Chapter 98 - Denial!

"Pu...Punishment?" Gulping her saliva and frowning her eyebrow, Clara reciprocated his command in a husky tone.

"Yes."

"What ki...kind of punishment? I...I won't accept any... perverted stuff---"

"Relax, my wild kitten!" A sly chuckle escaped his slender puffy lips as he slowly retreated to take his seat back on the bench before conveying further, "I won't do any lewd stuff with a woman without her consent. I have...my dignity."

"How can I trust such a jerk like you who is all of a sudden messing up my entire life! Why am I stuck with such a nuisance like you?" Thinking with a perplexed gesture, she stood still fidgeting her toes involuntarily.

"Well, since it's your first day in serving me, I will go easy on you. Go and bring hot chocolate milk for me." Folding his broad arms inside the arm notch, he commanded in a stiff voice.

"Hot chocolate milk? Bu...But there aren't any cafeterias within a 2km radius..."

"So what?" Raising his left eyebrow, he pointed a pricky question towards her. "Use your strength and run away to fulfill your master's command. It will take probably 15-20mins if you use your real speed." His tone sounded quite arrogant and cold.

"But--"

"Go away or I might command something harsh for you. Hurry up, I am parched." Acting like a rich spoiled brat, he diverted his gaze towards his phone without listening to her further response.

"Such a nasty punk!" Cursing him again inside her mind, she quickly turned her back towards him and slightly stretched out her tall limbs. Slowly she closed both of her eyes for a second and opened them in a jolt. This time her eyes were devoid of the natural brown color, instead, the eyeballs were transformed into an illuminant blue appearance. In a fraction of a second, she started running straight towards the opposite direction from him, taking huge leaps forward with her superstrong limbs. In a flash, she completely disappeared from his sight as he was noticing her actions quietly from behind. Czar had a wide smile on his face while observing her utilizing her strength which she tries so hard to conceal from the rest of the world.

"Don't worry my dear, your master will revive back your inner she-wolf soon again... Even though you have lived among these filthy humans all these years... But you will never be on the same level with those weak creatures. You...I...We are the superior ones..."

...

"Mas...Master, here's your...hot chocolate milk..."

Huffing deep breathe out, after a few minutes later she came back to him holding out a cup of warm chocolate milk just as he demanded. As soon as she came back, Czar took a sharp glance at his phone and turned it off inside his pocket.

"You came back within 7 minutes! Nice job, my dear slave! But... I am not in a mood to drink this chocolate milk anymore." He replied cheekily.

Clara seemed extremely vexed with his sly response as her brow ridge was twitching in anger. "Ma...Master...why are you messing with me like this?" Her tone sounded much irked.

"Simple. You are my new toy and I am playing around with you. Isn't it amazing?" Scanning her from head to toe with his witty gaze, he further reciprocated his proclamation, "but since you obeyed my punishment, the master will be generous to give you an award. You can drink it all by yourself. Come, sit beside me." Softly he tapped his arm on the bench, asking her to grab a seat next to him quite meekly.

"This weirdo seems twisted! Darn it, I am almost losing my patience around him." Looking much displeased, she quietly sat beside keeping a bit of distance between them. Fuming in anger, she was slurping the drink from the cup as her throat was quite quenched in thirst.

"You know I like this annoyed as fuck look on your pretty face... It makes me wanna tease you a bit more using your secret as my weapon..." Straightening his back on the seat, he spoke in a cryptic tone, shifting his side gaze towards her.

"Whatever..."

"But one thing I am really curious about you... Why are you playing with my whims?"

Startled at his blunt question, she flickered her eyelashes gazing at him intensively for a couple of seconds. "What?"

"Why are you so desperate to protect your secret from your friend? I guess...I am irritating you to a greater extent... Judging from your vexatious reactions, you already seem on the edge of your endurance. So...why? Why aren't you quitting this game already? What makes you so desperate?" Frowning his expression, he swung a few pricky questions at her.

Clara sat still momentarily unable to answer him any abrupt response. Clenching the cup on her timid arms, she lowered her eyes down from him giving off a heavy sigh, "I...I don't wanna lose Eva... She is the only support I ever had in my lonely life... She has been always my true friend--"

"Why do you need a human to survive your own life? Also... if she has been always this loyal to you, she would also accept your real truth of existence without abandoning you! Then, what makes you so scared?"

"She...won't accept me..." Her voice shivered, looking a bit petrified she clenched her fist being confounded with anxiety. "Once she knows about my truth...she will abandon me... I am the kind of creature she despises the most..."

"She despises wolves?" Furrowing his brow ridge, he tossed a quick inquiry, with his dark gaze almost glittering in impertinence. Clara sat stiff, solidified like a rock nodding her head in response.

Immediately a wide crafty grin appeared on his face as he happened to be amused at her answer. Unknowingly, smirking on his own, he mumbled, "that's such an interesting turn of events! I can't wait to see the look on his face when she will abandon him too! Damn, that will be such an auspicious day to celebrate my first win!"

"Wh...What? What are you mumbling about?" Looking all baffled, she reciprocated his proclamation.

"Soon enough...I will watch someone close to me doomed in despair... Especially, thanks to your friend!" Winking at her with a smile, he resonated much meekly.

"You love to watch others in despair, right?" Glancing at him, she frowned her chin while asking.

"Yes... I love to see others whimpering in pain!!" Swirling his pupils wider, his eyes transformed into the beta blue color, emitting a wicked aura. "Look at the car coming towards us. There are four people inside... Should I flip the car and kill them all?" His voice grew dark as he pointed towards a black car running down the street towards them,  flickering his eyebrows.

Clara stayed still, staring at his gestures without answering a single word in response.

"It won't take more than a minute for me to kill those powerless creatures. The area will splash with a pool of blood...they will whimper in pain and thinking about their suffering is enough exciting for me, wild kitten! Don't you think so too? Don't you like to watch others in pain?"

She slowly lowered her head at his inquiry, tossing a timid sad grin on her face. "I won't lie... I was just like you before... I won't hide the fact that even though I am living with these humans, but I still hate their presence around me..." She fidgeted a little, clenching her fist that was resting on her lap. "But...since I found Eva... Everything changed in my life. She...She taught me to sympathize with other's pain... She taught me the peace of being selfless sometimes even though her fate has been always too cruel for her...But...She is indeed an angel who blessed my life with her presence... The only reason I...I stopped attacking humans is Eva... She is too precious for me and...I can't lose her in my life..."

Quietly resting still and numb, Czar listened to her response without uttering a single word. Her answer somehow throbbed a part of his heart, tingling a sweet pain inside.

Lowering his grimace down from her, a sad smile occupied his face before he spoke, "she...she is the first person I ever encountered after my mom who called me a good person... She...is very weird indeed..." A deep sigh emitted out of his lips, and quickly enough Clara turned her face towards him, staring intensively.

"Do you...like her?"

"Wh-What!?"

"I mean...do you have feelings for her?" She repeated.

Shocked at her straight question, Czar sat solidified like a rock, gazing at her impertinent eloquence for a few minutes. Reviving his senses after an awkward silence, he irked back at her in a loud voice, "what a crappy joke! How could you presume such an impossible thought for me? Why would I ever have feelings for a mere human like her? That's impossible! That's...purely impossible!!"
