Chapter 212 - 212: Close To Me

Jealousy shown on her eyes that almost poisoned her mind and ruined her trust. His actions made her feel like a perfect statue with broken wings.

Tears shone on her eyes but she shouldn't cry in front of them. Zenith walked and stood beside Jasmine who leaped high because of excitement and anticipation.

Yet, she couldn't smile and cheer Halora when it was against her will. She should be happy for her but jealousy has devoured her system.

"Oh my gosh, I can't still believe that this is all happening right now! It would be the most popular news ever in the century!"

Jasmine murmured while Roy escorted Halora. But, beside her, she noticed that Zenith seemed unhappy and looked at Roy and Halora suspiciously.

She sighed, pointed her lips like a needle and nudged her arm. She said, "Come on! Don't act like she stole him from you."

Zenith giggled bitterly and she replied, "W- what are you talking about? Of course, I am not jealous of her!"

"Are you sure you're okay?"

"Yes, of course!" Zenith replied in a sarcastic tone but Jasmine set is aside as it was the perfect moment for Halora and her midnight sun.

Right then, Roy led the way inside the gymnasium that looked like a magical and enchanted garden as it was filled with flowers and scented candles.

As they walked slowly into the center, a young man who wore a white tuxedo paired with white shoes gulped when he heard that they were walking into his way.

His heart filled with joy and fears. And he wasn't sure of what would be the consequences of this event.

"Huh, I never thought it's a life changing surprise for the girl I love." A sweet, killer smile flaunted on his face while he stood and waited patiently for his princess.

Until one of the organizers gave him a cue that that they were getting closer and closer. He then turned around, laid his eyes on the girl who looked stunning with a white, long dress.

He said, "H- Halora!"

His deep voice was made up of admiration and love he felt for her. It was the priceless thing he could ever offer to Halora until his last breath.

As quick as it should be, the little boys who gave flowers earlier walked into the left of the court. They were all holding different letters that would form a question for Halora.

From a distance, Roy gave them a thumbs up for doing great. Slowly turned his head to Sebastian who looked nervous and excited at the same time.

For a moment, Roy imagined himself waiting for Halora. He imagined the same thing but he knew, it was impossible to rewrite his destiny anymore.

Bitterly, he smiled and bowed his head when he met his gaze. It was sign of respect that even Halora will no longer be in his side always, he would be still her best friend who will never turn his back on her.

"We're here, Halora." he whispered and stopped right in front of Sebastian.

Gently, he let go of her arms that frightened of Halora. "W- where are you g- going? P- please, please don't you ever dare to leave me again, Roy!" she exaggeratedly told him.

Silently, Roy tapped Sebastian's shoulders and shook his head. Before he walked away, he whispered into his ears that stunned Sebastian, "Don't make her cry or I'll be your enemy forever."

Until he walked right into Zenith who felt bothered and annoyed. "Hmm, someone is jealous." He playfully said as he stood next to her. Secretly, he held tightly her cold, wet hand. "Don't move, I know what you need right now." he said that left her amazed until a sweet smile showed on her lips.

"Let's watch a romantic, sweet surprise of the century." spoke Zenith and leaned her head to his shoulder.

"Ahem! I never knew that it would be a double celebration!"

On the other side, Jasmine rolled her eyes on them. She found it disgusting because she has never been in a relationship before until Roy threw a crumpled paper and chuckled. She was about to throw it back to him when they heard Sebastian's deep and cold voice.

He was looking at Halora when he murmured, "I… I knew it will fit on you, Halora!" he gulped, stooped to her that made her emotional and weakened her knees.

Her lips shivered as she opened her mouth. "I- if I… I am not mistaken, is t- that you… Sebastian?"

A strong feeling provoked Halora as she burst into tears. His presence, his voice mattered the most to her.

"Yes, I am, Halora. A- and, and I want to apologize if I suddenly disappeared last night without telling you so!"

"N- no! I- it is not a big deal and if you'll ask me if I am mad on you, I am not." she replied.

Sebastian has thousands of reasons to love Halora eternity. She was the girl he has been looking for and no matter what would happen, he was willing to put his life at stake and let her live.

After being blindfolded, Sebastian took a deep breath as it was the time to take it off and show Halora everything he prepared. He seemed nervous but his friends encouraged and lifted him up.

"I… am not sure if you'll like everything, but before I take this blindfold off, give to me the small box, Halora."

"S- small box?" she asked confusingly until she remembered that it was in her hands. "I'm sorry, I… I just so nervous right now!"

Halora smiled over shoulders and gave the box to him. She closed her eyes for a second as she felt a warm hand that took it off gently.

He said, "Open your eyes, Halora."

Anxiously, Halora sighed deeply as she slowly opened her eyes. And the moment she caught a glimpse of everything inside the gymnasium, her heart fluttered, weakened her knees until she stumbled upon but was caught perfectly by Sebastian.

It stunned her but his head closed to her face flattered her more than anything else. "Y- you're too close to me, S- Sebastian.." She stutteringly said and embarrassingly looked around that was filled with sweet reactions.
