Chapter 278 - I Want You To Come Home Right Away!

"Okay, I won't make it difficult for you. Okay, I'll wait at the dining table".

After saying that, Qiara returned to the dining room. She sat neatly in the chair waiting for Natalie.

Just then, her cell phone rang and it was Julian. With a bursting smile, Qiara picked up the phone. 

"Hello?". Qiara said after she shifted the green icon on her cellphone. 

"Have you had dinner?". Asked Julian from across the phone. 

"Here I am going to dinner with Natalie. Oh yeah, what time are you coming home? I don't want to sleep alone". Qiara replied with a frown. 

"I'll be home soon. Oh yeah, do you want to get something? Or do you want to eat ice cream?". Asked Julian in a soft voice. 

"Ummm ... I just want you to hurry home. Because what I need is you nothing else". Qiara replied innocently in accordance with the demands of her feelings that could not last too long away from Julian. 

Hearing Qiara's answer, Julian immediately smiled because he knew that the baby always helped him to keep Qiara away from him. 

"Yes dear, I'm home now!".

After saying that, Julian hung up on him because he wanted to get his job done right away.

Meanwhile, Qiara was happy that Julian was coming home soon. 

"Qiara ...".

Hearing the scream, Qiara was immediately startled as she turned to the source of the sound. 

"Qiara ... I'm really happy!". Natalie said, hugging Qiara after she ran from her room. 

"Ukhuk ... Ukhuk ...". Qiara choked because she felt suffocated by Natalie's embrace.

"Oops ... Sorry! Are you okay?". Natalie said as she let go of her embrace. 

"It's okay. Oh yeah, what makes you look happy? Did you win the lottery?". Qiara asked, smiling with an astonished expression. 

"I was accepted to work at the restaurant I wanted, now I'm not a waiter but a singer for people who want to lips... Hehehe ...". Natalie shouted with joy, jumping up and down. 

"Congratulations, good luck ... Maybe it started out like this, but who knows one day it will become a famous singer". Qiara said with a big smile.

After enjoying the joy, they finally ate together after all the food was served.

A few moments later, they had finished eating and were sitting in the living room chatting.

"Oh yeah, what date do you usually have menstruation?". Natalie asked suddenly because she wanted to match her schedule.

"Menstruation? Wait, why do I feel something is wrong in me? Yes, I think I haven't had my period for a long time. What's the date already?". Inner Qiara confused.

"Qiara, why are you silent?". Natalie asked when she saw Qiara looking down in silence.

"Natalie, what month and what date now?". Qiara asked with a tense and confused face. 

"This is September the fifth. What's wrong?". Natalie replied, asking confusedly. 

Hearing Natalie's answer, Qiara immediately checked her cellphone. Immediately she was surprised because as far as she remembered she usually had her period at the end of the month. 

"It's been more than two months late, what's wrong with me? Why haven't I had my period yet?". Qiara's mind was trembling and a gaze filled with fear. 

"Qiara, what's wrong? Why is your expression so scared?". Natalie panicked when she saw Qiara's unsightly expression. 

"Is it natural for us to come late in our month? For example, late for a month or more?". Qiara asked without answering Natalie's question.

"Ummm ... There is a time when we are sometimes one month late if we are not married, and that is normal. But, if you are married and have had sexual relations with your husband, then there is a possibility that you do not have your period a sign of pregnancy or interference". Natalie explained.

Hearing Natalie's explanation, Qiara glared with a racing heart. 

"I could not be pregnant, right? Julian had promised me not to make me pregnant. This must be wrong". Inner Qiara gritted her teeth. 

"Maybe you are pregnant?". Natalie asked with a complicated expression. 

"Impossible! Because when pregnant people usually vomit. But, I never vomited or craved anything. Besides, Julian and I have agreed to postpone having children".

"Maybe you are just late because there is a disturbance or something, wait until next month you will check it". Natalie said.

Qiara also tried to ignore it and returned to enjoying the small talk.

A few moments later Julian came home and went straight to his room.

In the room, Qiara was back and forth on the bed because she couldn't sleep. 

"Honey, can't you sleep?".

Hearing Julian's voice followed by the sound of the door closing, Qiara immediately got up and got out of her bed. 

Not long after, she ran to hug Julian because she couldn't wait for Julian to come to her. 

"Honey, what's wrong with you? Why are you hugging me? I haven't showered yet". Asked Julian who had just taken off his jacket, Qiara immediately hugged him. 

Before answering Julian's question, Qiara was shocked by the sound of Julian's cell phone ringing in his pocket. 

"Sorry dear, I'll pick up the phone for a moment!". Julian said as he shifted the green icon on his cellphone. 

Qiara took off her embrace and sat on the edge of the bed. 

"Hello Julian! I need your help!". Said someone from across the phone.

"What is wrong?". Julian replied in a cold voice. 

"I need your connections to release my brother from the accusations that have led to him". The man said that none other than his best friend from high school who is now his business partner named Dimas. 

"We'll talk tomorrow because I'm at home with my wife!". It was clear Julian who didn't want to discuss anything while he was with Qiara. 

After saying that, Julian hung up on his call without waiting for Dimas' answer from across the phone. 

"Who are you talking to?". Qiara asked in surprise when she saw that Julian was already sitting beside her. 

Julian immediately turned to her with a smile and then said. "Honey, are you sleepy? Oh yeah, before that, did you brush your teeth? Because your teeth are still yellow. Hehehe ...".

Qiara's expression turned popping at Julian's mockery, she asked what was the answer.

"I asked, who called you earlier? Why did you even reply by asking back? I'm annoyed with you". Qiara replied, looking away. 

Julian was really happy to irritate Qiara and frown, it was the sweetest look he could see from his adorable wife.
