Lin Nuan had a loosely-tied ponytail and wore a white sweatsuit, black leggings, and dark purple track shoes, giving her a youthful and vibrant look.

"Did you come here to find me? Why didn't you call? How long have you been waiting downstairs?" Lin Nuan smiled gently.

Lin Nuan no longer had to suppress any feelings when she met Wen Moshen. It could have been her skilled restraint or simply the fact that her feelings faded with time.

There were many rumors about the relationship between Lin Nuan, Wen Moshen, and Gu Hanyan.

Wen Moshen felt especially uneasy when he saw how netizens who knew nothing about the truth would attack Lin Nuan. He wanted to take some kind of action, yet he knew he would make a scene and embarrass her instead.

He was concerned Lin Nuan would cry out her eyes at home, and also at the fact that he would probably take her into his embrace if he ever saw her vulnerable self. He tried to cut off those thoughts about her since he was marrying Gu Hanyan.

He struggled in those thoughts about Lin Nuan for nearly ten hours. She looked young and maiden-like five years ago, but the woman in front of him appeared to be a mature young woman.

Wen Moshen had visible veins in his eyes since he missed a night's sleep. Lin Nuan's calm composure made it seem like nothing had happened.

He suppressed the burning agony in his heart as he stood before her with his hands in his pockets. He gazed into Lin Nuan's eyes intensely, as if he were trying desperately to search for any sign of disguise.

After a long pause, Wen Moshen finally said, "I just came here…"

There were quite a few cigarette butts at the spot where Wen Moshen was standing. Lin Nuan noticed but simply nodded instead of exposing his lie. "What's the matter?"

"I didn't think the show would cause such a huge sensation…"

Before Wen Moshen finished speaking, Lin Nuan's phone began to ring in her pocket. He stopped himself midway and said, "You should answer that…"

It was Fu Huai'an calling.

Lin Nuan answered his call. "Why didn't you sleep longer?" Lin Nuan spoke in a lowered and softened voice, unlike the way she talked to Wen Moshen.

"You went out? Why didn't you wake me up?" Fu Huai'an asked in his magnetic voice. Apparently, he was well rested.

Lin Nuan's speaker was on a moderate volume, so Wen Moshen couldn't hear what the other end was saying. He could, however, tell that it was a male voice.

The cool wind brushed through Lin Nuan's hair as she squinted her eyes to prevent the loose strands from falling inside.

"I went to buy some food in the supermarket. You were sleeping like a baby, so I decided not to wake you up. Get some more rest… I'll be back in half an hour."

Wen Moshen instinctively wanted to reach out to tuck her strands of hair behind her ear. She was one step ahead and brushed her hair behind her ear.

Sleeping… going back home… once Wen Moshen pieced them together, he naturally saw a romantic scene.

He felt slightly irritated and took out his cigarette box from his suit to whip out a cigarette. Seeing her hang up the phone, he moved the cigarette away, frowning.

"Are you in love?" Wen Moshen couldn't help but ask. He felt too anxious not to do so.

Lin Nuan grasped the phone in her hand and flashed a pretty smile.
