Chapter 372 - Locked Up

Qiara kept shouting until she felt tired, just at that moment she heard laughter from behind the bathroom door.

"Shit, looks like I'm locked up here. Should I teach them a lesson by contacting Maxwell? But, I'm afraid Maxwell will be puffed up and feel needed". Inner Qiara.

Right at that time her cell phone rang and it was from Aurel, Qiara immediately picked it up because she also intended to call Aurel.

"Where are you Liana? Why are you taking so long?". Aurel asked irritably because she had been waiting in the restaurant for a long time.

"I was locked in the bathroom, how about this?". Qiara replied while glancing in various directions to find a way out.

Aurel was shocked after hearing Qiara's confession.

"What's with that face?". Asked Maxwell who sat across from her with Kevin.

They did make an appointment to have lunch together at Maxwell's request, but without the other knowing.

"Liana to the lock in the bathroom". Aurel replied.

Maxwell immediately took out his cellphone and made a call.

"Hello boss, how can I help you?". Ask the security guard on the other side of the phone.

"Quickly open the bathroom door for women, an important person is trapped inside". Maxwell's orders.

"What? How come? Alright, I'll open it quickly". The security guard immediately panicked because he was afraid of being blamed by Maxwell.

"Good. I'll send you good food if she can get out sooner".

"Yes boss!". After that, the security guard immediately ran through the women's bathrooms that were all over the building.

Aurel and Kevin gaped at the sight of Maxwell making an unannounced call.

"Why are you looking at me like that?". Asked Maxwell, chewing his food.

"Who did you call earlier? Was that Rafael? But, if it was Rafael, wouldn't it take a long time for him to come?" Asked Kevin, confused.

"I called the security guard at the front door".

Once again Aurel and Kevin were surprised, how could Maxwell keep the number of a security guard.

"Since when did you become familiar with YM Entertainment security guards? You are not familiar with your clients, you don't even save my number. How is a security guard more special than me?". Asked Kevin in surprise.

"Since he's on duty, I prefer to keep the numbers of people who risked their lives for everyone's safety. At least they won't contact me for anything unnecessary". Maxwell replied casually.

"Hahaha...". Kevin laughed out loud at Maxwell's answer, he felt that his profession was not appreciated.

Aurel, who had been silent, was immediately surprised to see Kevin laugh out loud.

"I thought he was a robot so he never smiled. But, in fact he was human because he could laugh that wide". Inner Aurel.

"Never mind, don't be jealous like that. I did save their number, but I didn't memorize it so I had to look up their name in the contact. But, if I save your number in my brain. So, I don't need to save it".

Kevin's expression softened immediately after hearing what Maxwell said.

After that he continued his meal without paying attention to Maxwell.

Meanwhile, Qiara managed to get out of the bathroom with the security guard's help.

"Thank you sir!".

"You're welcome, miss!"

After that Qiara immediately rushed after Aurel to the restaurant.

Arriving at the restaurant, Qiara immediately showed her respect and apologized for being late.

"Actually who is the boss here, you really waste my time!". Kevin asked with a cold gaze even though Kevin already knew why Qiara was late. 

"Sorry boss Kevin, I don't mean to be late. But, I ...".

"Never mind, don't argue! Let the past pass. Because you guys will only spoil my appetite. Better, you sit down and have a lot of lunch, because we are being treated by Kevin". Maxwell said with a smile towards Qiara.

Maxwell deliberately stops Qiara from saying what she has experienced, because Maxwell doesn't want to spoil the atmosphere of his precious lunch with Qiara.

"What? How could I treat you, didn't you invite me to lunch?". Kevin said, looking sarcastically at Maxwell.

"Every now and then you treat us, aren't you a great director at YM Entertainment? After all, treating us won't make you poor". Said Maxwell while tapping Kevin on the shoulder with a serious expression.

"Yes, don't be stingy like that. We're partners". Aurel said while winking at Kevin.

"You turned out to be in cahoots". After saying that, Kevin enjoyed his meal and ignored Aurel and Maxwell.

"I never thought that YM Entertainment people were cute and cool. I was lucky to know them". Inner Qiara. 

After thinking about it, Qiara sat down beside Maxwell, who was deliberately vacated.

A few moments later.

While enjoying dessert, Aurel suddenly noticed Maxwell's unusual behavior towards her care artist. 

"I feel something strange, does Maxwell really like Liana really?". Inner Aurel.

Maxwell didn't hesitate to show his concern for Qiara so that Qiara felt uncomfortable, even though Qiara was still polite to Maxwell.

Meanwhile Kevin was silent because he did not want to interfere with the strange relationship shown by Maxwell.

After lunch, Qiara and Aurel returned to the shooting location.

"Who do you think has locked you in the bathroom?". Aurel asked when they were already in the car to the next shooting location.

"I only heard the laughter of the women. But, I'm not very clear". Qiara replied.

Instantly Aurel paused to think for a moment. A moment later, she turned her head back to Qiara as she said. "From now on you should avoid interacting with people who attract attention, like Nathan. Because you are a new artist and it is not good to start a scandal or generate hatred as early as possible. I think they did it because they were jealous of you".

"I will always remember your advice!". Qiara said confidently.

"Well, forget about the incident and take it as a lesson, because the world of entertainment is not as beautiful as others imagine. More precisely, the world of entertainment is like a minefield that is ready to explode at any time if one stepped wrong". Aurel didn't want to repeat the mistake a second time.

It was enough that she had to deal with a depressed artist and then commit suicide, all because she could not bear the insults from her fans and rivals.
