Chapter 465 - Dead

"Thank you dear, I'm lucky to have a husband like you". After saying that Qiara kissed Julian on the lips.

Julian feels increasingly in love with the woman who has hurt him. Even so, he never thought that five years would be enough to change his wife's attitude.

After that they enjoyed breakfast with Zio which complements their happiness.

Nathan's apartment.

Meanwhile, Nathan and Natalie are still enjoying their time together in the apartment.

Just then, Natalie's cell phone rang. Instantly Natalie immediately picked up without seeing the ID that was calling.

"Hello ... Is this with Miss Natalie?". Ask someone from across the phone.

"Yes. Who is this?". Natalie replied confusedly.

"Your mother was pronounced dead before being rushed to the hospital".

Natalie trembled at the news, tears rolling down her cheeks. 

"Why did my mother die? What happened to her?". Natalie asked again with tears in her eyes.

"Your mother was found passed out in front of the house after several people using the car left your house".

Hearing the explanation from anyone on any phone, Natalie felt a headache, immediately fell into Nathan's arms and burst into tears.

"Is my mother buried?". Natalie asked between sobs.

"She will be buried after her daughter comes home".

"Thank you! I'll be home soon!". After that Natalie hung up the call. 

"Honey, calm down!". Nathan said as he helped the limp Natalie back up.

Natalie immediately looked at Nathan and said. "Please take me home, I want to see my mother one last time!".

Nathan immediately nodded.

"Mother does not have any disease, I am sure that she was killed by someone. Because someone said earlier, there were several cars coming. After the car left, my mother immediately fainted in front of the house". Natalie said, sobbing.

Nathan fell silent hearing what Natalie said.

At that instant, he felt bad. He immediately directed his memory to his unforgiving father.

"Is it possible this is dad's plan? He used Natalie's mother to get revenge and brought me back?". Nathan thought as he clenched his fists.

Along the way, Nathan continued to mumble and make guesses. Meanwhile, Natalie just cried while hugging Nathan's arm.

Nathan did not want the gentle Natalie to get hurt because of himself, so he promised himself to protect Natalie as best he could and would not let her get hurt again.

Natalie's mother's house.

A few moments later, they both arrived at Natalie's mother's house.

"Mother...". Natalie immediately ran to hug her mother's body when she was inside the house.

"Mother, why did you leave me so quickly? Now I don't have anyone in this world. Forgive all my mistakes!". Natalie said, sobbing.

Natalie's heart ached because for one week she had not seen her mother who preferred to stay in the country.

"We have to bury her before night comes".

Hearing the notification, Nathan immediately took Natalie away from her mother's body.

After that, Nathan took Natalie out of the house so that she could calm down and let the funeral process go smoothly.

Nathan could only give warmth to the person he loved because he did not know what to say.

"Has Papa been out of prison? If he was, could this be his doing? It would be very hearty and very evil if Papa had indeed killed Natalie's mother. I have to go home to investigate". Nathan thought as he clenched his fists.

"Honey, are you okay if I stay a while?". Asked Nathan.

"Where are you going?". Natalie asked back in a weak voice.

"I'll be home for a moment, I promise I'll be back soon!".

"Alright! I hope you come back soon because I need you!". Said Natalie, who really wanted Nathan to go through a tough day in her life.

"Of course, I promise!". After that, Nathan kissed Natalie's forehead. He did not forget to entrust Natalie to the neighbors who were around Natalie's mother's house.

Not long after, Nathan left Natalie feeling heavy.

All the way to his father's house, Nathan was uneasy because he knew how terrible and desperate his father was.

Meanwhile Natalie's father's funeral was held before sundown.

Unfortunately, Qiara was out of town so she couldn't accompany her during her difficult times.

After the funeral was over, Natalie stood at the gate to her mother's house to wait for Nathan. However, her feelings were so uneasy that she felt restless.

"It's late at night, is it possible that Nathan will not come home? Or did something happen to him?". Natalie's mind kept pacing back and forth.

Very worried, Natalie was determined to come to Mr. Joseph's house to find Nathan, besides that she did not want to hide anymore and had to fight for her love. She did not want to see Nathan struggle alone anymore.

Not long after, Natalie arrived at the gate of Nathan's father's house after a long journey. 

"Good night sir!".

"Is there I can help you Miss?". Ask the security guard over the bars because he can't let anyone in until her identity and purpose have been confirmed.

"I want to meet Mr. Nathan, is he home?".

"Who are you?". Asked the security guard with a sharp gaze.

"I am a good friend of Mr. Nathan! Tell me that Natalie is waiting for him here". Natalie replied.

"Then I will tell him first! You wait here!". The security guard said politely to Natalie. Because he believed Natalie was telling the truth.

After that, the security guard immediately went into the house because no one answered the phone, while Natalie waited patiently outside the gate.

A moment later.

"How sir?". Natalie asked impatiently as she saw the security guard returning to the gate.

"Mr. Nathan could not meet you. But, he left this paper for you!". Answer the security guard, handing out a letter to Natalie.

Natalie's hands were shaking as she took the letter, not long after that, Natalie immediately opened and read the letter.

"When this letter reaches you, that's when we are no longer lovers because I don't love you anymore. So, don't look for me and move on with your life. Besides, I will soon marry the woman that my father has prepared.. Sorry for always confusing you, Wish you happiness!".
