Chapter 428 - Wedding Day

"Why should I be afraid?". Natalie asked, looking at Kevin with a look full of meaning.

"Because I am a handsome man. Hehe ..". Kevin replied confidently then carved a little smile on his handsome face.

"You are a handsome boss. Hehehehe". Natalie supported Kevin's attitude because she thought it was funny.

"Good, when you can smile it means you are healthy. Now, wake up and wash your face because you have to practice today!".

After saying that, Kevin immediately left the room without giving Natalie a chance to ask. 

"How come I never see Gavin again? Where is the kid?". Natalie thought as she watched Kevin's bedroom door.

For some reason Natalie wanted to see Gavin so badly, but that kid always hid whenever she was at Kevin's house. She wanted to ask Kevin, but she was embarrassed.

After thinking about it, Natalie hurried out of bed and went to the bathroom, her body still weak.

At the same time, when Kevin rescued Natalie, Jasmin sneaked into the Villa after Mr. Joseph's bodyguard managed to block Maxwell's three bodyguards from saving Nathan.

Because Mr. Joseph's bodyguards were too many, Maxwell's three bodyguards were overwhelmed to fight back. Meanwhile, even more bodyguards were sent to help Kevin save Natalie.

"Don't you dare touch me, I will sue you!". Jasmin shouted to the guards who held her. 

"Forgive us young ladies, but we have no choice but to arrest you!". Answer the bodyguard. 

"How dare you say that, don't you know who I am?". Jasmin shouted.

"Because I know who you are, therefore I am detaining you. Even if it is Mr. Ju, I will still hold him, because it is an order. Be patient, miss, you will only be detained until Young Master Nathan's wedding is held tomorrow morning". Said the guard. 

Jasmin was surprised when she heard what the bodyguard said, she really wanted to contact Julian but her bag was arrested by the guard. 

Meanwhile, the bodyguard immediately left the room where he was holding Jasmin.

"Hey ... Stupid, open the door! I'll kill you when I get out of here!".

Jasmin keeps hitting the door of the room screaming. However, he was only wasting her time because the bodyguard didn't even listen to her. 

After tired of screaming, Jasmin finally gave up and lay on the bed in annoyance. 

Meanwhile Nathan was immediately taken away to a different place from his sister. 

"Let me go!". Nathan said with a dark expression, he did not know why he was suddenly transferred, besides that he also did not know that his favorite sister was locked up in that place too. 

"Sorry young master, but we have to take you out of here according to Mr. Joseph's orders!". The guard said politely. 

"Humans like Papa can't be given a heart, I'm not a kid anymore to be treated like this. But I don't have the strength to escape. Natalie, I'm sorry!". Nathan thought with a sad expression. 

Nathan felt hopeless because he considered himself very weak and did not have any abilities. Especially having to protect Natalie.

Not long after that Nathan immediately followed the guard obediently.

The next morning. 

Mr. Joseph came to Nathan's room smiling.

"My son is very handsome". Said Mr. Joseph while hugging Nathan, who was already wearing his wedding suit. 

"Is Papa satisfied?". Nathan asked without any expression. 

"It's for your happiness, today must be successful if you don't want your woman to get hurt!". Mr. Joseph said with a smile. 

He put all his strength into realizing that sudden wedding, all invitations spread out in one day. 

Even though the Clara family was confused, they still obeyed Clara's wishes.

Nathan was surprised when he heard what his father said, he did not know that Natalie was also arrested for the sake of the smooth running of his marriage. It's just that Mr Joseph is hiding the fact that Natalie is free. 

"What did Papa do to her?". Nathan asked, grinding his teeth. 

"Just soothe her so that you don't get too sad to see you married. Okay, Papa will come out first to greet guests. Think of this hotel room as your own room". After saying that Mr. Joseph left Nathan's room smiling with satisfaction. 

Nathan was at a loss for words, he had no chance to run away anymore because his father wouldn't just let him go, especially now that Natalie was being held hostage.

"'Natalie, I'm sorry. It's all my fault that you have to go through terrible things like this. I'll make sure that Papa will not dare to hurt you. He is a cruel Papa, just for the sake of strengthening his network, he sacrificed his son's heart". Nathan thought as he stood by the window of JJ Group's hotel room.

Nathan looked out the window hoping for a miracle today, it was not the bride he hated, but his marriage was only used as a tool to expand their business ties. 

For Nathan, he was the saddest man on earth.

"Nathan?".

Jihan walked into Nathan's room without knocking on the door. Instantly Nathan turned and saw Jihan.

In fact, what Nathan hoped was Jasmin or Julian who came so he could ask for help. 

Where are his older sister and his older brother when he needs help? 

"What is wrong?". Nathan asked with a cold expression. 

"Mama said that you are very happy with your wedding today. But, after I saw your bride and groom, I began to doubt. I also overheard Papa talking to his bodyguard about a woman they were in trouble with. Is that your girlfriend named Natalie?". Jihan asked after she stood right in front of her brother. 

Jihan and her parents who took care of her arrived in the city yesterday afternoon, they were suddenly asked to return home by Mr. Joseph to attend Nathan's wedding. 

"Maybe". Nathan replied unhappily. 

"Then, will Papa release her after you get married?".

Hearing Jihan's question, Nathan immediately looked away because he could no longer hold back his tears.

Jihan was just silent waiting for her brother's answer. To be honest, Jihan prefers Nathan to Julian. Because she spent more time with Nathan than Julian. 

The funny reason Jihan is that Nathan is more handsome and friendly than Julian. Meanwhile, Julian is always cold to her. 

"Why are you quiet?".. Asked Jihan, who could not stand waiting for Nathan's answer.
