Chapter 381 - Refrain

"Really? You two-faced woman, she thinks boss Maxwell is stupid and can be lied to. Today she has made Helena angry because she reportedly was the cause of the breakup of the marriage. Mr Sandy was fired because of her too".

"You see, she won't be in the entertainment world for long. She won't be able to breathe the top air either. This sky drama will be launching soon, but she will be replaced before the show starts".

Hearing bad gossip about her made Qiara a little annoyed, but she was not interested in wasting her time on cheap gossip.

This is how it feels to be in the world of entertainment, there are always risks and scandals that will make an artist rise or fall far away. 

Qiara left after some of the artists who were talking about it left, after which she immediately followed Aurel to the car which would take her to the shooting location which would be held at night according to the existing script. 

"Are you ready to memorize the script?". Aurel asked after Qiara sat beside her.

"Yes, I was very ready". Qiara replied confidently because she had already memorized it several times.

"Alright, we will go now!". After that Aurel asked the driver to run the car quickly.

Throughout the journey, Qiara's thoughts continued to be bothered by Zio, her son did not want to admit it, even preferring to call her aunt.

How should she live at Julian's house? Even though she is a wife, she can't say that to Zio.

"Zio really likes me, but she doesn't want to accept me as her mother, does this make sense?". Inner Qiara.

"Looks like you are restless? What's wrong?". Aurel asked in confusion when she saw Qiara fall silent. 

"Nothing, I'm just contemplating and gathering energy to be able to perform optimally tonight". Qiara replied with a smile at Aurel.

"Good. Oh yeah, I heard from another artist, Helena's marriage failed because you and boss maxwell and made a fuss? Is that true? And sorry that I wasn't there because the boss asked me to go somewhere else". Aurel asked, staring closely at Qiara's face.

Aurel's question made Qiara remember the incident this morning at the hotel where the failed marriage was going to take place. 

"That's not true, on the contrary, I was beaten by Miss Viona and the boss came to help me. Helena also heard from the boss that Mr. Sandy was fired so he canceled her marriage. That's what I heard also the reason". Qiara answered honestly. 

Of course Aurel trusted Qiara, because she was not a careless manager, she could tell which people were honest and lying. 

"Good, I'm relieved to hear the truth from you. But, it looks like Sandy is back to work because I heard this afternoon he was begging in front of Boss Max to be allowed back into the office. But, the rumor is that he doesn't want to continue his marriage with Helena anymore because he knows that the girl is a very crazy treasure". Aurel said with an expression of disgust.

"Never mind, we don't discuss them. Oh yeah, did you get that as for me?". Qiara shifted the conversation because she felt the conversation about this morning was not important.

"Of course, we'll come tomorrow to his office. I've never lost a job I've worked for. You don't just get one ad, but more than two. Therefore we have to be on time". Aurel said proudly. 

Qiara smiled and nodded immediately, she was grateful to have such an extraordinary manager as Aurel. She will not waste this opportunity. 

A few moments later.

They finally arrived at the shooting location, there was already Kevin and Maxwell standing upright while watching the shooting for other character scenes.

"It's very unusual for that strange boss to be on the set. Not only that, he also looks really good with Kevin. Usually Boss Max always makes him angry". Aurel said as they were walking towards Kevin and Max who were seen chatting. 

"Maybe there are things the boss should review that's why he's here, Mr Kevin is not really grumpy, he just gets annoyed quickly. Hehe ..". Qiara said with a smile, even though she was new to Kevin, she could already guess what Kevin's character was.

At that moment, Qiara clearly remembered what Maxwell said when he drove her home, she was not nice to him and even snapped. Instantly Qiara felt uncomfortable with the situation. 

"It's over my history, will Max's boss want to forgive me. Is it possible that I will be kicked out of this production because of my bad attitude towards him?". Qiara thought even though Aurel had told her about Maxwell, but Qiara still felt scared and did not feel safe because Maxwell was not a predictable person.

" Hello ".

Hearing Aurel's voice greeting him, Maxwell and Kevin immediately turned their heads together.

"You guys came too, how about Liana, are you ready to shoot?". Kevin asked without expression as usual. 

"Yes". Qiara replied quickly while showing her respect. 

"He saw me, but why is he just smiling, is he not mad at me?". Inner Qiara while stealing glances at Maxwell.

"Was he like that from birth? I really can't tell when the boss is angry and not, because he's always smiling". Qiara thought a second time because she was still confused and curious about Maxwell's strange attitude.

"Good, you have to be serious because soon we will be launching the premiere for this drama, as well as introducing the players. And one more thing, you should not be bothered by various bad comments!". Said Kevin with authority. 

"I will work hard for it, thanks for the advice". Qiara replied excitedly. 

"Don't get me wrong, I encourage all YM Entertainment artists, so it's not just you". Kevin's words made his point clear because he didn't want to appear favoritism and invite misunderstanding.

"Of course, I am not a person who easily misunderstands". Qiara said again with a smile on her face. 

Aurel and Max also smiled at what Kevin said, who was irritable and rarely smiled.
