Chapter 445 - Confidence

After that Nathan smiled and took Natalie away to the hall in the orphanage.

Kevin's room. 

Meanwhile, Kevin was amazed to see Maxwell smiling to himself like crazy, so he asked. "Why are you smiling yourself earlier, is there anything that makes your heart happy?".

"I was imagining how that respected Mr. Joseph would look if he found out that his son had married a woman he hated".

Kevin was shocked to hear what Maxwell said because he didn't know anything about it. 

"Who do you mean?".

"Nathan and Natalie are having a wedding today at an orphanage in town. Are you interested in getting in the way?". Answered Maxwell, squinting at Kevin suspiciously.

"She is my artist, and she has signed a contract with our agency, how can she possibly get married?". Kevin was annoyed by Maxwell's not telling him in advance. 

"You take it easy, she will still be in this agency. So, let them be happy, and you just look for other women. Of course, that can make you happy". Maxwell said simply. 

Kevin smiled bitterly at what his friend said, he didn't know what he felt like. 

"How about you? Will you look for other women if you know Liana already has a partner?".

"I've always been able to get what I want all this time, so Liana will be mine even though she might have become someone else's wife". Explained Maxwell, glaring confidently at the window.

Of course Maxwell is telling the truth because he is the one who can always get what he wants out of his life. 

"You are really insane. Well, I will start working now, so go out of my room because I'm tired of seeing you!". After saying that Kevin came out of the room. 

Maxwell just smiled amused at the behavior of his friend, not long after he followed Kevin out. 

A few minutes later.

Kevin sees Liana coming out of Sandy's room who is the CEO. Liana was immediately greeted by Aurel who was waiting for her outside.

Seeing Liana coming out, Aurel suddenly turned towards the door and found Liana with a flat face.

"What is wrong?".

"It is okay!".

"If there's nothing, why is your face like that?". Aurel asked, confused. 

Aurel did not understand Sandy who asked Liana to meet him alone while Liana was resting before her photo shoot for her latest ad. 

Aurel also looked at Qiara anxiously and invited Qiara to sit on the chair, Kevin was still standing observing the interaction of the two of them.

"Do I look like I have a problem?". Qiara asked with a smile. 

Aurel immediately nodded while holding Qiara's hand. 

"What did Mr Sandy say?".

"Just encouraging me to work harder and keep up the spirit. Apart from that, nothing is important".

"I can not believe that only that, because I know Mr. Sandy very well. So, tell the truth now!".

"I told you it's not important. Oh yeah, I'm going to the shoot alone today because I have something to do, so you just go first!". After saying that, Liana walked quickly leaving Aurel without waiting for Aurel's response.

"Wait a minute!". Kevin grabs Qiara's hand, which she almost passes.

"Mr Kevin, what's wrong?". Qiara asked confusedly because Kevin suddenly appeared. 

"Don't forget that tonight you have to do some photo shoots outside the city. So, after the shoot this afternoon, then you have to go with Aurel". Kevin said. 

Qiara was surprised because she just remembered that she had to leave the city. However, she felt unwilling to leave Julian and Zio for a long time. 

After that, Kevin just left without waiting for Liana's answer because he didn't want to hear any excuses. 

"You finish your business as soon as possible, after that you immediately come to see you because we don't have much time". Aurel said after she stood in front of Liana.

"Yes, I'll be on time. You take it easy, I don't have many fans yet so I'll come quickly without getting in the way". Qiara replied with a smile. 

"I rely on you". After that Aurel left Liana because she also had to get ready. 

Just then, a short message from Julian took Qiara by surprise. 

"Honey, I'm waiting for you at a restaurant not far from YM Entertainment. I want to have lunch with you, I miss you!".

After reading Julian's short message, Qiara rushed off to meet Julian because the time she had was indeed very short. 

"Why is Julian asking me to lunch suddenly like this? He should have told me this morning so that I would steal more time". Inner Qiara quickly. 

Maxwell, who had just arrived at the lobby, squinted at the sight of Qiara running hastily. 

"Isn't that Liana, she should have gone with Kevin and Aurel, but why is she running like someone who is in a hurry? Do I just follow, maybe she needs my help!".

After thinking about it, Maxwell immediately caught up with Qiara who had entered the taxi. Maxwell also accelerated his steps when heading to his car. 

Restaurant.

"Why are you asking me to lunch suddenly like this?". Asked Qiara, who was already sitting in front of Julian, catching her breath.

The black bead of Julian's eyes continued to observe every inch of Qiara's pretty face in front of him. It was as if he hadn't seen each other in a long time. 

"Don't just stare at me, but answer my questions because I don't have much time".

Suddenly Julian realized when he heard Qiara's whining. 

"Honey ... Are you okay? Why is your face covered in sweat?". Julian asked, holding Qiara's face.

Luckily Julian's restaurant was already empty because he knew that his meeting with Qiara should not be known by others. 

"Of course, do I look unwell?". Qiara replied, holding Julian's hand. 

"You're still pretty..."

"You could. Oh yeah, how are Nathan and Natalie?".

Instantly Julian was stunned because he did not know what Jasmin had planned for Nathan and Natalie, who had not heard from them for two days. 

Since the failure of Nathan's marriage, every day Julian hears his Papa and Mama argue about Nathan, even though his mother will always give in in the end.
