Markus couldn't feel his body while darkness devoured the sky. The students around stopped, looked up above as it was very startling.
He wanted to grab Halora's hands away from the danger, but his eyes widened when he saw Sebastian ran towards her.
Sebastian said, "Go back to your senses, Markus! The enemy attacked us behind our back!"
"What? Early in the morning?"
"Hurry up, we don't have much time!" said Sebastian and held Halora's hand tightly.
The young woman took a deep breath when she realized who was the man who grabbed her earlier. She couldn't believe what is going on, but there was one thing to be sure.
She missed him so bad that she could even embrace him tightly and never let go of his side.
"Sebastian! I… I thought you're not around!" she said, staring at him closely.
"Hold on to my arms, Halora. I can't lose you again."
Sebastian quickly ran away from the wide field without looking back. It was the best thing to do for now and fighting against the enemy would be a suicide.
However, Kairos wanted to chase him and take Halora with him, but Markus stopped him right away.
He knew nothing would happen to Halora at the moment. He said, "Let them for now, Kairos. It's been two days since they meet each other."
Kairos slightly shook his head in disbelief. He closed his fists when he couldn't find a better way to kill Damara first.
He turned his head and looked at him for a moment. "I know he's stronger than us, but I don't want Halora to be deeply attached with him."
"Sooner or later, if they part ways, it would be hard to forget each other."
"Yes, but ensuring everyone's safety is our priority not Halora's love life." spoke Markus.
Out of the blue, he remembered where the staff usually made an announcement. He gasped, looked at the building from the opposite side.
He said, "Stay here, Kairos! I must warn everyone to go home before Damara's dangerous attack!"
"You're right! Go, Markus and I will convince them to go home!"
With all strength they have, Kairos quickly ran to the group of students who seemed shocked by how the weather changed suddenly.
While Markus moved towards the building where he could make an immediate warning and announcement.
This time, they must protect everyone as they protect Halora. Even how hard it would be, they must do their best to ensure the mankind's safety.
"Everyone, please go back home and stay with your family until further news! It's an emergency and we can't guarantee everyone's wellbeing!"
Few of the students listened to Kairos because of his teacher uniform, but a great number of students didn't believe at all.
They thought it was purely an ordinary phenomenon as they burst into laughter, wagging their hands like a dog's tail.
"You can't fool everyone here, Sir! If you want to go home, then why don't you run away by yourself?"
"Oh, a teacher must be afraid of darkness. What do you think?" One of the students spoke and insulted him.
But Kairos didn't waste his time arguing with amateurs. There were a lot of people to convince and if they don't want to listen, he has nothing to do with it anymore.
He said, "If you want to live, listen. But if you want to die, then stay where you are."
Right then, he ran towards the group of girls who seemed afraid of the dark surroundings. He then brought them to the main exit as they quickly vanished from his sight.
Until an immediate announcement was made and echoed around the entire campus.
"Everyone, due to an urgent matter, Mrs. Lee gave me the permission to make such immediate announcement. To protect you from danger, I am humbly asking everyone to go back home and stay indoors. It is the best way to do and whether you believe it or not, you have to leave the school as soon as possible."
Finally, Markus did it before a lot of students got injured like before. And before he left the room, he repeated the announcement once more.
Until more students followed the announcement as they hurriedly went into the exit area, breathing heavily, pushing each other when bravery shrouded by fear.
Kairos and the securities helped together in rescuing thousands of students. No one knew what was about to happen but, it would be a triumph if the enemy couldn't hurt anyone anymore.
On the other side, Sebastian brought Halora to one of the empty rooms. Both of them were catching their breaths until the campus bad boy walked into the window.
From above, he saw how students panicked and stepped into each other. Few of them were stumbled upon, got hurt and wounded.
He wanted to blame himself for not rescuing everyone like how he planned everything.
"It's my fault. If I speak to the school principal right away, no one should be right here today." he murmured that caught Halora's attention.
She sighed deeply, looking at his broad back, long, perfect legs and arms. Halora wanted to stay that way until nightfall.
But it was impossible to happen at this time of darkness. "Why did you help me?" she asked coldly.
The young alpha didn't utter a single word either moved away from the window. He missed her so much but he controlled himself.
Every time he laid his eyes on her, he would always want to pull her closer and sealed Halora with a kiss. If that thing happens right now, he couldn't maybe stop himself anymore.
He gasped without a blink of an eye, gritting his teeth for seconds and felt Halora's presence from behind.
Sebastian gulped, shook his head to distract himself from committing voracious actions to her.
He said shortly, "Stay away…" Closing his glinting blue eyes was the only way he could do. But Halora was too persistent.
Instead of turning her back on him, she frighteningly reached for his arms and closed her eyes.
It was too warm that soothe herself, "I missed you, Sebastian.." she murmured that stunned the campus bad boy.
