Chapter 199 - 199: Your Invisible Guardian

A quiet, refreshing ambiance brought peace to Sebastian. After a long, dramatic revelation, he hurriedly went into his favorite, usual spot every time he felt upset and mad at someone who was special in his heart.

The entire surroundings were bounded by tall, rare trees, elongated plants and wild animals that lived within the deep area of the forest.

No one had never been that same place before because it was the scariest part of an enchanted woodland. Strange yet beautiful flowers bloomed perfectly, wild animals that loitered around and the chirping birds that soothed his soul.

"Cassia…," he paused, looked through out the wilderness. Sebastian leaned back to a tree of and old Malete.. It was one of the rarest trees that grew in the forest. "I… I can't believe… I can't believe that they kept it and lied behind my back."

His chest filled with unexplainable, strong emotions that almost transform him into a fatal, dreadful breast. He could have done something terrible if he didn't control it earlier in front of Lord Solomon.

He scoffed, took one stone from the ground filled with dried leaves and small branches that fell and came from the trees. "Should I tell Halora about this?"

Sebastian threw the stone into the somewhere distant until he heard a loud noise and birds that quickly fled away. He felt guilty for disturbing them and it didn't help him at all.

Looking into the beautiful, perfect creation of the invisible creator, he gasped, slowly stood up when his phone rang so loudly. "Who would it be this time?" he said, narrowing his eyes annoyingly.

However, as soon as he saw the name popped on the screen, his heart beat too fast in fear and guilt. "Halora!" he thought and was hesitant to press the answer button.

CRING! CRIIIIIING! CRING! CRIIIIIIIING! CRI-

"Halora!" he exclaimed and held back his breath until he heard her sweet, yet worried voice.

She said, "I know everything and Roy told me what happened. Is she alright now, Sebastian?"

He shook his head in agreement, "Y-yes, she's doing fine luckily." he replied stammering.

On the other line, he heard that Halora took a deep, long sigh. He knew that feeling but the doctor said Zenith just needed to take a rest.

"By the way, where a-are you? W-what are you doing?"

Halora giggled, pinched her cheeks because she couldn't stop herself from the tingling sensation. "I… I am in a bookstore, just few blocks away from my place. So, don't worry about me, I'll just buy two new books and walk back home right away."

"Alright, call me when something happened and always close the door when you get back home, do you understand?"

"Aye, Captain! But I want to visit Zenith after my homework. Can I get the hospital's address?" she asked innocently that bothered Sebastian.

He needed an alibi! Halora must not know the address of the hospital where he brought Zenith. It was not an ordinary hospital as it was built exclusively for werewolves.

Sebastian sighed, thought of an alibi that would convince her. "A-ah… h-hello? C-can you hear me, Halora?"

It was painful for him to lie to the girl he loved, but he has no choice at all. He needed to conceal the truth by white lies until he found the perfect time to confess.

As the time goes by, it became tougher and tougher. Every time he looked straight into her eyes, the more he felt guilty and culpable. Despite everything that happened, he didn't want to be a player and fool someone's feelings.

"I-is that you, Halora?" spoke a man with a cold voice.

Before he hung the call, Sebastian was left dumbfounded when he recognized that voice. He thought it would be fine knowing that his girlfriend was accompanied by someone else that threatened his life in the past.

Jealousy flaunted on his face, he gasped, clutched his hands and furrowed his brows. For a couple of minutes, he remained still on his position.

Until the cold, howling wind touched and rubbed on his skin that brought him back to her senses. "Why do I feel this way? The emptiness and longing in my heart is driving me insane!" he murmured while he listened to the voices that echoed around.

"Stay here until the night came and don't pick her up, young man." A strange voice whispered to his ears that awakened his soul.

Shockingly, he turned around, looked for the old man who said those words. "Who are you? If you're fearless enough, then why don't you show yourself to me?"

A loud voice sounded that brought fear and disturbed the living organisms. He tried his best but no one showed up from nowhere.

Eager to meet him face to face, a strong wind blew up and drifted the dried leaves. He quickly covered his eyes by his arm until the man spoke again, "You can't see me through your naked eyes, young alpha. I am your invisible guardian and I am here to warn you."

Gasping for air, Sebastian angrily kicked off the wind as he thought he could defeat the invisible man. "Goddamn it!" he cursed while he listened to a loud, sarcastic laughter.

Unexpectedly, the moment he glanced up; he saw a tornado that moved towards his way. It was strong enough to kill him but, he quickly ran away and avoided it.

"HAHAHAHA! YOU CAN'T ESCAPE FROM YOUR DESTINY! WHEN YOU FIND OUT THE REAL IDENTITY OF THE GIRL YOU LOVE, YOUR LIFE WILL BE AT RISK!"

"STOP! I DON'T WANT TO HEAR SUCH LIES AND ACCUSATIONS!"

Sebastian continued running while the tornado followed him as it was controlled by the invisible man. However, he forgot that he took the route into the highest cliff. Below it, there was a deep, beautiful sea that killed hundreds of hunters.

Slowly and fearlessly, Sebastian took steps backward, closer to the edge of the cliff. From afar, he saw how the tornado destroyed the nature. It was unstoppable but he didn't want to give up.

Sarcastically, he smiled, turned around and jumped into the deep, blue sea.

"NOOOOOOO!" the man screamed but it was too late to persuade the young, wise alpha.
