Episode 220- Serial killer doll that was out to get every bad kid.
His eyes were glaring heavily at Eugene as he hissed, "WHAT.DID.YOU.DO?"
Eugene smiled sweetly at the bandit. Her smile however didn't reach her eyes, "What could I possibly do?" Her voice was just as sweet as her lips when she replied.
"YOU B-TCH!" He cussed as his hand reached for the inside of his jacket. Before he could take out whatever was in his jacket, Eugene was already in front of him in a blink of an eye and before he could react, he was kicked to the ground hard. Her feet were on his ribs and his hand as she stepped on him.
"This b-tch is here." Her words didn't match her angle-like expression as she stared at him from above. She lowered herself down slowly until their noses almost touched as she stared at him with her bloodshot eyes.
"Whatever shall this b-tch do to you?" Her pitch was high, and because it was high, she sounded like a serial killer doll that was out to get every bad kid.
The bandit leader was shaking in anger however he found himself unable to respond to her taunts. His body was chilly, however, he did not cower, as he stared back straight into her red orbs.
"Eugeneia?" Con called out to Eugene. Eugene's sudden switch in personality was frightening that he forgot to call her by her military title.
Eugene stepped back and turned to Con. There was nothing but a blank expression on her face as she stated, "Change of plans. Kill them all."
"But-"
Eugene cut Con before he could finish, "Kill them all." What Con is worried about won't happen. If they can kill everyone, they will be fine.
Eugene wanted to torment the living hell out of the bandit leader for a while but because she was out of time, she decided on a quick death. She pulled out her sword that had been hidden inside her huge robe all this whole time and smiled. Con's sword was stripped away because the enemies saw the outline of his sword through his robe. Not to mention, they did a full-on body search on Con before he was allowed to sit next to Eugene.
Eugene pointed her sword at the bandit's leader's head whose eyes were now trembling violently in horror.
"WAI-"
Before he could finish, his head was already rolling into the forest. It was a violent picture and a violent scene as Eugene's world dyed red for the first time in a while. Her beautiful grey hair and pale face were dyed completely red, looking like a serial killer at the moment.
Eugene didn't bother with the 50 bandits who had already passed away or some who were struggling to stay alive and walked towards Darius' direction.
Eugene and Con headed to the financial base after retrieving Con's sword. But just before they arrived at the base, they heard multiple sounds inside a shed. This made Eugene and Con stop walking when suddenly Darius walked out of the shed. Con was prepared and ready to attack Darius when Eugene stopped him.
No words were said between the three when suddenly the shed began to light up in a fire at a fast rate. Following that, screams and howls of pain could be heard. There was no need to confirm but there are many people in the midst of burning alive.
Con looked at Darius and Eugene, perplexed. He felt that something was wrong with this situation.
"Are they all out?" Eugene asked Darius with an emotionless voice.
"Yes, Miss Eugeneia." Darius smiled lightly which made Eugene feel nothing but disgust. However, she could not do anything even when she was disgusted, hence held herself back.
Eugene was about to leave when suddenly she remembered something very important. "Where is Noelle?" There was danger in her voice that demanded an answer from Darius. She had asked Noelle to spy on Darius the day before, but she had not seen Noelle's face since then until now, despite the fact that Darius was present.
"Noelle?" Darius tilted his head.
"...."
Darius smiled, "Oh that woman." He pretended to have realized the person Eugene was talking about.
"Hnn, we had a wonderful night together." Darius smiled as if he 'remembered' what happened the day previous.
Eugene's eyes widened and she immediately reached for her sword when Darius broke out laughing.
"I'm joking." He waved his hands to get rid of the tension in the air. When he saw Eugene not laughing with him, he toned down his laugh, "She was almost caught. So I put her to sleep and tied her up in my motel room."
"...." Eugene's eyes narrowed down dangerously at Darius. She stared at him for a few seconds before she let go of her sword.
Darius smiled, reached for his jacket, and shook the water gourd Eugene had given him earlier, "Thanks for this, Miss."
"If I had a choice, I wouldn't give it to you," Eugene responded. Her voice filled with sincerity as she meant what she said.
Darius ignored her words, his facial expression became serious and he bowed, "Thank you."
"...." His seriousness irked her so she turned away.
She was serious when she said that if she had a choice, she wouldn't give it to him. What was in the water gourd wasn't a bomb, wasn't water, but her blood. It was something Euria told her to do before she fell unconscious. She told Eugene to find a way to hand over her blood to Darius. And she didn't have a choice because she couldn't refute Euria who had already fainted.
The one thing she knew was that Euria somehow won Darius over and that Darius would be their allies if she gave him her blood. Because the wish was to heal, Eugene deduced that Darius needed her blood to heal himself or someone important to him. Someone important enough to betray the organization.
"I will be heading back to the island now. There are about 50 or so enemies still roaming but Miss can deal with that right?" Darius asked with a smile. His words sounded as if he was challenging her.
Eugene didn't know how to respond to his question and chose to keep quiet. She thought that he would help her get rid of the enemies, but thinking about it again, he shouldn't risk being seen by anyone helping them so she let him off.
"You can leave," Eugene said, before turning away and heading straight towards where the gold was.
And like she thought, there were people trying to move the gold away.
"HEY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" Someone spotted Eugene from afar and shouted at her.
Eugene walked in calmly and pretended as if nothing was wrong. Her nonchalant attitude made them raise their guards up due to the fact that she was alone and without anyone. Of course, they could also see the sword Eugene was carrying, hence they stopped whatever they were doing and picked up their weapon.
"1, 2, 10, 40, 50…" Eugene began to count loudly, sending shivers down the bandits' spine. All of a sudden she frowned.
"59." Her face was scrunched up. 'There's 59, not 50.' As expected, Darius' words were unreliable!
'Whatever. Just 9 more wouldn't kill me.' Eugene thought as she twisted and stretched her neck.
Without waiting for the enemies to attack, she struck first using both her old family martial art as well as the Veria swordsmanship. The two styles combined made fighting Eugene confusing yet made her untouchable. Veria's swordsmanship allowed her to react instantly when there was an incoming attack, while her former family's martial art allowed her to fight people bigger than her size.
'9 done. 50 left.' Eugene smiled eerily.
Unlike Euria, her sword did not produce any sound. Though her skills were lacking compared to Euria, it was still as deadly. The technique didn't matter much to Eugene, as she wanted to get rid of the enemies as soon as possible.
"URGH!" Eugene struck two enemies at the same time using the sheath of her sword with her right hand and her real sword on her left. The sword and sheath stuck in the middle of the enemies throat allowed her to jump and twist from that position to land on the third guy. Using the strength of her thighs, she strangled him while pulling her sword and sheath from the enemies throat.
The enemies couldn't bear seeing Eugene choking their comrade and they all came rushing at her at once. This made Eugene jump down from the guy and climb up on the tree. Just then, beside her, Con lit up a wooden stick. He had been on the tree since a while ago as per Eugene's order.
Eugene's lip curved up as Con threw down the 'water' gourd he lit up.
No one knew how surprised he was when Eugene told him about the bomb she made.
