Chapter 654 - Extra 1

"Mommy, Lin Feng Xiao pulled my hair!" A cute girl dragged her school bag and complained to her mother. 

"Papa, I don't want to go to school today. I'm scared of being bullied." another girl cried to her father.

"Who will bully you?" The father rubbed his daughter's head and asked gently. 

"That blondie from my school!" 

"My doll... I can't believe he ripped it." Yet another wail filled the house elsewhere. 

"Daddy! Boohoo... Lin Feng Xiao poured glue all over my head. I can't brush my hair anymore." 

"Teacher, Lin Feng Xiao poured paint all over my book!" 

"Teacher! Lin Feng Xiao poured chalk dust in my bento. My mommy spent a lot of time preparing it!"

"Lin Fengxiao!" Yun Xuan massaged her temples as she glared at the boy before her. 

The complaints she had received from her son's school were innumerable. Just how much trouble did he plan on causing? 

The girls in his class were the most affected. They either had paint on their school uniforms, insects in their hair, sand or small rocks in their socks and generally, all of them would leave school with tears in their eyes. It was all thanks to the little prankster Lin Feng Xiao. 

At this rate, it wouldn't be long before the school decided to expel him.  

"Mommy, it's not my fault. The girls in my class are just too much of cry babies. I can't help but want to tease them." 

"I already told you. Playing pranks on your classmates is wrong."

Who was he trying to fool? The boys were not safe either. In fact, they had resorted to trying to make him their friend so he wouldn't pull pranks on them. 

Nevermind that he had made every little kid in his school cry. This little punk had even gone so far as to pull Lu Xian Li's hair the last time they went to the Lin residence. 

Just the thought of it made Yun Xuan shiver. Didn't he know that that was Lu Aotian's beloved daughter? That man treasured his daughters more than his life. It was surprising that he had not immediately punished the little devil. 

After that incident, the little devil had promised to behave himself following an earful of scolding from Lin Ye. Yet he was at it again...

Yun Xuan couldn't believe that this was the same little boy who was so dull as a baby that she almost thought he had signs of mild autism.

"You will not escape punishment this time." She said decisively. 

The boy broke into one of those cute, irresistible smiles, his charming blue eyes blinking so beautifully that even the hardest of hearts would melt. "Mommy, the girls in my class say I'm very handsome. Is it true? It must be true considering how beautiful my mommy is. 

Actually, my mommy is the most beautiful mommy in school. My classmates are all so jealous of me." 

Yun Xuan's gaze remained stern, making the little boy nervous. 

Seeing that his pacifying tricks didn't seem to work any longer, he scratched his head.

"Get back here, little boy!" she said to the little devil who was trying to sneak his way out of the living room.

Lin Ye walked in at that moment. "I see the two of you are getting along, as usual." 

"I'll surely die from the headaches he gives me." 

Lin Ye sat next to her. "How can you say that? Fengxiao is a little angel, just like his daddy. Actually, he takes after his mom." 

Yun Xuan: "Hey!" 

"Aren't you stubborn too? It's hard to talk you out of anything."

"Fine. You do seem to have a point..." 

Lin Ye kissed the forehead of the woman beside him and pulled her into his arms. "Do you know what I've learnt from this lifetime?" 

Yun Xuan nestled in his embrace comfortably. "I don't." 

"If two people were meant to be, it doesn't matter how long they have to wait for each other. If it's true love, they will end up together even if they only do so in their old age. And when they finally get together, they will find that all the wait and struggle was worth it." He looked into her eyes that were gazing back at him. "Xuanxuan, you were worth waiting for." 

Yun Xuan's hand reached to hug his neck as he looked into the depth of his eyes. "In this lifetime, I learnt that all that nonsense about a person only being able to fall in love once is fake. If that were the case, my heart would be stuck with a jerk. But since I met you, you're the only one I will love for the rest of my life." 

"Did you just say what I think you said?" Lin Ye couldn't believe his ears. Yun Xuan had never directly said anything about having feelings for him.  She had agreed to be his girlfriend, agreed to marry him but up till now, she had never said anything similar to what she had just said.

"Yes. I love you Lin Ye." 

Lin Ye's heart fluttered, and he had to use all his restraint to prevent himself from jumping to the rooftop and breaking into a dance. "I love you too Yun Xuan, I love you more each day." 

Yun Xuan pulled his neck and kissed his lips. 

Lin Fengxiao: "Did they forget about me?" 

No need to ask. He was totally forgotten.

Lin Ye only remembered his existence later and called him to the study. 

"Do you know what kind of boy is not handsome? The type of boy who keeps bullying girls. They are so fragile and weak. What do you even gain from making them cry?" 

Lin Fengxiao held his chin between his thumb and index figure, deep in thought before he finally said, "Dad, you are right. There's no thrill in bullying weaklings at all. I should only bully boys." 

Lin Ye was speechless at this twisted logic. He coughed. "Except, bullying boys is not all that good either. No one will ever respect you and most importantly, no one will ever love you. You will not have friends." 

"But I have very many friends!" 

"You think those are your friends? They only stay close to you to keep you from pranking them but they secretly hate you. None of them likes you." 

The little boy blinked his eyes. "Is love important?" 

"Very important." Seeing that he didn't convince the boy yet, he continued, "Real men don't use dirty tricks. Do you want to remain an immature boy forever?" 

"No way! I want to be a man, just like you, daddy!" 

Lin Ye was speechless. This imp finally understood
