Chapter 113 - 113: A Beautiful Heart And Soul

The peaceful mansion was filled with an awkward sensation between two different parties. Roy who was seating at the couch in the living area looked at his vicious cousin, smiling widely like an idiot.

He then threw a popcorn, called her by her name but she crossed her legs and watched something on her phone.

"Hey!"

"Hey!"

He continued yet Sandra ignored him. "Fine! If you want to stay in this boring house then be it! I'll go upstairs and ask Halora somewhere!"

To his distress, he put aside the bowl of popcorn and went onto upstairs, hoping that Halora will be convinced.

"Huh, " he breathed heavily. "Why do my heart acted this way?"

It was beating too fast like he was being chased by hundreds of wild animals in the forest. Until he reached his room and the wide smile on his face instantly vanished when he saw Sebastian in front of her room.

He stood firm, clearing his throat and fixed his hair as if he was too nervous asking his girlfriend of a romantic date.

He sighed, looked at him from a distance. "He just came first than me." he said.

By then, Sebastian knocked on the door, waiting for Halora to open it for him. He then smiled bitterly, slowly turning around and was about to leave when he heard Halora'd sweet voice.

"W– what brought you here? I... I am sorry, I didn't know you're coming so I didn't bother to clean up the mess." Halora said and didn't let Sebastian entered inside.

Roy stayed at the moment, eavesdropping to their conversation as he heard that they will be going to the sea of flowers he wanted to go too.

Hopelessly, he sighed, as he walked away from them and let Sebastian seized the moment.

As he walked back downstairs, he saw Sandra ate all the popcorn he set aside earlier. Because of the jealousy he felt, he threw himself to the couch and stared at the warm sky.

In front of him, Sandra noticed that something happened to Roy. She knew him since then, and so, she said, "What happened? Did she reject your offer?"

"Of course, she didn't!"

"Then why are you frowning that way? You look like a homeless man who lost everything in a snap."

Sandra teased her but Roy stood up and walked into the kitchen as he took a lot of chocolate to ease the disappointment he had felt.

He then went back to the living area, seated into the couch while he ate a lot of it as Sandra opened her palm and tried to get some.

But, she failed to sneak when Roy stood, grabbed the black jacket nearby and he said, "Don't look for me, I'll just be loitering around, searching for a peaceful place to relax."

Sandra rolled her eyes, crossed her arms and she replied, "Fine! Do whatever you want and eat all of that chocolate until you choke yourself!"

"If you want to eat, go to the kitchen and feed your empty mind. Don't be a lazy bitch, my beloved cousin." he said.

Sandra gritted her teeth and was about to throw the cellular phone on her hands. But, she remembered that the entire living area was surrounded by expensive figurines and glass.

"Ugh! Such a hopeless jerk!" she thought.

But, she smiled wickedly when she remembered the sweet chocolate on the fridge. She quickly stood, went into the kitchen while Sebastian and Halora went downstairs.

Sandra had no idea that they went together out of the mansion. She was peeling off a bunch of dark chocolate as she walked back to the living area.

Until she saw Halora walked beside Sebastian. Her eyes furrowed and turned darker and creepier. She stomped her feet, took a bite to the chocolate as she ran back to the kitchen and put it back to the fridge.

"I really hate seeing you together!" she whispered to the warm breeze as she quickly went out from the house and followed them behind secretly.

She was wearing a thin, pale lilac long dress and a leather shoes that protected her feet from the dirt and other small insects. Her hair was tired into a perfect ponytail and wore a light, perfect make–up.

Along the way, she noticed that the way they took was the same way as to the sea of flowers and bed of roses. She was the one who requested it to her father as she loved flowers so much but, because of what happened to their parents, everything had changed especially herself.

For a couple of minutes, Sandra quickly stopped and hid at the tree afar from the entrance. She watched at them secretly, gritted her teeth out of envy while Halora spun around like a royal princess.

"What she's trying to do? Tss, acting like a noble woman but deep inside, she's a slut that wants everyone's attention!" she murmured, closed her fists as she wanted to pull Halora's hair until she turned bald.

However, her eyes widened, her body has turned numbed when Sebastian bent his knees and offered his hand on her like a Prince who waited for the Princess's decision.

"Don't accept it! Don't accept it, you little whore!"

But, Halora accepted his offer as they held each other hands and entered into the main entrance.

She was about to ruin their sweet moment but little did she knew, Roy saw her as he quickly followed her steps until he found Sandra hiding behind the tree.

"Let them for now, Sandra! Whether we like it or not, we can't stop them! We can't tell them what they must do and who will they choose to love!"

"Ugh! I hate that girl so much but why are you still protecting her? What did you think she have that I don't possess?! Tell me! Tell it to me straightforward before I lose my control!"

Roy gulped and felt guilty for doing nothing for his cousin. He knew he made a promise to Sandra yet he failed to keep it when she started bullying his long lost best friend.

He has no choice, another option but to follow what his heart want to do and keeping Halora safe was his priority than Sandra.

"A beautiful heart and soul. She possessed something that can't be seen and unfortunately, you had nothing any of those." he said. Turned around on her as tears fell down to his cheeks after a long, long time.
