Chapter 393 - Roles Brand

Qiara admires Reva who is beautiful and has curly lashes with her white skin. 

"Wait a minute!". Kevin said while watching Qiara from top to bottom with a complicated expression.

Qiara stopped talking to Reva and turned to Kevin, confused.

"Why is Mr Kevin watching me like that, is there something wrong?". Qiara asked in surprise. 

Without answering Qiara's question, Kevin turned to Aurel and asked. "Aurel, you said that we have to wait for Liana to prepare her makeup and clothes. But, the person we are waiting for is ready. Then, why are we still here?".

Instantly Aurel and Reva immediately noticed Qiara.

Aurel was surprised to see the makeup that was so natural but beautiful and looked simple yet elegant. Not only that, Aurel was also surprised when she saw the clothes Qiara was wearing.

"Has YM spent a lot of money just to buy a super expensive dress from the Roles brand. I think this is a waste". Kevin said curtly when he was sure that Qiara's clothes were indeed a famous expensive brand from the most famous boutique in the city.

Qiara is still confused by Kevin's words, because to be honest she doesn't know anything about luxury brands for clothing.

"You're wrong, I never bought or subscribed to the luxury brand Roles. I think it's only up to a certain standard even if we are one of the members there". Aurel said, confused. 

Kevin was silent at Aurel's explanation, not because he couldn't afford it, but Kevin felt it was too much for newcomers to use. Meanwhile, Roles is the number one luxury brand in the City.

For a moment he suspected that it was Maxwell who had given the shirt to Qiara. However, he had to ask questions before he was considered accusing and misunderstood.

"Liana, do you know that what you are wearing is the number one brand in this city?". Kevin asked Qiara. 

Reva is also curious because she never got the chance to use the Roles brand either. 

"Did you buy by ...". Before Aurel had the chance to mention the name of the person, Qiara immediately shook her head because she could already guess that the one suspected was Maxwell. 

"This is only my friend's clothes that I borrowed because I was in a hurry. Not only that, my grooming was also helped by her". Qiara explained with a reassuring expression. 

"Your friend must be a rich man. Because the cheapest Roles brand costs fifty million. Judging from the shape of the dress and the fabric, it could cost close to hundreds of millions". Aurel said, who was very experienced with clothes. 

Qiara was shocked as she glared at Aurel. She did not expect that the price of this dress that looks simple and small has such an expensive price.

"Never mind, you guys don't discuss things that are not important. You three better get down now. I'll catch up after boss Max arrives". Kevin said who felt that the program had started and they shouldn't be late.

"Oh yeah, I forgot that Boss Max was invited by Noble as one of the influential businessmen in the entertainment world. Alright, I'll go in now". After that, Aurel turned towards Reva and Qiara in turn and then asked. "Are you ready?"

"We are ready ..". Reva and Qiara answered confidently. 

"Good. Then, come on in!". After that the three of them got out of the car.

This time they entered through the main door, Qiara was a little nervous because this was the first time she had passed the red carpet with many cameras on her.

For newcomers, they don't ask many questions because Qiara also hasn't had any scandals to be discussed, nor has the drama starring been launched yet so no one knows her yet.

Shortly after that, the program started with the MC's voice blaring across the room.

After finishing with the opening ceremony and speeches. MC returned to play its role when he saw two important people in the city coming from behind different doors. 

"Finally, two handsome men as well as the best businessmen in this city came. Give applause!". The MC immediately applauded, followed by all the guests.

Instantly, all eyes were on the person who had just arrived. Maxwell entered from the right with Kevin and Rafael, while Julian came through the left door with Andi.

"You are good friends, just come together". Kevin whispered when he saw Julian.

Maxwell didn't respond to what Kevin said because this wasn't the time for reunions or nostalgia with old friends.

Since this was the first time he wanted to come to an event like this, Maxwell became the center of everyone's attention, especially those who didn't know him.

"Geez, who would have thought that if Noble invited those two great businessmen to this event, I wouldn't regret coming".

"Oh my God, isn't that Mr. Ju? He's getting more handsome after coming back from Europe".

"I'm sure that he must be planning a big project here".

"However, it is not that Mr. Ju has a precious son who until now no one knows who his mother is. Does Mr. Ju have children outside of marriage?".

"Don't say carelessly because the person you are talking about is not someone careless. So, you better watch your mouth!".

Hearing the whispers of the guests in front and beside her, Qiara immediately looked towards the front, where the man she loved was sitting quietly on the left seat, while Maxwell sat on the right with Kevin and Rafael.

Tonight they come as guests of honor because Noble often collaborates with the two companies. 

"Julian, how could he be in front of there? He didn't tell me that he was coming to this event. Did he hide it on purpose?".. Inner Qiara while biting her lower lip.
