"Mom, why are you being so stubborn all of a sudden? I am already awake and I am gradually doing much better! Why are you confining me inside?" Sulking his face, he snapped at her in a displeased tone.
She took a deep breath in, flipped her shimmering brown hair down the shoulder, and murmured in a deep voice, "I don't have a choice, my son. Especially after all these strange things happening in our mansion."
"Strange things?" Gulping in anxiety, Czar immediately reciprocated her question back.
Aelia stood all firm and didn't even bother to answer at Czar's reply. Her eyes were still fixed at Zeus and nonchalantly she responded to him, "Mr. Tylor has disappeared from our mansion."
"What? How?" Rolling his dark pupils wider, Zeus abruptly shrieked in dread, looking shocked.
Czar too was startled with the unexpected revelation and stood numb, gawking at Aelia in fear. All of a sudden, his face turned absolutely pale as if he could sense something horrific in here.
"I don't know... We are trying to find about the situation...He was our senior butler as well as one of the most trustworthy people of our pack... What caused his sudden disappearance, is yet to be investigated. But as for now, I absolutely can't cut off any slack when it comes to your safety, Zeus. That's why, I decided to appoint these two tough men of our pack who can look after you well enough, till you are healed completely." Slowly, she pointed her tapered fingers towards those tall, dapper broad men who were standing behind her. As soon as she pointed at them, obediently they bowed their head before Zeus to offer their generosity.
"Greetings to our Alpha. We will do our very best to protect you, even with our life." Both of them repeated their words synchronically, in an intrepid posture.
Seeming very impatient and troubled inside, Czar immediately dashed out of the room taking giant bold steps leaving them a bit startled with his act. As he quickly walked out, Zeus seemed a little worried and kept glancing at the way he left.
Aelia slowly took a small peek at the door and her facial expression turned much sour. Clearing her throat, she responded to him, "Zeus, I also suggest you, stay away from that brat. Don't you see, how dubiously he just walked out from here! I bet, he must be plotting any vile attempt inside his malicious head--"
"Mom, please!" Promptly, he intervened between her reply with his vicious dominant tone and paused her from speaking further. His appearance looked much irked as he frowned his eyebrow ridge while glowering at her. "Please stop always presuming about Czar! The way you are always humiliating him may be the reason he just walked out of the room. Stop always suspecting him out of blue."
"What?" She scowled at him rolling her fiery eyes vexedly. "Are you taking that brat's side now? Are you defending him?"
"I am not defending him, mom! But nothing can change away from the fact that he is my brother! We bear the same blood! If...If you can't give him the minimal respect that he deserves, at least as our pack member, then you must stop doubting about him always! Also...you don't need to cut out some slack in your obsession towards me mom, because I am not a kid anymore. I can and I will take care of my own."
"Zeus... you are snapping back at your mother for that evil brat--"
"Everyone, get out of my room right now. My head is aching too hard and I want to be alone for some time. Till I summon anyone after some time, no one is allowed to enter! It's my strict command as an Alpha."
Immediately, in a loud vicious tone, Zeus grumbled out his verdict with the intense moment between him and his mother. She seemed extremely displeased with his reaction and without wasting a single second, she stomped her feet in anger and chose to walk out of the room. Those two men looking much confused for a moment chose to follow after her quietly as Zeus was looking extremely irked.
Sitting up on the bed, he took a deep sigh out and glanced at his abdominal part which was tightly wrapped up in bandages, severely injured. Frowning his eloquence, he murmured out on his own, in a heavy voice. "Why the situation has turned so messy in here? Damnit! I...I have to see Eva...I must..."
.....
Dashing fiercely straight at the giant balcony of the floor, Czar was swirling his dark intense gaze around as if he was deliberately looking for someone. Soon he reached the spot, his feet halted as it seemed his searching was finally over.
Ivory was standing all stiff, leaning on the metal railing at the edge of the balcony with a cold stern expression on her face. Her eyes looked saddened, filled with grief as she was looking at the endless horizon holding a blank gaze.
"Ivory?" Seeming much impatient and agitated, Czar called her behind in a loud deep resonance. With his sudden call, she flinched a bit and turned her head behind, gawking at him in awe. From her gestures, it seemed as if she wasn't expecting him to be there in the first place.
"Why you are here, Czar? Do you need something?" Slowly, she muttered.
He didn't respond to her query and walked closer to her, appearing much bothered. Staring straight into her eyes he chose to speak. "Mr. Tylor has disappeared from the mansion. Do you know about it?"
"Oh... I see..." Looking a bit perplexed, she turned her gaze away towards the outside.
"Oh, I see? That's all you have to say? Aren't you surprised a little?" Czar grumbled out in a deep voice, frowning his eyebrows.
Ivory stood firm for a moment and without uttering any single word, she turned behind to walk away from the balcony. As she was about to leave, immediately Czar groped her arm from the back, intending to stop her from leaving.
She seemed a bit offended and slightly shifted her gaze sideways. "Czar, what are you doing--"
"You killed him, Ivory...didn't you? Why did you do it? He... He was always kinder towards you! Why the heck you killed him?" He snapped at her in a low, furious voice.
She still stayed all stiff like a statue and didn't object to him. After a moment of silence, she took a deep sigh out and shoved her arm away from him.
"To protect my love... I can go beyond any boundaries, Czar...
I know, Zeus is in illusion... I know that human wench can never love him the way I selflessly did till all these years...
But I can't abandon him ever till I am alive... I know, he will come back to me someday... And... I will do whatever it takes to keep him safe from evil eyes..."
In a glum painful voice, she murmured out and steadily walked away from the balcony leaving him behind all startled and spellbound.
"Damn it! I guess, everyone in this mansion has lost their mind... Including me too..." With an agitated look on his face, he wondered with a heavy huff of breath.
