Chapter 257 - Accident

"It's time to wake up. Oh yeah, are you feeling better? Doesn't your stomach hurt anymore?". asked Julian.

"Actually, why? Some days I feel my body is weak even though I eat a lot and every time I drink soft drinks my stomach immediately cramps and hurts. But, last night I felt like I wanted to die. Do I have a deadly disease? Qiara asked, confused.

Julian was surprised to hear Qiara's story, the doctor said, because of Qiara's ignorance, she had endangered her own pregnancy. 

"Honey, since when do you drink fizzy drinks?". Asked Julian frantically.

"Yesterday I bought it when I was looking for some light snacks to accompany me to play games, after drinking it my stomach immediately tense, but only for a moment so I didn't tell you when you picked me up last night". Qiara explained. 

"That means you are allergic to soft drinks, so from now on don't ever touch that drink again. Do you understand?". Julian said firmly. 

"Yes". Qiara replied obediently.

"Alright, I'll clean up first, then I'll help you eat breakfast". Julian said in a soft tone of voice. 

"Ummm ... I want to eat and have to be fed, because usually when I'm sick, Mama always feeds me". Qiara said spoiled. 

Julian took a deep breath at how spoiled and grumpy bad girl was. However, she feels lucky that the baby is so strong, it's a miracle that the baby survived when her mother gave her a soft drink. 

"Alright. I'll feed you, you wait a minute!". Julian said in a soft voice. 

"I'm hungry now". Qiara said with teary eyes. 

Julian's expression became complicated, if he didn't obey Qiara's will, it was likely that she would cry because Qiara was fussy when she was hungry. 

"I want to pee for a while, I can't stand it! So, you are patient!". Julian said as he ran to the bathroom because he didn't want to see Qiara's frowning face that would keep her from leaving. 

Sure enough, if Qiara immediately left Julian sullen when she was hungry. 

Not long after, Julian immediately came out of the bathroom after he was done with his business.

Instantly he was greeted by Qiara with tears that had already fallen to her cheeks. 

"Why are you crying?". Julian asked worriedly as he wiped Qiara's tears. 

"I am hungry!".

"Oh .... Alright, I'll feed you now!".

After saying that, Julian took the porridge that was still warm on the small table near the patient's bed. 

"This porridge is perfect for you, tastes good and is specially made by the maid at home with great affection, that she said!". Julian explained as he opened the lid of the bento box containing the porridge. 

"I will thank the waiter because she made this porridge for me". Qiara said excitedly. 

"That's good, then you have to get well quickly so you can go home quickly". Said Julian while feeding Qiara. 

Without saying anything, Qiara immediately nodded her head while gaping. 

Seeing that Qiara was about to eat well, Julian was relieved, however, he was shocked when he saw Qiara vomiting. 

"Honey, you are okay right?". Asked Julian frantically. 

"I don't like porridge, my stomach gets sick every time I eat it". Qiara said while removing the porridge with her hand.

"Alright, I will not feed you this porridge again!". Julian said while keeping the porridge away from Qiara. 

After getting Qiara to drink, Julian gave her a drink and then laid her on the bed. 

"Is it good?". Julian asked with a sense of relief when he saw that Qiara was no longer vomiting. 

"My stomach feels uncomfortable". Said Qiara while hiding her face in Julian's arms. 

"I will call a doctor for you!".

"No need, you help me to rub my stomach, maybe it will be better, because I do not like doctors". Qiara said while whining spoiled. 

"Alright, you lie down properly! Let me rub your stomach". Julian said while helping Qiara to correct her sleeping position. 

After Qiara's sleeping position looked comfortable, Julian immediately exposed Qiara's clothes to the bottom of her chest, exposing Qiara's stomach. Instantly Julian rubbed her gently and lovingly.

Without realizing it, Qiara fell asleep again because she didn't feel hungry anymore. 

Julian also enveloped Qiara after seeing her sleep very soundly. 

At that time, Julian's cell phone rang, immediately he went straight to Qiara's balcony to receive a call because it was from Andi.

"Hello?". Said Julian first in a whisper so that Qiara didn't wake up from her sleep. 

"Hello boss! I want to report something to you!". Andi said from across the phone. 

"Say!". Exclaimed Julian in a cold voice. 

"Look boss, there has been an accident at the construction site of a new mall in C city. Several workers were seriously injured and one person died".

Julian was surprised to hear what Andi said, this is the first time he has experienced this kind of problem throughout his career as the president of the largest company in city A.

"Have you investigated what causes it?". Asked Julian who began to feel suspicious. 

"After conducting an investigation, it turned out that the wall collapsed and hit some of the workers because the material was not good so it could easily collapse".

"What? How could it not be good? Doesn't the company always give big funds so they can buy the best materials? Tell me who is in charge of this project!". Julian is getting angry.

Julian's thoughts are now divided in two, on the one hand there is his wife who depends on him. On the other hand, there is work that is his responsibility. 

"I will send details of this incident along with who is in charge to your email so you can make decisions about what to make. I will wait for your orders". Andi said.

"All right, do it quickly!". Exclaimed Julian firmly.

After saying that, Julian closed his call with a dark expression. 

Not long after that, Julian returned to contact Andi after reading the email.

"Hello boss!".

"Go to town C! Take care of everything until it's finished, provide appropriate compensation for the victim and his family, after that you investigate who is the culprit of this incident!".

"Yes boss! I will carry out your orders and today I will go to town C. But, can I ask?".. Andi said, asking doubtfully.
