Chapter 491 - Not Fun

After thinking about it, Qiara wiped her tears. 

"Ahhh ... Sorry!". Qiara accidentally bumped into a man who was about to enter the room where she saw Nathan.

"It's okay ... Aren't you ...". The man pointed at Qiara with a smile because he knew Qiara's face because he liked the drama Qiara played.

"Sorry, I have to go!". After saying that, Qiara hurried away because she didn't want more people to know her. 

The man rushed in, after which he sat in front of him with joy, Nathan. He then said excitedly. "Guess what, I met with who at the door of this room?".

Nathan glanced at him then asked in a cold voice. "Is a beautiful girl again?".

"She is indeed a beautiful woman, but is an unexpected beautiful woman! I really like the drama, she is a newcomer who is currently a hit".

His other friend laughed quite loudly, he then said. "How beautiful is she that a playboy like you is very excited?".

"Liana, the second female actor in the drama 'king of the sky' ...!". The man replied with joy. "At first I thought my eyes were wrong because it was very brief, but when she apologized and looked at me, immediately I remembered her face and more wow song, she was right in the VIP room next to us". Connect the man.

"I also have exciting news for our future bride who is getting married tomorrow". Said a woman who had just entered the room. 

Nathan also glanced at his female friend with a complicated expression. 

"What is that?". Asked all of them curiously.

"He is Mr. Nathan's family, they were on the right side of our room. I heard they are discussing director Viona's marriage to Mr. Ju". Obviously the woman, smiling slyly.

Nathan fixed his seat, then he glared at the woman as if he was not afraid of anything.

"Are you sure that they discussed marriage?". Asked Nathan.

"Of course, I heard myself. But, now they are gone".

Nathan smiled slightly at the news.

Everyone present knew the relationship between Nathan and Julian and their bad father.

They all looked at Nathan, whose way of thinking was unpredictable.

"Are you really going to marry Clara?".

Nathan acted as if he did not hear the question, his eyes did not change one bit, still sitting there relaxed, his long slender fingers holding the glass, shaking it lightly.

When they saw his attitude, everyone immediately knew the answer because they felt they knew Nathan too well, which most people, including his family, did not know.

"I don't think Mr Ju's marriage will be as good as Mr Nathan's wedding! Even though they are both leaders of two well-known companies in this city".

"However, the unification of Mr. Ju and Miss Viona will bring many benefits to both companies. So, the Flory palace will be completely under Miss Viona's rule if she joins Mr. Ju's shares. Likewise, JJ Group will become the number one company that is strongly supported by the power of the Flory Palace, don't you think? ".

"That means, women like Miss Viona can only be owned as long as we have money and high status. Maybe she doesn't care about looks, but fortunately Mr. Ju is a very handsome man, he also makes a big fortune".

The chatter from all of his friends made his head want to break, because he really didn't like their discussion.

"Can you guys stop discussing it? I'm sick of hearing it!". Nathan shouted as he threw the glass he was holding against the wall.

Instantly they all fell silent in fear.

"Mr. Nathan, don't you think you are overreacting?". Asked one of his friends after being silent for a long time.

Hearing what his friend said, Nathan suddenly took another glass from the table. His actions were enough to make everyone even more afraid.

The expression on Nathan's face was still flat, it did not appear to be in any mood.

"I go first!". After saying that, Nathan stood up and walked quickly out of the VIP room.

They all saw Nathan who had left, then they turned around and glared at the man who made Nathan's mood even worse.

"This is all because of you". They all cornered their friends and then dispersed because without Nathan the atmosphere would be very unpleasant.

The girls immediately left because they had to find a beautiful dress to come to Nathan's wedding.

Meanwhile, Nathan walked out of the restaurant door. Someone had driven the car to the side of the road to wait for him. However, Nathan leaned on the side of the car while taking his cellphone out of his pocket.

Nathan's eyes were dark as black ink when he made a call to Viona's number.

"Hello?". Viona's voice on the other side of the telephone sounded soft after the call was connected.

"Your wish has been fulfilled, I heard that you and Julian will get married after me. Is that true?". Asked Nathan with a dark expression.

"That's right, and this is all because of you. Thank you for helping me a lot. I will make sure your marriage and Clara goes smoothly without any obstacles. Do you like that?". Viona said while looking at the congested road. 

"I don't need that, I just want you to keep your promise. And I'll make sure Qiara doesn't interfere with your relationship with Julian anymore".

"Of course, you can trust me. Then, see you tomorrow". After saying that, Viona closed the call with a smile.

Meanwhile, Nathan immediately got into the car because he had to get home sooner before his father found out that he was quietly leaving.

Meanwhile, Qiara asked permission to go home first.

Aurel and Kevin also allowed her to go home first because Qiara kept pleading with the excuse that she was not feeling well.

"What's with her?". Kevin asked after Qiara left the room. 

Aurel shrugged her shoulders because she didn't know either.

"Are you sure that you are the manager so you do not know everything that happened to your foster children?". Asked Kevin with a terrible look.

Aurel was surprised, after that she took another deep breath and then challenged Kevin's gaze while saying. "She was in my care, but I never forced her to tell all her personal affairs including her feelings. However, I have warned her not to get involved with any man, because she is a newcomer".

Kevin was silent to hear Aurel's explanation, even though he was involved in a partnership with Julian, but he did not know that Qiara was Julian's wife or had a relationship with Julian.

"Okay, you have to make sure Qiara's heart is fine until filming is over, because the Noble event will be held soon. One more thing, I've chosen a singer to replace Natalie who has left. So, you don't have to worry because she will meet you tomorrow, other than that her ability is not in doubt ". Kevin said, wiping his mouth with a tissue.

"Where is Natalie now? Why did she suddenly disappear without saying goodbye? Isn't that rude?". Aurel asked, who couldn't help but feel curious.

"You don't need to know where she is, because you can only focus on your assignment and not any other problem. I have taken care of Natalie's problem, so there won't be any problems that can happen in the future. Okay, I'm going to Maxwell's house now!". Kevin replied while standing up. 

Aurel nodded without asking too many questions because she was lazy to argue with Kevin.

After that they both left the restaurant at a fast pace because it was late.

Halfway through the trip, Kevin made a call to Maxwell. But he didn't pick up. Kevin felt uneasy because Maxwell did not usually pick up the phone.

Therefore, Kevin immediately made a call to Rafael's number. 

"Hello Mr Kevin?". Rafael's weak voice was heard from across the phone after the call had been connected.

"Where is your boss?". Asked Kevin without preamble.

"The boss is in his house, he can not receive guests or talk!". Rafael replied.

"What's wrong with him? Quickly tell me!". Kevin's tone grew higher because he could sense that something was wrong with his best friend.

"I can not explain in more detail, but for sure he is back to dealing with Doctor Felix".

Kevin paused with a dark expression upon hearing Doctor Felix's name, because if Maxwell came back to deal with him, it was a sign that Maxwell was not well.

Without saying anything, Kevin immediately hung up the call. He then accelerated the speed of his car towards Maxwell's house.

"You idiot, why can't you protect yourself from things that can make you hurt, I have repeatedly reminded you to stay away from that grave". Kevin thought while hitting the handlebars of his car repeatedly because he was too upset.

Meanwhile, it was getting late. However, Julian had not come home yet, so Qiara chose to wait for him in the living room. She could not sleep peacefully before getting an explanation from Julian about what she had heard in the restaurant earlier.

Luckily again, Zio and Jasmin were already asleep so they wouldn't know that she was waiting for Julian with annoyance.
