Chapter 22 Appearing

Zachary chuckled softly and asked, “You heartless girl, do you think I’ll let my spoils of war escape?”

Zachary’s voice was sexy and bewitching, causing Bailey to choke and she coughed for a while.

After calming down, all Bailey wanted to say was that this voice was too f*cking sexy and soul-stirring.

“What are you in a hurry for? Don’t worry. As long as Xavier and Julia enter the only remaining room in the hotel, they will definitely be drunk and in heat and won’t be able to come out.” Zachary glanced at Xavier and Julia, who had already entered the room for a while, and said confidently.

“Let’s go. The show is about to start,” Zachary said as he looked at Bailey in the surveillance camera.

As Bailey picked up her bag, she couldn’t stop savoring the food and said, “To be honest, this private restaurant’s dishes are not bad. They’re all my favorites and taste good. You can try them next time.”

Zachary smiled lightly. In a place where Bailey could not see, the indulgence in his usually indifferent eyes was about to overflow. “Okay, after I have tasted you, I’ll treat you to another meal.”

Bailey had just walked to the door and she almost lost her footing. He was a little lunatic with a flirtatious mouth.

Bailey and Zachary met up on the 12th floor of the hotel next door. Zachary pressed Bailey’s little head down and said, “There’s a surveillance camera. Don’t stick your neck out everywhere.”

Bailey shook her head angrily and shook off the big palm on her head. She puffed up her cheeks and whispered, “Don’t touch my head. I’ll become stupid.”

Zachary sneered and mocked, “I didn’t touch your head in the past, but I don’t think you’re very smart. You’ve been deceived by a scumbag for so long.”

Bailey glared at Zachary, who was obviously laughing at her as if she was a joke. Why did this person bring up her sore spot? It was too infuriating.

Just as Bailey was about to argue back, many people came to the corridor opposite. They were laughing and joking.

Bailey took a closer look. Good lord, they were all people whom they were very familiar with in the industry. They were all young second-generation heirs of the upper circles of City R, and there were especially many of those unmarried girls.

Zachary explained kindly, “Didn’t Xavier want to rely on women to climb up the social ladder? I cut off this path for him. What do you think?” Hitting a snake at its weak spot. Zachary was indeed precise with his attacks.

At this moment, Zachary whispered into Bailey’s ear, “It’s your turn to make your appearance.”

Then, before Bailey knew what she was going to do, Zachary bit Bailey’s pink earlobe with a mischievous smile and pushed her, exposing her to everyone.

Bailey quickly tidied up her clothes. In her heart, she scolded Zachary, this unpredictable little lunatic, for pushing her out to speak. Shouldn’t he tell her how to act next? It was too infuriating!

Seeing Bailey staggering out, those people were a little surprised. The usually cold and arrogant Bailey actually appeared in front of them in such a funny manner.

When her best friend, Layla, saw Bailey, she ran over happily and held her hand. “Did you attend the ball today? Why didn’t I see you just now?”

Bailey was surprised. What ball? It must be some reason that Zachary used to gather these people, right?

Sunny, who had organized this gathering, was instantly a little embarrassed. The funds for this ball were fully funded by Zachary. As Zachary’s sworn enemy, Bailey was naturally not included in the invitation.

A faint smile appeared on Bailey’s face as she explained, “No, I’m here to look for my cousin. She was drunk just now. Xavier said that he wanted to send her to the hotel, but it’s been 20 minutes. They haven’t come out yet, so I came to look for them.”

Bailey’s words confused everyone. Didn’t Bailey already break up with Xavier? Why were they still drinking together? Bailey’s cousin was drunk, but why was Xavier the one who sent her to the hotel room? Why did it take so long to send her here?

Some people had already begun to smell that something was wrong and interesting. This was the accurate sixth sense of the people who liked to join in the fun.

Layla also realized that something was wrong.

Just as she was about to say something, a few middle-aged men suddenly appeared at the elevator. They were dressed formally and looked like they had just finished a big meeting.

Bailey narrowed his eyes. Good lord, this was the leader of Xavier’s school.
