It's been an hour since he sent her back to her room. After they went to the sea of flowers, Halora quickly packed her things and tried to forget everything.
She couldn't even think that a popular, alluring campus bad boy took her to one of the girl's fantasies. One of the things she put into her bucket list has successfully completed.
"Ugh! I can feel that I'm still on cloud nine." she murmured, looked at the wall as she finished with all her things. "A– and we even have an awkward selfies! Ugh! My heart!"
She acted like a little kid but she quickly cleared her throat, looked her reflection on the mirror for a couple of minutes.
"No! You should stop it before it grows bigger within you! Stop it, Halora! Stop being ambitious because in the end, he won't hesitate to reject you!"
Out of the blue, Halora became an exaggerated person who concluded things she didn't know yet. To avoid being hurt by others, she would ignore them first before they ignore her.
She never been broken, shattered into pieces because of the man she truly loved, the man whom she gave her everything. She had no one beside her since her parents died and she never felt what truly love is.
But, all of her what ifs suddenly vanished when she heard loud, disturbing knock. Without a doubt, Halora quickly opened the door and she saw Sebastian breathing heavily as if he saw a ghost earlier.
"Hurry up! We have to leave now before they find us!"
His voice was shattered as his lips turned pale and afraid that someone might attack the mansion any moment from now.
As she knew nothing about it, Halora turned around and looked at her things. Everything was ready and she had changed her clothes earlier.
"I don't know what's happening right now, but you look afraid and nervous. C– can you tell me what's going on?"
A long, heavy sigh of distress filled around the room. Sebastian cursed as he didn't know how to explain it to her through simple words.
He sighed and he said, "N– no! Y–yes! I mean... there's nothing going on but according to my friends, we have to leave as soon as possible before the night comes."
"But why?! It almost quarter to five!"
"No buts, Halora! I already told Sandra and Roy! If you're still doubting me, go downstairs, ask them and I will bring your things."
Because of his strange actions, Halora suddenly felt a strong feeling of fear. She sensed that a terrible, big incident will take place at night.
But she stayed quiet, quickly grabbed the black backpack from the bed while Sebastian carried the small luggage.
As they were closer to the living area, loud voices echoed around that confirmed Sebastian's words. Sandra was seating on the couch next to Roy when she noticed Halora and Sebastian walked closer to her way.
She gasped, crossed her arms and remained silent for a couple of minutes.
"Alright, since everyone is ready to leave, we need to get into the car before darkness plagued the sky. Do you get me?"
"Y– yes! But can you tell us what's happening right now? You're giving us a heart attack, for heaven's sake!" Roy raised his voice on him.
He wanted to help but it seemed like the only person who knew the truth was only Sebastian.
"I know it sounds strange, but we have to be quick and fast!"
"Who's going with you?" Sandra asked Sebastian.
"You, and Halora will be take good care of Roy! But, don't you ever try to disobey my words or I will feed you to the wild animals around."
Sandra pouted her lips when she heard those things from him. She knew he badly hated her yet, she could still feel a little bit of pain within her chest.
As they lost a lot of time, Sebastian brought his things while held Sandra's hands tightly as they went out first from the house. Behind them, Halora carried her small luggage while Roy looked around and ensured eveyone's safety.
However, as they hurriedly walked into the garage, a strong, howling wind blew up which drifted the leaves around. It startled Sandra as she quickly tightened her grip on his arm, closed her eyes while Halora remained firm and calm.
"Hold my hand, Halora! Give it to me so that you can walk with ease."
"A– are you sure? You will get tired if you will instist."
Halora looked at his face and she saw a small hint of fear. She knew he had an idea of what was happening around but he kept it, hid it from the girls to avoid any conflict.
By then, Roy shook his head in agreement and saw that Sebastian and Sandra walked too fast than them. He quickly took Halora's luggage, held her hands tightly enough to keep her safe until they both ran and saved their lives from danger.
And after a long run, Sebastian searched for the spare key that was buried at the ground, just few steps away from the black car.
"Damn it!" he cursed, almost surrendered until he saw a small, gold key that was covered with soil.
He quickly stood, ran into the car and unlocked the trunk as he put all of his and Sandra's things inside. Fortunately, Roy and Halora arrived at the garage as they quickly put their things up.
While Sebastian tried to start the engine, Roy looked around the area and realized that the guards who protected the mansion vanished with a snap of fingers.
He narrowed his eyes, watched at the birds that fly around from the tall tree. The ground began to move, the wind became stronger that brought fear to all of them.
"Come on! Come on!" Sebastian exlaimed.
After a long, tiring trials, the engine started and he told the girls to seat at the passenger's seat while Roy seated beside him.
He gasped, looked through the mirror and before he drove too fast away from the mansion, he said, "Fasten your seat belt, ladies. I don't have any option but to escape and keep everyone safe."
At that moment, Sebastian felt and smelled vicious werewolves that planned something against him. He knew they were nasty enemies and before they succeed with their plans, he made an immediate action and abandoned the place alone.
