As she was glancing at him, quietly, he placed his hand inside his suit pocket and took out the golden shimmering ruby bracelet embroidered with fox fur that he had specially arranged for her. Making a stiff look on his face, he gently grabbed her arm before putting tying it on her wrist.
"Eva, can I ask you for something?" His voice sounded a bit serious as he lifted his eyes up to stare deeply at her.
"Ye-Yes." She nodded.
"Never ever...take it off from your arm... no matter what happens... I am forbidding you from doing so and that's my command for you. Not only of my pack...I am also your Alpha starting from today. So...You won't disobey me, right?" His eyes seemed much darker as he enunciated those words tying the glinting bracelet tenderly on her frail wrist.
For a moment, she stood still as he finished doing it glancing at her sharply. Slowly, she lowered her eyes down and gawked at the sparkling ruby stone beautifully engraved at the centre of it. The red fox fur embroidered thread also resembled pretty sophisticated.
"I...have always put you through so much trouble...isn't it Zeus?" A sad smile curved on her lips while she whispered those words in a bereaved voice. "Last time too...I brought all the trouble on myself by taking your necklace off...I...even watched your precious gift being destroyed right before my eyes... I am such a...troublemaker indeed..."
"Eva...Look, you don't have to think about all that happened in the past---"
"But I won't do the same mistake anymore." She raised her eyes firmly up peering at him sounding quite resolute from her eloquence. "I have learnt my lesson already, Zeus. As your luna, I am giving you my word too...Till my last breath...I won't ever take off this bracelet and the ring on my own, no matter what happens to me. I will treasure them with my life this time...Rest assured." Her firm gaze was fixed deep into his wide, rolled eyes with a soft sneer spreading on her grimace as she asserted.
Hearing her heartfelt confession a broad, proud smile grew on his expression as he slowly moved a step closer to her, cupping her face with both of his palms. "Till you have them with you...my endless love will protect you from the touch of any evil spirit growing malicious intentions towards you. I will make sure to spend the rest of my life...fighting for you. Rest assured." Whispering his pledge in a warm note, he softly placed a kiss on her forehead showing his sincere affection.
"The fate of our love is so sad...yet...the most beautiful thing I ever witnessed in this cruel world. Thank you...for giving me a new life..." A teary smile tossed on her lips as she wondered inside her mind shutting her eyes for a second to feel his warm embrace. Slowly she opened her eyes and witnessed, he was already looking at her with his love-filled enlarged eyes.
"I love you..." His fond whisper amidst the mild whirling sound of those blue ocean waves seemed the most ecstatic fairy-tale confession to her enlightening her with a broad delighted smile.
Her heart was pounding hard lovingly as she tenderly leaned her face closer to him, engraving an amorous kiss on his plump lips. "I love you too...darling." She mumbled, turning flustered red in modesty.
Abruptly hearing her heart fluttery shy reciprocation, a mischievous grin occupied his jowls and passionately he groped her waist, tugging her closer to his chest. His eyes were intensely locked on her while she was fidgetingly trying to avoid his ardent gaze.
"I had vowed to myself...that...I won't touch you till you accept me for who am I... And since...you have already accepted me, there is no point in staying apart anymore...isn't it?" Sneakily he leaned his lips closer to her flustered red left ear before rustling those words to tease her.
"Wh...What do you mean..." She seemed to be trying hard to hide her shy grimace from him, squirming in his outstretched strong arms.
"You know what I mean...in fact...you had tempted me too bad the time when we were drunk... So...I don't have to restrain myself tonight, right?" He whispered again in his intense, sonorous voice.
"But..."
"No but...sshhhh..." Quickly he placed his right index finger on her soft cherry red lips forbidding her to utter any word. Breathing heavily, she was lost deep in his wide, dark eyes as he was gawking at her. Slowly he inclined his face closer and nervously, she closed her eyes and perceived his warm breath on her grimace. Drifting his finger, he placed a fervent kiss on her trembling lips, gripping her waist intensely. It seemed that for a moment, the time had stopped around them with those two lovebirds immersed in each other's warmth.
In the blink of a second, slowly moving an inch away from her, momentarily he stared at her as she was wriggling nonchalantly in his arms, lowering her eyes down from him. Tossing a sly wide smile, instantly he picked her frail body up in his muscular arms, holding her waist tight. His sudden romantic move in that steamy night ambiance even startled Eva quite hard as she was being already bashful from the ardent atmosphere blooming between them.
"Ze...Zeus?"
"Let's go back to our room. I will carry you in my arms...my princess..." He whispered in a mellow voice, clenching his grope around her waist. Before she could rustle anymore, he walked back straight towards the resort firmly.
.......
As soon as Zeus and Eva left the shore premises, a shadow-like figure slowly marched out forward from behind a massive giant rock placed a few meters away from them on the eastern side. The figure who was monitoring both of them with a sharp gaze was no one other than Meghan owning the physical appearance of Lady Olie. She was dressed up in a complete black loose chiffon gown, holding a malicious smile on her face. Her eyes were in entirely black hellhound form, devoid of the whitish scleral part. Crossing her arms over her chest, she drifted her wavy untied hair rustling down her shoulder while walking boldly towards the blue waves.
"Do you think...that darn bracelet can keep me away from her, Master Zeus? But have you forgotten that...we are the shapeshifters? Haha!" Eliciting a squeal of mocking, devious laughter aloud, she raised her pale face up ogling at the giant moon shimmering on the clear night sky. "Well...I can't touch her in my inherent hellhound form...but...how will you forbid my human form from approaching your beloved one, you nosy alpha! I will make sure to make good use of this old woman's body to fulfill my target. I won't allow all the struggles I am enduring in this old body to go in vain...
Spend some quality time together tonight...before I rip apart her throat..." She whispered on her own, gritting her jowls in anger.
.
"Who are you?"
All of a sudden, the cold, sonorous voice behind her startled her while she was rustling on her own. Quickly transforming her eyes into normal, acting all calm she turned her neck behind. She noticed that Mr. Graham was standing a few steps apart from her, holding a brusque expression on his pale, wrinkly face.
"Ahh...honey? When did you come?" She tried to act all tranquil, despite getting anxious inside.
"Don't try to fool me anymore." His eyes seemed darker than usual, tossing a stern gaze towards her. "Who the heck are you?"
"What are you talking about, honey? I...I am your wife...Olie..." Sounding a bit fervent, she tried to take a step closer towards him. Watching her approach, immediately, he stepped back.
"Stop your worthless performance...no way...you are my Olie..."
"What are you talking about--"
"Why did I find this necklace buried in the backside yard of the resort?" Suddenly, he flashed a small shimmering silver necklace with a sparkling crystal crucifix pendant hanging on it. The necklace looked quite pretty as well as spiritual in that moonlit ambiance.
Witnessing the necklace in the most unexpected way, she rolled her eyes wider in surprise, gulping her saliva ardently. Clenching her fist, she stood still gawking at that pendant.
"My Olie...My Olie had promised me that she will never take off this divine necklace that I had gifted her to protect from any evil approach. She had given me her word that she would carry it to her grave... Then...
Then why is the necklace was buried in the yard? Why did I find it there? There...There's no way you are my Olie! Who...Who the fuck are you? What have you done to my wife? Where is she? Don't you dare try to fool me anymore!" He screamed out frantically with teardrops streaming down his grievous eyes, clinching the pendant in his arm.
"Gosh...you are such an old annoying man... Your wife was...quite better than you!" A wicked smirk spread on her lips as she squinted her gaze at him.
