Eva's POV:
That mysterious man ogled at me for a moment and slowly walked closer to me. I was still being hysteric with a chaotic situation. My feet were all frozen as I was standing against the metallic wall of the elevator, at the extreme edge. The elevator door was still open but he continued walking towards me. Surprisingly, I was completely lost in my eyes and didn't move a bit.
He reached utmost closeness and sternly slapped the metallic wall of the elevator with his right arm. I was standing all frigid against the wall being surrounded by him. His other arm was put inside his suit pocket and he was staring at me intensively.
Slowly he leaned towards my face a bit as he appeared quite taller than me. He brought his face much closer that I could easily feel his breath. His eyes were quite dark and intense.
Suddenly my heart started pounding loudly with the unexpected closeness. There wasn't much distance between us, as if we tilt our heads a bit according to our positions, we could easily kiss each other. But suddenly, something strange happened.
I started perceiving some kind of sweet smell emitting from him. I was absolutely sure that it wasn't the smell of any deodorant, but rather than the fragrance was quite captivating as well as masculine. My heart was pounding crazily, and several lustrous thoughts started running wild on my mind with the perception of that smell. His eyes looked too passionate while glued on me. He was breathing quite heavily and leaned a bit more towards me. I could perceive he clenched his fist while cornering me against the wall as if he was trying his best to hold back his urges.
"Are you a human?"
Suddenly an absurd question from him startled me. I had completely lost my senses being emulsified within his sweet fragrance, but the question flinched me.
"Huh?" I reacted.
"I asked that if you are a human?" He continued his weird query.
"Do I seem like an alien to you?" I replied grumpily as unknowingly I acted a bit offended. The passionate atmosphere was totally spoiled with his blunt question.
"A human can't possess such a captivating smell." He interrogated me again while ogling at me intensively.
"Smell? What do you mean by it?" I asked.
He sighed heavily as if he wanted to convey something but couldn't. But somehow, his eyes couldn't lie...
"But you either don't seem human to me. Who are you?" I frowned my eyebrows and reciprocated his inquiry. His strange aura was making me immensely suspicious about him.
For a while, he didn't even try to shove his face away, neither did I. Both of us were lost in each other eyes with immense queries submerged in it. After some time, he lifted his head away from me and stepped back a little from me. His ears were flustered red and he tried to avoid eye contact with me. My heart continued beating fast as I could still perceive the strange fragrance from him. I never felt such kind of scent from any man, so it was an unexpected phenomenon for me.
"You... should be careful around here. I can't stick along to protect you from everyone." He scrunched his eyebrows and sounded quite coarse. Somehow it appeared as if he wanted to implement some different meaning hidden within his warning, but he couldn't put up in words.
I ogled at him being wholly spellbound for an instance. Slowly I started moving closer towards him. "Why don't you answer, who are you? How did you know that I was in danger?" I asked him being a little impatient. Several questions were running on my mind and his gestures made me more curious.
He immediately lowered his eyes and turned back and starting heading back from the elevator. He seemed to leave with many dark secrets within his obscure silence.
"Was it you?" I called him aloud again in a raised voice.
His motion halted and he partially turned his face towards me. "What do you mean?" He sounded agitated.
I buckled up my confidence and stared at him intensively. "Was it you who saved my life that night? Are you the one I am searching for?" I reciprocated.
He seemed totally surprised by my sudden confrontation and abruptly turned his face away from me. "I don't know what you are talking about. Maybe you should calm down your brain." He sounded too cryptic and rashly walked outside the elevator.
I looked at all the way he left my sight. As soon as he left, my feet lost their balance and I dropped down on the ground. "Damn, I can't believe, I was so indecently attracted to his smell just a few moments ago! I was actually allured by a stranger!" I murmured while covering my embarrassed face with both of my hands. I was flustered red and breathing quite heavily.
Slowly I lifted up my face and stared at the way he just went by. "Why did he ask me such a weird question? Did he sense any special smell from me, just as I did? What's happening to us? Are we turning into perverts?" I wondered with a curious gaze in my eyes.
