes on the show, and how Gu Hanyan's pupils contracted when Wen Moshen called Lin Nuan by Nuan Nuan due to a slip of the tongue.

All of that showed that Lin Nuan was the girl that Wen Moshen had once loved.

The post and video spread like wildfire on Weibo. All these posts carried the hashtag #Wen Moshen, Lin Nuan, Gu Hanyan#.

Surprisingly, people's focus wasn't on the missing flight but Wen Moshen's relationship!

Some users noticed Gu Hanyan mentioned on the show that she and Wen Moshen had broken up before going on the flight. Hence some guessed that Wen Moshen was preparing to confess to Lin Nuan after coming back.

Wen Moshen's seemingly light-hearted speech on the show was actually said to protect Lin Nuan. If she really had no feelings towards him, why would he break up with Gu Hanyan, who loved him deeply, before boarding the flight?
