Czar stood still, absolutely motionless, lowering his grimace downwards. The painful flashback of the haunting memories that he had buried deep down in his cold, wrecked heart was tormenting his inner soul brutally. He stood completely silent, breathing out heavily.
All of a sudden, Eva noticed that his spare right arm was shivering a bit. It seemed as if he was undergoing some kind of tremor anxiety attack, but he was trying hard to endure it silently. People often get exposed to such kinds of situations if they are encountered with some kind of traumatized memory, and probably something around that was happening there with him. In her inner mind, she assumed it.
Slowly, she also perceived that the strength with which Czar was clenching her wrist, was gradually lessening furthermore. She sensed his inner conflicts and wiped out her tears, continuing to gawk at him in awe.
"Ar-Are you...okay?" In a crooked husky tone, she asked him first.
Czar still stood all numb, but with her soft crooked voice, his shivering arm seemed to be gradually returning to its normalized form. It stopped shaking and abruptly, he unleashed her wrist from his grip too, lowering his arms down, deviating a bit away from her.
After a moment of awful silence, he raised his chin up with a grimacing expression imprinted all over his face. His porcelain white bright face seemed to be faded with an unknown wave of profound sadness. He stared at her straight in the eye for some time and chose to speak hereafter.
"You...You will have to promise me...that...you will be never coming here back again after you see him today..." His voice sounded very deep, merged with an unusual bitter tone.
"Pardon?" Eva was still surprised with his proclamation and reciprocated him back in wonder.
"I will let you in just...just for today. But after you see him, leave right away and you won't be able to come here back again. Can you agree with my deal?" His eyes looked much darker than usual staring at her intensively.
"You...You will help me? You...will allow me to get inside?"
"Can't you understand human language? Then tell me, in which language I should communicate with you?" His tone sounded much irked and turbulent this time as if he was getting vexed up with her.
His answer was still unbelievable for her to digest, but this time she didn't urge to make him much agitated by repeating his reply again and again. Such an atrocious arrogant guy like him who was viciously threatening her to death, by violently clenching her wrist imposing his wish against her will...was miraculously speaking the exact opposite suggestion in such a less span of time. It was getting much suspicious for her to concede.
"Do...Do you want to kill me by bringing me inside the mansion? What do you intend?" She furrowed her eyebrows asking him in a blunt pitch.
"I intend to help you...to see that dumb guy for... one time." He responded to her, in a valiant sharp tone.
"Why? Why do you all of a sudden change your mind so quickly? Just before sometime you were so rigid and deadly against my decision, but now... why do you agree to help me? It's obviously suspicious for me to trust you..." She took a sharp glimpse at the bruised red area on her wrist resulted due to the fierce strength that he poured to clench her arm forcibly against the wall. From her posture, she seemed much offended with him.
He took a heavy breath inside and lowered his eyeballs, cryptically blinking a few times before answering her. "Just a few moments ago, the way you were ugly sobbing...I too have grieved out like that helplessly... just like you, stuck in a similar situation...
But...no one intended to help me that time... Fucking no one did! If they would have at least... listened to me, perhaps, I didn't have to grow up as the kind of person I have become now..." His voice reverberated in a heavy echo, implying much despair in his expression.
Eva stood silent, listening to him without uttering a single word in response. She was growing more inquisitive with his statements.
"It's strange... it's really so damn strange!" All of a sudden, he smirked at her holding a dubious eloquence, and stared straight into her dark brown eyes swirled at him. "The memories...The visions...which I had convinced my inner self that I have forgotten everything past all these years... miraculously haunted me again when I saw you wailing helplessly just to see that damn fool... You...You reprimanded me of my past vulnerable side which I had assumed of burying down deep. You...reminded me of myself...of... who am I..." As he continued to speak in a cold voice, somehow, his smirk faded with a tinge of sadness, implementing the weight of emotions his voice was overbearing.
She stayed silent for a while, observing his emotional convulsion from close. "Did you too face something...remorseful?" Unknowingly, she blurted out.
With her direct proclamation, it seemed Czar finally regained his senses back and stiffened his posture, glimpsing at her fixed. "Why would I disclose my personal life to you? Are we that close?" Immediately, she sensed a sharp change in tone in his coarse voice, as he charged her back.
She furrowed her eye-brow ridge and glared at him. "But just now you were sharing your story with me on your own... Why are you charging me back?"
"I really don't wanna share anything about myself with such a fragile woman like you. But one thing I must disclose... You looked so freaking ugly while sobbing for him... It really amused me to see you in such a distressed state. Well, I really love to watch others getting depressed." With a spooky smile, he tried to tease her changing their topic of conversation, tucking his both arms within the arm notch and leaning his back against the wall.
Eva glared at him, rolling her eyeballs wider with a fierce gaze. "He is indeed such a creepy arrogant punk! Why the hell I had to be involved with him right here?" She cussed at him inside her mind.
