Chapter 159 - 159: I Will Always Love You

Two great teams fought for the title as they moved too fast, blocked the opponent's perfect spot to make another score. They were not be warriors who used armors, swords, iron shields and whips but they have the same goal.

In the first quarter of the game, team of Roy led five points against Sebastian's team but all of his teammates remained calm and having fun.

Zenith, who became an instant cheerleader screamed, yelled, danced, turned around beside Halora that brought positivity to him.

He didn't know but he remembered someone who have the same voice as her. Unfortunately, he couldn't think of it so clearly.

"Three minutes break!" announced one of their coaches who watched the game very closely.

Without a signal, Zenith quickly went down from the rows of seat, took a white towel from her bag and she wiped Roy's sweat with good, perfect posture.

"Here, drink some of this." she gave him a bottle of energy drink that surprised him for a moment. "Come on! Time is running, Captain!" she added that pressured him a little but more.

From Halora's seat, she noticed how Zenith acted. She wanted to do the same thing but she was frightened of the eyes of the students who suddenly arrived at the gymnasium.

She sighed, tightened the grip on Sebastian's bag until she saw him walked towards her way. "W– what should I do? H– he's coming!" she whispered.

If only anyone could feel the same pressure she felt, she would understand. Her knees trembled, her lips shivered as she covered her face by his fragrant bag.

"What are you doing?" spoke Sebastian who took his bag from her lap. His brow furrowed while the group of girls behind Halora shouted, screamed the moment they saw him.

"E– excuse me? C– can we take pictures together?" said the tall, blonde girl with a perfect, glinting emerald eyes. She was wearing the school's uniform and it perfectly suited to her.

Sebastian didn't look at her but Halora suddenly faced the girl, smiled at her awkwardly, "Oh sure! G– give me your phone, I'll take some photos of you!"

She stood that surprised the man in front of him while the gorgeous girl stepped closer to him.

"No! I can't do this in front of you!" Sebastian exclaimed, grabbed Halora's hand but she refused to leave.

She said, "1... 2... 3... say smile!"

Halora took pictures as lame as a three year old baby. The longer they stayed together, the girl moved her body closer to his face as they almost kiss each other.

Without a thought, she gritted her teeth, smiled bitterly as for the first time, she felt jealous of her. Until all of the them stood beside Sebastian, smiled sweetly as their wish finally came true.

"Oh my! I can't believe it!" said the blonde girl after Halora gave her phone to her.

"Let's go downstairs," Suddenly, a warm, right grip on her wrist brought her to the reality.

Sebastian carried his bag, tightened the grip as he was afraid to lose her. He wanted to ask her why she volunteered because he couldn't find the right answer.

After a long silence, Sebastian threw his bag to one of the vacant seat next to his teammates. He was disappointed of her for acting like a maid that gave other people the right to do whatever they want to do.

"Why did you do that? I didn't tell you to agree, for heaven's sake!" His voice raised that stopped and caught Roy's attention.

He was talking to Zenith from a distance when he heard Sebastian's loud voice while Halora stood in front of her like a pitiful, poor girl who was scolded by her big brother.

He stood, excused himself from Zenith as he only heard Sebastian.

"I can't bear to look at you the way those leeches treated you! For pete's sake, why can't you even say no just once? I–it's not a big deal at all, but damn it! Damn it! The way they laughed at you after you gave the phone... it makes me angry, Halora!"

"I– I'm sorry! I... I don't know what to do in front of everyone!" said Halora as she quickly wiped her tears away. "I... I promised, I will never do the same thing again."

At the same moment, Roy stopped, held his breath back when Sebastian pulled her and enclosed Halora around her arms.

Everyone inside of the gymnasium witnessed everything that shocked Sebastian's admirers. But to hide her identity, he touched her head as she sobbed silently at his chest.

"Roy!" called Zenith but she sighed, watched the sweet, romantic moment of Sebastian and Halora. "I know things like this will gonna happen! Look at them, they both feel safe in each other's arms."

"You are right and I think, I did the right thing after all these years."

Roy gulped as he finally gave up on his bestfriend, on Halora who became his better half. He knew the love he felt for her was nothing compare to the love of Sebastian.

There was no room of competing, because right on that moment, he set her free and he opened his heart to someone who was patiently waiting for her destined mate.

He turned around, held Zenith's arm and took her away from them. Despite all the eyes that looked at them, all judgements, speculations and rumors, Sebastian remained still, held her tightly as he promised to be her greatest love and guardian angel.

"As long as I'm here beside you, I will protect you from anyone, Halora. Even if only leads me to death... I will always choose and love you more than anything in this world." he murmured but little did he knew, while Halora leaned over to his chest, she suddenly lost her consciousness without a reason.

Sebastian realized it when he was about to let go of her. "Halora! Wake up, Halora!"

He began to panic, fortunately, his teammates helped them and they rushed Halora to the school's clinic that brought fear to everyone who witnessed it.
