Chapter 82 - 82: Chase After You

The beautiful scenery has finally appeared. The yellowish color of the sky reflected in the deep, blue sea brought mysterious effects to the human eyes.

The birds had soared high as the cold, howling wind tested their strengths. The palm trees around the beach resort flickered and danced through the shooting rhythm created by the wind.

At the serene seashore, there was a young girl who walked alone and looked for the perfect spot. She had been waiting for it since the moment she stepped into the place.

After a long time, she had finally got a chance to witness and be amazed once again. She was wearing a magical, charming white dress, embroidered with different beads and other decorations.

Butterflies were also embroidered on it as it made it more alluring and refreshing to oneself eyes.

But she had closed her eyes for a long time, dreaming about the young man who stood beside her and watched over the subset with her.

She shook her head, put her hands on her chest when the young man gave her a flower. Her heart filled with joy as she never thought about it.

However, as she was about to accept it and let go of his hands. Someone arrived at the place and distracted her sweet, vivid dream.

"I can't believe that endings like sunset can be this fascinating too, right, Halora?"

His deep, husky voice had brought her back to reality. Halora suddenly turned around, widened her eyes when she realized that it was all a dream.

Her face was filled with uncertainties and embarrassment. How could it be that she had a dream with a man who abruptly asked him a question?

Halora looked intently into the eyes, but she felt nervous at the same time. "P– pardon?"

"You looked surprised, but if you don't want me around, then I must leave now." He replied coldly.

Sebastian changed his clothes as they suited to the place. He looked like a decent young man yet, a strong, badass energy stayed still within.

"No, that's not what I meant to say!" Halora defended herself but she sounded like a girl who got caught staring at the man she adored the most.

She gulped, glanced up as he has been longing for it for a long time. A profound smile appeared on her lips that took away the fear she felt.

The cold breeze blew up her hair that flaunted her soft, thin cheeks and chin. "I haven't seen it like this before!" She murmured.

But little did she knew, Sebastian scooped his phone from his pocket and took her photographs secretly. He gulped, breathed deeply when he succeeds with his plans.

"Me too. It's been quite a while since the last time I saw the sunset at the beach." He hid it back and gave her a bright smile. "By the way, why are you alone? Are you done taking photographs with him?"

Halora tilted her head and she said, "Yes, we got only two pictures and told him that I want to walk by myself." The water almost reached her feet but she quickly stepped back and stood firm. "Hmm, how about you, what brought you in here?"

For the first time, an ordinary girl made a popular campus bad boy speechless and confused. He opened his mouth loudly enough to utter a word but he had failed and was frightened of being stuttered in front of her.

Sebastian gritted his teeth that flaunted his jaw-dropping jawline. His blue eyes glinted when he met her radiant gaze.

"I... I just wanted to be alone too! A– and my f– feet brought me here."

"Hmm," She hummed, looked around, and made sure that no one could hear their conversation. "A– about the d– dress, I am sorry for claiming that my mother gave this to me. I just want Sandra to calm down and stop doubting me every time we're together."

"She shouldn't have to be threatened by me in the first place. I am a nobody compared to her and that bothered me the most."

Her eyes filled with questions behind Sandra's outrage towers over her. Halora never forget the first moment their paths crossed when they were young.

At the first sight, she felt threatened and uncomfortable by her energy. She was strongly embraced by a powerful yet vicious soul.

Sebastian cleared his throat and messed her hair again. He replied, "You should be the one to know the answer before others, Halora. You can only complete a riddle by yourself alone."

"W– what do you mean? I... don't understand what you are talking about."

"At the right time, you will know what I meant to say. But for now, would you mind walking with me?"

But Halora remembered Sandra. She had made a promise and she must keep her words to her. "I am sorry but I have to keep my words."

"Sandra fell asleep, so there's no need for you to be worried like this."

"A– are you telling me the truth? If that's the case, then, let's go before she wakes up."

Secretly, Sebastian smiled when she suddenly grabbed his arms. They walked slowly at the seashore but they never knew what destination they truly deserved.

As the sunset slowly fading, Sebastian stopped at the moment, picked up a shell, and stepped few steps back.

He looked at her, told her to wait and watch until he threw the shell into the water. It had leaped four times as he successfully achieved the goal.

"Wow! I usually do the same thing but unfortunately, it would be swallowed by the water easily."

She stomped her feet, bent low, and picked a shell. Halora played with it while Sebastian cleaned her hands and took the sands from his palm.

He laughed at her until he suddenly got hit by a small shell. His eyebrows furrowed, picked another shell, and stared at her angrily.

"Run!"

"Run!"

His voice echoed around that urged Halora to ran and avoided the shell that flew out into the air.

She made a funny face that provoked the young man to be more aggressive and militant.

"I will gonna chase after you no matter what! I will catch you, Halora!" He exclaimed but she waved her hands from a distance while her white dress drifted gracefully by the cold breeze.
