Chapter 125 - 125: Her Name

A lot of delicate foods were served on the table when Sebastian arrived at the mansion. The moment he stepped into the living area, he smelled the fragrant aroma of the grilled pork but he walked into the dining area coldly.

His behavior changed every time he stepped into the fancy, grandiose house that would always be judged by his father.

As soon as he reached the area, he saw his mother who had been waiting for him. Sarah stood quickly and gave him a tight embrace.

"It's been a while since I hug you like this, Sebastian. I can't believe that my baby boy is now a grown-up man!"

"Come on, Mom. Don't kiss me that way in front of the maids. And one more thing, I am not your baby boy anymore!"

Sarah Woo pouted her lips and his mood quickly changed. She seated on a chair silently, called one of the maids to summon her husband who was still working in their room.

Sebastian narrowed his eyes, looked throughout the dining area, and realized that his father was not around with them.

He said, "By the way, where is dad? Is he going to join us or not again?"

"He's coming downstairs and I told him to stop working for ten minutes but you know your dad, son. He works too much for your future," she said that left him shocked to death.

Sebastian never understood why his parents needed to work the entire day for money and power. They had everything they needed and if someone would ask him, he would rather choose to live a simple life, away from the people and the disastrous large city.

Sebastian hissed, touched the fork at the right side when he saw his father walked in their way.

He said, "I'm sorry for keeping your wait, I just finished something, and finally, I closed a big deal a few seconds earlier!"

Stevenson's face was covered with happiness when one of the richest businessmen invested in the company of almost two million dollars.

He smiled, kissed his wife's cheeks in from of their son. "I know you can close every deal, honey! But before we start, lets us pray first."

Sebastian grossed out when he saw his mother wiped her cheeks by bare hands. It was an awkward situation for him yet, he shrugged his shoulders, put the fork down beside the glass of water as he closed his eyes and clasped both of his hands to pray.

He just prayed for peace like nothing else to think about other things, thanked for everything he possessed and may the greatness guide him to meet the destined mate he has been waiting for.

"Alright, let's eat and enjoy all the foods that I've prepared!" said Sarah Woo with excitement in her voice.

She was wearing a beautiful off shoulder white dress, embroidered with minimal designs that suited to the color of her skin. Her long, straight hair was tied into a perfect ponytail as she looked like a living doll.

Sarah reached for thr bowl of mashed potatoes and put two scoops to Sebastian's plate. She was smiling while serving her only son– the ultimate alpha that still living on Earth.

"I know you missed this," she said, reaching the bowl of pasta and put some of it to Stevenson's plate. "Here you go, honey. I know you've been working for this family and we are all proud of you."

"I know. I know, hon. That's why I am motivated to work hard, living like an ordinary people in this cruel world." He shook his head in happiness and looked intently into his wife's blue eyes.

Sebastian inherited his mother's eyes as it glowed in the dark. They looked like a carbon copy, an identical twins to be certain.

He said, "Come on guys, can you stop being so cheesy in front of a seventeen year old boy in front of you?"

"Correction, you are turning eighteen this last day of the month." said his father who didn't look at him.

"Whatever." he replied coldly.

A long, deafening silence filled around the dining area as they enjoyed the banquet. Sebastian gulped, waiting for Roy that made him uncomfortable and anxious.

It was quarter to eight in the evening, but the entire house was surrounded with bright, rare torches. It was a beautiful source of light that kept it bright and radiant.

"How's the trip? Because I've heard rumors that you and Halora get along with each other than Sandra Lee."

She was slicing the pork she cooked in the oven, garnished it with tomato sauce with a little bit of chili powder, pepper and basil.

"You said it right, mom. It's only a rumor and if you're going to ask about Sandra, well, I don't like girl. She's a spoiled brat, hard headed, immature lass."

Stevenson cleared his throat and paused for a couple of minutes. He looked at his wife who stared at him as they understood each other through gestures and signals.

He gasped, "Don't forget about the agreement, Sebastian. If you can't find the girl with the mark before the school year end, we will make the decision and choose the girl for you."

Sebastian slightly tilted his head as he agreed to his father's statement. He was right, he needed to find the girl with the mark of a beast at the left side of her back.

"I... I know father and I will do everything to find her. Just give me enough time as I can't either live with a woman that I don't even like at all."

"And to be honest, I like that young girl's presence. The first time I saw her for the first time, I knew there's something especial about." Stevenson said as he gnawed the meat gracefully. "What was her name again?"

Sarah and Sebastian widened their eyes as they heard it from him. They couldn't believe that even Stevenson felt the strong energy that lived within Halora's body.

She sighed, stretched her arms and get the glass of cold water that flowed into her esophagus down to her stomach that calmed down herself.

"Halora, her name is Halora, if I'm not mistaken." she said that left her son stunned and astonished.
